Well crap! I don’t have any professions haha

So:
1) Fractals until I get rings
2) Level professions
3) craft back piece / amulets
4) guild missions and dailies for laural accessories
5)craft weapons and armor

So for whatever reason, I keep taking extended breaks and returning to the game.

I’m currently level 80 necro in full exotics. Looking to take the dive into ascended gear.

What are the easiest pieces to get first?
How do you even go about getting new pieces?
Do I need to level a profession?

One more stupid question.

Where do dire + rabid trinkets come from in the build you linked?

Luckily, only story mode is like this. And story mode is only like this since it got nerfed immensely and they didn’t bother to shorten the spawntimes etc. – And yeah, spamming 1 at dragons is extremely boring.

Good to know. I was about to drop this game and avoid it like the plague.

I get a feeling end game PvE is non existent.

End game is pretty much what you make out of it. Dungeon (solos) can keep you busy, wvw can keep you busy, pvp can etc. – If you don’t find any fun in it, it won’t help you though of course.

I’ve been doing WvW and sPvP.

Grew bored of them figured I’d try PvE.

Finished entire personal story in 2 days. Now I’m bored again lol

I spent the better part of a half hour sitting idle on a boat making a 20 point turn while mindlessly shooting cannons at dragons.

Disappointed.

Seriously though, reduce idle time on the boat that kitten is horrible.

about the build you linked, dagger mainhand is an absolute power weapon, if you play conditions, scepter is a must. The build you posted has…serious problems in the trait department:)

I’m now using the budget build you linked. Although I may ditch well of power for something like SoS or epi?

I already have consume conditions, #4 on staff and #4 on warhorn to remove conditions.

I want to try out the top few cookie builds to figure out what play style I like.

So I’m looking for a build that works well in a group but will be able to hold its own on a 1v1 encounter.

Alright. I’ve found out max stat gear can be purchased in home world of wvw from the armor merchant.

I just need to figure out a build I like.

I’m looking for the most general WvW / EOTM builds, focused more around solo play then group play. I would like to try the top POWER build and the top CONDITION build. As well what gear to use with it.

A few days ago, for whatever reason I installed GW2 and started playing again. I left off in the early level 20’s. I grinded nothing but EOTM from level 20-80 and I know absolutely nothing about the game.

What should I be doing? What gear should I be getting?

Please don’t just hit me with a block of wall text rambling on about something I know nothing about. I’m a noob. Day one language please

Secondly, like stated before you might want to find a guild.
thirdly, like also stated this game might be not yours. Even though it sounds like blasphemy, it is true that not everyone likes it. Maybe could you describe what you are doing in the game, how you are leveling. what experience you have in other games and why you didn’t found them boring.

I just jumped right in and started following the golden hearts. Completed the first two zones 100%

For some reason, I seem to be leveling faster then the content? I’m already half way through the second zone kessex hills I believe. Most quest / event / story mode quests are getting to be 20+

Am I missing something?

Also haven’t chosen a profession if that matters…?
