Our numbers haven’t increased over the week… yours have simply decreased. Nothing we can do about that.

That’s right, we log off as soon as we got enough loot bags for the day.

See, this is exactly my point. If your goals were as high as TC, you’d stay on longer so you could get as many loot bags as we get off you.

Learn to remove conditions. If your group isn’t spec’d to remove large amounts of condition… YOU are doing it wrong.

It’s a VERY simply ability to A) Remove and Take no damage from.

TSL has re-opened our recruitment. As a guild, we typically run group of 20-30 people in WvW at night. We have also begun running our spec groups which have shown to be very successful.

We are looking for more individuals who are group orientated players, have mumble, and are willing to represent TSL 100% of the time. Please read the initial post in the thread for more information or send me a whisper in game.

We have guild groups doing either WvW or Missions every night.

We at Tarnished Coast have really enjoyed being in this tier with you. You’re a fun group and it’s been a pleasure to match up against you. We’ve seen some great tactics from some of your guilds, and many of your groups have shown some resilience as even when outmanned, they will still keep coming back.

You have some very good guilds on your server, and it looks like we’re going to become very familiar with each other over the next few weeks.

It’s nice that we can come back to this thread and have not just a civil conversation with, but also laugh and joke about things each team has done during the week.

I think it’s rather funny how every time we face FA, the excuses for why they don’t win start rolling within a day or two of reset. Excuses always begin with “They’re 2v1 us”… then people point out that TC also has control of the 3rd servers territory… and are attacking the 3rd servers SMC.

Then excuses move to guilds transferring to TC. Then people point out that only a few medium sized WvW guilds have transferred here since release, while one of our largest WvW guilds has left. Meanwhile FA has had 4 just last week transfer… from a Tier 1 server.

Inevitably the blame shifts to saying we have more numbers… but as proven by Kaineng, we have very little players outside of NA. Sure we have some, but not nearly enough to compete with the likes of the Oceanics from Kaineng, or any of the Tier 1 servers.

Ultimately this then brings about name calling… calling us roleplayers and saying that we are bad in the open field… when to be honest, our guild has rarely lost a fight in open field against FA. Are we going to say it never happens? No, but we win far more fights in the open field than we lose, and I think there are several guilds that can say the same thing.

Bottom line… TC finds a way to win. Whether through better organization, better tactics… or hell, maybe we just roleplay better and that’s the tipping point.

Whatever the reason, in every week that TC has battled, we’ve gone up against some of the best servers and have had nothing but compliments from the likes of Kaineng, Blackgate, Sanctum or Rall, Sea of Sorrows, Dragonbrand and Maguuma. The only server who we seem to constantly see excuses coming from?

Well, I think everyone can see the pattern from FA.

It’s really a shame that some take this game so personally and get upset. It’s one of the strong traits of Tarnished Coast. We used to get our kitten handed to us… and instead of trash talking on the forums, or making us excuses, we looked at why we died and learned from it. We’ve had our kitten handed to us by the likes of Blackgate, SoS, SoR, etc… we didn’t trash talk (Ask them if you want)… we came back fighting and got better each time.

Hopefully we’ll see less of the trash talking/excuse making from FA next week and more of this ‘superior open field fighting’.

The Shadow Legion (TSL) had a great time tonight on Maguuma BL. We’ll be back… maybe not the same borderlands though, we like to change it up pretty often.

Some good fights though.

Our entire guild is experiencing a bug where we were suddenly showing as not being in ANY guild. The guild still exists, and when we restarted our client it seemed to fix the problem, however I am now getting emails from members asking if they had been kicked out or for a reinvite, etc.

Anyone else experiencing this?

TSL is still accepting applications. If you’re looking for a guild that runs guild groups daily and is full of skilled players but still has a fun atmosphere, you’ll want to come talk to us about joining TSL.

TSL is a guild that has been around since 1998, and although we are able to field very respectable numbers, we still have that feeling of a close tightknit guild that has been gaming together for years.

We specialize in group PVP/WvW, however many of our members also enjoy doing guild PVE runs during off peak times when we’re not grouped as a guild for WVW.

The only reason you see the score on FA so low a lot of the time is because Terrible Coast never attacks anyone else other than FA. So BG being the opportunists they are take full advantage of this and attack us as well.

