And while we’re on the subject, would anyone mind if we removed “Spikes” from the game? Does anyone really want 76 spikes worth 2s in their inventory at the end of the night, and more importantly, does anyone want to take the time to go back and grab a bag when it contains 1 spike? Are these here to punish us? Did we do something wrong? And what part of the body is the “spike?” Why do so many invaders carry them?

So glad to have Ellehnia on Tarnished Coast! She is a super talented lady and the Dolyak parades really are one of the few opportunities to remember that its a game and not to take it all so seriously. I hope more people join us in DOLY!

Sanctum of Rall is an awesome server, and has many have mentioned, when you read the background story and find out so many people arrived there because of it, its just more reason to be impressed. They endured 9 weeks of second place finishes to BG because they simply couldn’t field the bodies to overcome the overnight waves of blackgaters that dominated the ppt, and yet here they are, ready to rise up into T1 and probably do pretty well.

They made a choice to relax a bit, to make sure they got everyone who wanted onto their server before the 28th, and I can’t slight them that. The relaxed state certainly made for more fun battles for me, so who cares if it didn’t exactly fit into our plans. None of this transfer business did, and we only have Anet and human nature to blame.

You want to be competitive, you want to have fun, just don’t do it at the expense of the guy on the other side. Their community has as much to be proud of as ours and I think both servers are legitimately stronger than when we first met a couple weeks ago. Lets keep it classy.

I think we will hold a Yak Parade in Tier 1 someday.

Im personally reading it to keep tabs on BG and Kain. To be honest, most posts from TC just clog up the thread with useless banter and nonsense about dolyaks. I understand you guys try to be silly or whatever but it paints your server as not being serious about wvw.

I find it silly that CDS doesn’t crack down on their forum warriors. Your gleader must get tired of coming back to apologize for you.

You remember how in the first Resident evil the zombies are sort of stupid and slow but on the second one they just kept getting smarter and faster and scarier! This is like Zombie Coast 2.

This week TC attracted some coveted night-time guilds, and I say good for them. FA will do what it has always done: hang in there, adapt, and keep fighting.

Personally I would love to drop to t2, T1 is still unplayable even with the culling fix. Skill lag only bennefits the zergs. Smaller scale coordination goes out the window when you can’t use your skills.

You guys act like T2 is the sticks lol. T2 is really no different than t1 except coverage.

You can’t really judge anything till about Tuesday but I will say from experience BG won’t likely step on the breaks, so if KA is playing normally and not trying to just stay up extra late, then it should be pretty close. As for TC, we will try our best to bring it every night, but we do plan on getting plenty sleep once na prime is over.

Someone mentioned earlier that we might have some say on who gets first, but it’s not really true. We play a very opportunistic game, which we learned from BG against SoR. If keeping you two engaged scores us more points, then we will side with whoever extends your conflict. This is after all what makes a 3 way battle fun, and how the losing team stands the best chance of having an impact. Great fights all!

I’m sure you guys have some great videos too. Lets try to keep the great sportsmanship going on this week’s thread though instead of filling it with hurt feelings. Its really been great matching up against [RET] in FABL this week and I’m sure both teams are enjoying the great fights.

I think all bodies should just drop heads and other body parts. Then you go to a butcher vendor or some sort of npc that will turn it into wvw only foods like jerky. The jerky can be eaten for specific wvw buffs like “loot more bodyparts from kills” and you can trade the severed heads in for rares and exotics. Entrails could be a new wvw only currency.

In related news 17 out of 17 winning servers had the most points at the end of the week. When will this madness ever end Anet???

Lets bring this thread back down a bit shall we? TC had an amazing night last night, probably the biggest server wide push we have ever had and it was alot of fun. People think we aren’t *competitive" because we are wimpy rpers, or that we are just content to be third or second or drop down a tier. It simply isn’t true. We know our weaknesses and we are still learning our strengths, every tier, every match. We don’t give up midweek and we keep coming back stronger.

FA…You are and probably always be our fierce rival. SoS had JQ, BG has SoR and we have you. You make us better at wvw but sometimes a little worse in the forums. Still, like i said last week, you guys don’t deserve to be in Tier 3 anymore than we do. We both have alot of spirit and great guilds and I think we bring out good fights in eachother, and thats all that really matters right?

They are doing well and certainly have proven at the very least they are suited for T2. The rest of the week will tell if they are T1! All the other stuff you’re talking about isn’t really wvw, its forum trash.

I don’t see you guys at any real risk of sinking to tier 3. There’s no other contenders out there pushing from below and you guys are still pretty much even with us depending on the week.

I hate that he can be so casually truthful on reddit because he is addressing the Guildwars 2 PvE community, and not just the small subset of wvw players that he ignores on his own subforum. For weeks our pleas for answers on both the reduction in pop caps and the queue issue were disregarded, allowing over 5 threads to be permeated with truth, untruth, fact and fiction when he knew all the while it was true and said nothing. That sort of shadiness doesn’t sit well with me and I now have zero respect for this person and his messages.

Because most rangers are very unaware of their surroundings. They typically stand in the back of the zerg out of “danger” and are super easy to spot. Once attacked, rather than run to the safety of that zerg, they will usually try to get some range often showing their back to the thief. If you don’t want to be the thief’s target, try to stay in melee range more.

Imagine my surprise when I loaded my 5000 badges into my bags and headed to the vendor. I’d liken it a bit to waking up extra early at age 5 on Christmas morning to open your amazing new presents only to find your parents murdered under the tree. I left with all my badges in the hope this is just the framework for the real stuff to be added later.

I feel like we’ve reached a point in the industry as a whole that auto looting should just be consider a given. Much like linking items in chat, or using a Trade broker. Of course it doesn’t take much energy to loot, but when the loot button doubles as an interact key for every thing else in combat, its a tedious system that just needs to go away. Let the game give me the loot so I can keep playing already.

I think you misunderstand the FA philosophy when you say stuff like this. Kain can recruit whoever and whenever they want. That’s not a question. And we will fight whoever and whenever they are on.

But it puts Kain in a funny spot. You treat them like children when they are not. And then when a players suggest its given some time, they get attacked for even speaking.

Come on guys and gals. You can’t control everything and not get called out for acting like a sow.

And yes, we were ping ponging between maps last night trying to bolster our defenses and hold what we had. You know, doing that whole PPT thing that some of you guys are telling us to learn.

I don’t have anything to add…I just wanted this quoted so I can look back at it every time someone from BT says they only play for the fights.

Really dissapointed in the whining, complaining and rampant baiting going on in this thread. TC has always made a point to bring our way of playing with us, and its sad that that only seems to apply when we are winning. If the score total is that important to you, please just take a couple weeks off while the system fixes itself.

As for spawn camping, its a valid tactic that has been in T1 for a long time. We were aware of it even in T3 when dominating FA and CD but I don’t think anyone had any real interest back then at sitting in a spawn with a balista when there were other maps to play in. Valid or not, its a shame that it really just hurts the little guy looking to have some fun. Guilds can come in and wipe that in seconds.

Still, in order for to SoR to get out of this tier as soon as possible, they really do need to dominate the score board. Its what most of you wanted last week, well, this is it.

No offense meant but the truth is thief is just the focal target, and there is always a focal target, so if it was not thieves it would be the next item on the QQ train. If you enjoy the game you figure out a way around the parts that bother you, or you do not enjoy it enough to be bothered and just leave. The ‘reason’ you are leaving has nothing to do with what you are saying, because there will always be that ‘thing’ for those that look for it.

The system works because sooner or later one server breaks or implodes and starts the long spiral downward. It shouldn’t be that long given the tone of that thread.
