it may very well be true that warriors cannot do all of it at the same time, but when I’m fighting a healing signet warrior whose bar doesn’t change at all, and still deals 2k+ per auto attack, there’s reason enough to make those claims.

Nevermind if it’s not ‘technically true’, in practice it is.

if a warrior is autoattacking you for 2k+, and you’re unable to out dps the healing signet, then the player is just really good, or you’re really bad, likely both. this has nothing to do with class balance. this is just l2p

make a new wvw map that is a mix of skyhammer and eotm, but when you fall off the edge of the world, you land in all water. and you have to do water combat for life until you die.

i think that sounds rly fun

NOPE calling for backup defending a supply camp? Yeah pretty sure most guilds on our server do it…. and you do it too.

As mag guilds generally run tagless, we include any pugs in number counts when the other groups are running tags. If you have 15 guildies, but 25 pugs, you’re a 40 man group.

They might be a 40 man group, but you cant call 15 PiNK and 25 pugs a PiNK blob, because its not.
and I’m fairly sure 40 isnt a blob either.

I think a lot of people forget that unlike BG and JQ who have been in Tier 1 for quite some time, TC was in Tier 2 for a very long time and is “new” to Tier 1 in comparison to the other 2 servers. So we know what Tier 1 and 2 is like before the tragic mess Anet made with the new matchmaking system.

There is still a lot of GvG that goes down in tier one as well as PPT fights. We almost never have map Q’s on TC unless were talking about reset night (which there around 30 person wait timers on all maps) or if we are responding to one of JQ’s typical blob tactics.

I will say that I miss Tier 2 and would love to push my realm to lose on purpose if only to drop us back down for a week or two. If JQ wasn’t Tier 1 I would gladly stay and fight it out with BG, but JQ has made Tier 1 pretty unbearable.

Actually, TC was Tier 4 way back when. We just slowly and steadily fought our way up to the top through sheer persistence, rather than by buying lots of guilds or being a popular bandwagon server.

uhh… you become T1 by taking most of sor’s guilds. do people still think tiers mean anything other than population and coverage?

i’m not going to read 3 pages of wall of texts, sry if this has been said before.

this is what anet needs to do to support the competitive scene.

buff underpowered skills/builds such that the meta can continuously evolve,
solidify the matchmaking and ranking system, polish the spectator view, maybe release a new gamemode.

then release the spvp part of the game as a separate free to play client. people can download this and be restricted to only hotm.

this will bring in all the casuals and pad the player base nicely. the competitive scene will grow as a direct result.

the camera now feels SUPER responsive, the overall feel is just so much smoother(lol) and clean. this is how it should have been from the beginning.

to those that feel ‘dizzy’ its not the fault of the camera, its your fps. the reason why the old camera didnt feel as bad was because the turning was artificially smoothed, compensating for lower fps.

This topic is losing to the SoR/TC/SoS topic… was expecting much more out of u “forum entertainers”, this is such a let down.

Last Mag + BP thread was just a bunch of boring borderline RP trying to get the thread to 20 posts and a lot of BP chest-thumping about how “we would roll Mag if the third server in the matchup was more even.”

Hardly impressive.

We got like 21 or 22 pages. And it was a challenge! I never back down from a challenge.

it doesnt really change the shatter build much. youd have to go 10/30/0/0/30

you lose the boon stripping abilities, but gain an extra trait in dueling to use.

possibly worth it.

fractal/dungeons in this game is all zerk all the time no exceptions.

another extremely aggrevating thing is that when other classes get nerfs, its always a change in the numbers, such and such skill now deals 15% less damage, or has reduced duration, or something along those lines.

this patch is, nerf mesmer, CHANGE THE WAY THE CORE MECHANIC WORKS ENTIRELY.

Guys the dude is R80. He knows sPvP.
Check he’s channel for sPvP vids too, and yes he uses different builds there.

He’s WvW builds and the way he play are just awesome for what he does. Man all that YOLO 6v1? even if they are trash noobs it is very impressive. You can also see him fight good players and still owning, but most importantly it’s fun to watch.
So really all that ‘wha wha not viable showcase vid’ is just jealousy.
If it’s so easy do it yourself, we will all love to see more warrior domination…

I suspect this bug has something to do with completing Clockwork Chaos (CC) with dailies, then it no longer increments sub-achievements like Invasion Canceler (IC). I completed CC with IC at 12/13, and in 8 portal runs since (all run for 40+ minutes, 3 defeating Scarlet) it has not incremented from 12 – tried 3 different characters…

this also happened to me, but i’ve done ALL zones multiples times now, still at 12/13.

anet needs to figure this fiasco out, and come up with an acceptable solution asap.

as this pertains to the next patch, ill repeat here what i already said in the wvw thread.

you know what the real solution to this bloodlust buff is?

make the bloodlust buff npc champs, siege damage, gate/wall hp and defenses for the server that holds the points.

this way, people that care about wvw points will have a reason to take and hold the points, without causing an imbalance of stats.

if you’re going to add a new mechanic into wvw, make it affect wvw related things such as siege, lords and towers/keeps. incentive people to do wvw related things with the new mechanic, for example, getting ready for an attack on a keep, take the points in lake first for 50% extra damage on catapults, or scouted a golem rush on garrison, send teams to take points, for 50% damage reduction on gates, etc etc.

dont give individual players a straight up stat bonus for no reason. its such a terrible idea in so many different ways, nothing good can come out of it.

i’ve been running a more direct damage variant of this build for a couple months now , and its funny, all people do is call you bad right after you completely destroy them, its really funny.
