Sometimes it’s not just a matter of speed but also sparing yourself some frustration.
Speaking for myself, as someone who runs a good share of my dungeons with inexperienced, non-meta guildies and doesn’t mind in the least, when I want to pug a path (because I don’t have a lot of time, I’m tired, or am not in the mood to explain, etc) I want to run it quick and efficient and with minimum hassle, so that’s when that kind of LFG message is useful.
So yes, I can, and have, run CoF1 with every sort of party composition. I do, however, prefer it when we don’t almost wipe at the effigy like it happened two days ago because while I posted “p1 zerk” I didn’t bother gearchecking and it became very obvious that AT MOST one other person was using zerk gear and the other three were using random stuff (fun fact: when I was down and the other four up and attacking, the effigy was actually regenerating health).
Sure, you can run SE or CM without a guardian or a thief respectively. But there’s a chance with random pugs that things are going to go pear-shaped, and that’s not something I have the strength to deal with all the time, so I make a “p1, need guard” listing and kick if no one’s willing to change. (Alternatively I change classes, but not everyone can do that.)
And yeah, I’m willing to wait two minutes more to get people I don’t have to vent about in gchat after.
I am predominantly a WvW player. Try doing nothing other than that for a month several hours a day. You’ll know what being unrewarded feels like.
Oh and about the LFG issues THIS is just pure gold.
This thing needs an amplifier. I want people to hear this backpack even if they mute their sound.
I would buy a talking skritt backpack
But he’s so cute!
Don’t forget to give away all your stuff and delete your characters before uninstalling. Also might as well stop coming to the forums. I mean, if you quit for good, why would you care about anything related to the game anymore?
Play the game, periodically look at my gold and it’s more than I had before
Personally I have a complete and total indifference to dungeon selling. I’ll never buy a path since if I want to dk a dungeon I’ll do it myself. That being said I’m against this sort of griefing. A seller’s play style has no impact on me so why be a kitten bag and vote kick them. I’ll never understand griefers. Don’t they realise that rather than make them look king kitten, it just reveals what a petty, small minded person they are. Instead of hating on them I just shake my head in pity.
And u´re still pushing sword 1 97% of the time. Torch FF is usually not needed. Horn can be used.
Axe 4 works only if u don´t fight on a wall, guard reflects do more dmg (so he/she should do it).
RaR is most times not needed too.
LB5 cd is long, most fights are over before it is rdy again.Old build was more fun, no need to open inventory to swap LB/WH and/or possibel rotation with dagger/axe.
Open inventory to switch weapons before combat is not hard, not challenging, just annoying. And annoying things don´t make fun.
97% of the time? so 3% of the time on the LB? O_O
Never claimed the axe offhand reflect was to replace anything, it’s just there for in between things (when required). Common sense dictates for most things that a guardian’s wall or a mesmer’s feedback is what should be relied on first. (Although I do encourage people to give offhand training + sig of the wild + whirling defence a try on lupicus’s aoe.)
Rarely fighting things in walls these days. Fgs nerf and all that.
If your Barrage is still on CD, doesn’t matter because your rapid fire rarely will be, just time it closer to it dying.
Torch fire field is needed depending on your team, I trust again that most people understand when to use it based on party composition and quality of players in said party.
Never said anything was hard, just didn’t want people standing around thinking the rather bare bones rotation you just explained was all there is to it. It’s important to have the details.

How Do You Know They Are Not Actually Carrying You?
Because I am the one soloing lupicus and they died to kicks in phase 1.
“virtually no DR” is akin to saying someone “almost doesnt have AIDS”
wow thread should have been allowed to die the first time it got necro’d
head here to discuss wvw without fear of infractions
Don’t blame it on zerkers that they won’t introduce harder content. Anyone who didn’t know the mechanics and refusing to adapt failed. Including all the special snowflakes with their unique builds.
I can be a girl if you want me to.

I love this game.

I’m wondering what the OPs point in posting this is.
If you want the game of GW2 banned in your country, continue pursuit of this line of discussion as the BL chest system is not going to be altered to meet one countries laws (unless they are US Law or possibly Korean).

When I was young, I used to buy baseball cards. You always wanted a full set, but you never knew what you were going to get in the pack. Baseball cards have a cash value. The items in this game don’t because you can’t sell them for cash.
Gambling laws only exist in games were you can cash out like Second Life. This is more along the lines of baseball cards. First of all you’re not even paying cash for black lion keys, you’re paying cash for gems which can buy many things. Costumes, toys, minis.
You’re spending gems, which are not cash, and have no cash value (because they can’t be sold) for black lion keys.
So yeah, until they change gambling laws, this isn’t gambling, even if it does fall under the dictionary definition…it doesn’t fall under the legal definition.
Gambling is a word in an English language. You can gamble on a person’s honesty too, but it’s not illegal. lol
I think my LFG ads have always been the most bizarre.
Just about any time I post an LFG it might have a kirby face in it somewhere or say something like “must love Ellie goulding or gtfo!” etc.

I guess I should have asked sooner but you do know that image of the ‘male fantasy armor’ was a joke, right?
But that’s the point, you can joke about it, or you can claim it’s a serious point, but you can’t do both at once. Too many of these “comics/games/movies/etc. are sexist” memes are based around making a joke of it, but in doing so it destroys any credibility they might have. Instead fo making a 1:1 comparison of something that they find sexist to females to something equally sexist involving guys, they take something they find sexist, convert it into something using guys, and then dial it up to 12, like adding a kissy face, or twisting the spin an additional 10 degrees, or making the outfit even tighter, etc. It may be amusing, but it’s not going to convince anyone of anything they aren’t already convinced of.
you spend complaining about it on the forums, you’d be
done by now.”
I’m OK with the party leader being unable to be kicked UNLESS it’s a unanimous decision by all 4 other party members. (And sellers can just bring a buddy to avoid this happening.)
OP, you’re giving young people(i’m assuming you’re a young adult) a bad name:

The victim narrative part fits so perfectly….:\
Curious about what “compensation” you “suggested” the 3rd party credit card processor give you.
How is this well known “leveling” trick at all related to the latest Feature Pack?
Fate is just the weight of circumstances
That’s the way that lady luck dances
There is this funny little feature in the game, called “chat”. When you join a group and you think they expect you to know the run you can just simply write something like “Hey guys I generally know this run, but I’ve been away from the game for a while so I may not know the latest tactics”.
If they kick you find a new group, if not you learn something and they know from the beginning of the dungeon that there may be parts in the dungeon that require explanation. The worst thing you can do is saying nothing at all or joining a group that explicitly looks for experienced players.
Currently playing Heart of Thorns.
That’s a good work-around, but it’s to a problem that shouldn’t exist: it should be easier to find the right item if you type (or paste) the full name.
