Every time I get dc’ed it loses the progress I made and I can’t rejoin my party, I know this issue is a known one but I’m bringing it up again anyways. It’s the 4th time it’s happened to me in 5 attempts to it’s extremely frustrating. We need to be able to rejoin our parties.
Other than I’m loving the fractals guys, ignore the fail whines, it’s great thanks, even the drop rates have been well worth it!

Absolutely not. Your actions here and your actions in the game are two completely separate things. Receiving a suspension from the game because of actions on the forums is absolutely unacceptable, especially given how easy it is to receive an infraction on these particular forums.
Congratulations on making such a splendid game which really stands on top of other MMORPGs (my honest opinion)! I really enjoy spending my freetime online playing this game! I love the overall content, story and the gameplay that is SKILL based (which obviously puts a huge feedback on the player’s gamestyle, in a positive way ofcourse).
My question:
I’d like to know if there will be any improvements regarding some colours in game? I’m talking about colours like these:
-Cursor colour: it is good but it blends too much into the game and sometimes I have to search for it while fighting ( I know it sounds stupid but it happends).
-AoE colours: friendly AoE spells colours’ are the same as the enemies’, sometimes it’s hard to decide whether dodge them or not.
-Spell colours like Whirlwind Attack: the yellow effect does sometimes blend into the terrain.
These are just some of the “issues” occoured to me thus far
Don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining here, just want to know if these are being worked on or not reported yet.
Maybe adding a little illumination or glow effect to some of these colours might be beneficial.
If anyone has any comments regarding these “issues”, please feel free to comment or write your own suggestions. Hopefully the people at ArenaNET might consider implementing
Thank you for spending time reading or commenting on this.
Have a cheerful weekend and don’t forget the clock-change on sunday!
Cheers,
Greg
Please increase the time between spawns.
One example is that I was in Fireheart Rise killing elementals and as soon as I killed one, another one spawned immediately. It doesn’t add enjoyment to the game because I am killing the same elemental over and over again and I don’t feel like I’m contributing to putting an end to a problem described in my Renown “Clean up the Flame Legion magic”.
I have found that the spawn rates in general over the world map is too high.
It would work based upon a given number of players in a zone, lets say 5 people. If there is less than 5 people in a zone you then get an option to transfer to an “Underflow” server which has a lot more then 5 players in it.
I feel the last 15 levels It has been very desolate in the zones I am playing in. I believe this could help not only myself but lots of other players out there who would like to play with others when the zones are empty.
What say you ANet?
Yea, I have to vote against this whole suggestion in it’s entirety , one of the things that drew me to GW2 was that it DIDN’T have these things. There are plenty of korean MMO’s out there that include all the teenage boyish fantasies they could ever want but to add anything like that into this game would be to compromise what makes it what it is. So please don’t advocate for ANet to sell out to the lowest common denominator, enough MMO’s already do that we don’t need another.
Also no offense to the OP but this game seems to be about being tastefully sexy not “Lets kitten off daddy with a tramp stamp and belly button ring” sexy. So if you want that this game is not for you, plain and simple. So please go check out Tera, you can play a castanic where you will never wear more than a couple strips of clothing at any time.

No, just no. Exploitin’ women to bring in more players isn’ the way I wanna see Anet go an’ I don’ think that’s the kinda company they wanna be. There are already enough skimpy outfits in game, what we need are more attractive, non skimpy outfits … there are some, but we could always use more.
I’m sorry I stepped outta yer box, don’ worry, if
ya whine enough they’ll put me right back.
I just upgraded my 295 gtx to 690’s in SLI.
I lost performance… I went from a constant 60 fps on medium settings to a constant 30 fps on low settings. WTF is that kitten?
I have the best intel cpu money could buy, so it’s not a bottleneck.
Spent 1000$ in upgrades and lost kittening performance. kitten. I’m getting over 200 fps in BF3 and the witcher but in gw2 I get 30 fps? fix your kitten client, anet.
There are already plenty of revealing outfits. I don’t think we need g-string thongs or any further oversexualization on a game rated T/Pegi 12.

hey anet i really like your dynamic events. i really like exploring, and i dont like rushing through the game. but i can only go where everyone else goes because my character cant do many of the later events solo. which i almost always am unless i stick to the same path as everyone else.
im not asking for increased rewards. theyre fine the way they are. i just want the game to be playable if no ones there to help me. give me bonus armor or reduce stats or amounts of enemies. i dont have godly gear but would like to take down a risen megalodian shark but no ones ever there. and no one that is there stays there long enough for a group to be formed because the shark will rip thier kitten open. and who wants to sit and wait to play a game? not me and its what your avoiding. i garuntee if you empower the solo player for events passers by will join them. i would. keep their hps high if you want but dont allow solo players to go down quickly in events untill more players join them and are activly participating. like 5 seconds into zone.
i really want to play your game. all of it. others may have their favorite events and thats great for them. but farming bores me and so does running past an event i know will just cost me money if i try.
and yes for the trolls i know you can do every event easily and i just suck. youre amazing at video games and im not. too bad they dont pay you to do that and troll or youd be rich.
The amount of the stat gained per kill as shown on the hero UI doesn’t match the amount listed in the sigil’s tooltip text. I get about 1/2 the expected amount. I don’t know where this problem is: incorrect sigil bonus, hero UI incorrectly displaying the bonus, or wrong sigil tooltip text.
Details:
I’ve tested the issue with the Minor Sigil of Bloodlust (5 power/kill)(on a lvl30 warrior’s mainhand axe) and Major Sigil of Perception (7 precision/kill)(on a lvl45 ranger’s longbow).
In the attached pic, my ranger has the +7 precision sigil on his bow, above the skills you can see I have 20 stacks which should yield +140 precision. The hero UI shows only +80. So instead of +7/kill I’m getting +4/kill. On another character I tested the +5 power/kill sigil (on mainhand axe) and saw the same behavior getting +2/kill. In both cases I’m getting about 1/2 the amount stated in the tooltip text.
-edited to fix stat numbers to match the attached pic (mixed up which pic I attached)

I’d love to see a youtube video of someone playing the game “normally” and still hitting diminishing returns. Whenever there’s a thread like this, it’s natural to wonder what exactly the person making the complaint is doing “wrong” or what actions they’re taking that are triggering DR.
My point being, showing a video of someone playing normally/reasonably and then having their gameplay wrecked by diminishing returns 20 minutes into it would definitely gain some support for the supposed problem fairly easily.
Otherwise, without some sort of visual proof you’re probably going to leave people feeling unsympathetic because they’re picturing you gaming the system in some ridiculous manner (and getting bitten back by it).
Just a suggestion.
