Guild Wars 2

I have to say after looking into Guardian I really am stumped at which to “main” which class has the more viable builds? Seems warrior mobility vs guardian support is the question. Or typical melee standard skills vs the “magica” battletank skills haha

I’m almost certain i’m now going to level my Warrior for my main class as my Asura which is already level 32, i’ll then level up a Guardian afterwards as more of a support class. Warrior for damage/control, guardian for support.

I tried elementalist yeah but i couldnt get into it at all. Enjoyed warrior and guardian however

Thank you so much for the input! I think for sure i’m more of a Warrior/Guardian playstyle. How decent is the Guardian dps set? Is it widely required for it’s support more than it’s dps? Would u ever select it for a dps?

Warrior sounds agile, powerful and entertaining. Thats what i love in a class. Fast gameplay, decent combos and lots of build variety!

Long story short I started as an Engineer but over time have started to hate playing it thus can’t get passed level 58…

I’ve been looking at what class would more suit how I like to play…

I’m not entirely sure which class would perform better, I understand it’s fairly balanced.

First and foremost I want to hit 80 ASAP so which is the quicker option for that?

Second, i do everything… Solo, team, pvp, wvw, fractals, dungeons, pve, the whole lot. So which is more ideal in grneral for all? I’m more of a damage player but i do love my control/support also. So i’m not TOO bothered about either.

Any tips, opinions and/or advice? Thanks!

Afternoon all,

Long story short i’ve been levelling my Engineer after having a break for about year and i’m struggling. It feels very clunky and it’s not much fun lately… It is lvl 58 so it’s close to 80, however i’m lvling so slow that it’s almost an effort itself logging onto the class!

Now I have a lvl 34 Warrior and I used the boost tokens to get a lvl 20 Ranger and a 20 Thief, however i’m not too keen on Thief and i’m unsure on Ranger.

At 80 i’ll be doing everything. I’m not too bothered about being meta as i’ll be fairly casual, but i’d still like to compete in dungeons/fractals, pvp/roaming/wvw etc.

At the moment i’m looking for a fun to play class which is fast to level and will overall be great for me at 80.

Classes i’m looking at: Warrior, Ranger, Necro, Guardian.

Obviously want to get 80 ASAP and also want to be able to compete once I get there, any opinions on the 4classes there? I’d love to be DD as main spec but not too fussed with Support.