I am not complaining however, I love it, keep it coming guys, the more zergs come at us the more loot bags. O soooo many loot bags tonight and spent more than half the night on Yak escorting. Only time I died was against a few awesome TC thieves whilst guiding the yak and at SMC with the entire ICOA and TC server coming down on us at the same time and still held it for 2 wipes of BG and 1 wipe of TC.

Good fun this matchup.

Knew this would startup from FA. Last time we faced them all they did was complain about getting 2v1… and again it starts here.

Last night I was in BG borderlands with a good sized group of TC… we never saw any FA there.

Before you complain… and yes that’s EXACTLY what you were doing… realize this is a 3-way fight. Sometimes you’re going to be on the receiving end of a 2v1… sometimes you’ll be fighting 2 v 1 other.

How do they think that making a PVP game where you CAN’T see your opponent, much less a full ZERG of them… is a good product?

It hasn’t gotten any better at all. It might very well be worse.

I think it’s easily the most disappointing part of this game.

I think it’s particularly funny reading all the trash talking that is coming from those who had to transfer to a different server to win, and then feel like thumping their chests even though they weren’t able to do succeed on their previous server.

TSL is still enjoying this matchup. We’re fighting against much larger groups but having a great time.

Hope SoR stays in this tier another week.

TC Was on another level last night with their strategies last night IMO. Constantly when a tower got hit there would be a ninja or another attack elsewhere at the same time. You guys really made us question your tactics, like “is this really their main target or do they have… yep they have rams on NW bay.” You guys pushed to Choo to having to split up into 3 different groups at one point just to make sure you where not back dooring other towers.

I’m pretty sure you’re talking about the tactics we were using against you on SBI borderlands. I’m glad that we were able to cause that much of a problem for you guys being that we had a much smaller group this reset than we normally have on Fridays.

I would also like to strongly encourage people to consider Tarnished Coast. We have an excellent community that is filled in all aspects of the game. We have a flourishing RP’ing community, many strong WvW guilds who actually work together and get along, and a very strong PVE community to boot.

We have no queue times at all during EU or Oceanic prime time for WvW and could certainly use more. Our NA crew is very capable, but every night we still have one or two maps that have no queues.

If you’re looking for a great community, don’t miss this opportunity to transfer over for free or you may have to pay for it later.

TSL is still looking to add solid recruits. We have built up a very active roster of players who are always looking to fight together as a group in WvW. As it stands now we typically have between 20-30 people on in WvW during peak hours and reset. We have brought in quality people rather than focus on adding everyone and anyone so although our numbers did not increase as quickly as other guilds, we have now become a sizable force of very effective PVP’ers in WvW.

Many of our guildmembers do participate on PVE, but we all participate in WvW.

There are many guilds who have been waiting for a long time to transfer to Tarnished Coast, and now finally are getting their opportunity. Due to the nature of the server, it’s always had one of the highest populations and usually listed at full 99% of the time. With these new population increases, many guilds are now moving over to take advantage of the server we have.

Being the nature of the server, we have very short queue times for WvW, if any at all as we carry a full slate of guilds who participate in everything from WvW, sPvP, PVE and Roleplaying.

If you’re looking for a chance to move over, now would be a good time to take advantage just as many other guilds are doing.

I would like to personally welcome the CD guilds that have joined Tarnished Coast in the last few days. Already we have seen many of you in WvW. Looking forward to meeting the rest of you.

Tarnished Coast has always been known for it’s strong community and the maturity level of the server. We don’t have the huge zerg guilds with ego’s to match, but instead we have many strong guilds who put checked their ego’s at the door and all work together for a common cause and what’s best for the server.

People truly get along and want to work together and take great pride in winning as a team.

You will have lots of fun during Asian timezone because we don’t have a four map queue compared to other servers with huge oceanic guilds. We the Singaporeans in the server can become Guild wars 2 kakis man! As the poster mentioned above, Tarnished Coast is essentially the NA Roleplaying server, but we have proved to be very competitive in Tier 2. However, we could actually really use the people that this thread is asking to stay away. During the times in question, we have no queues and are really looking for more to come over to help with coverage.

Tarnished Coast is well known for their strong community and variety of guilds. We have very strong commanders and every week are complimented on our never say die attitude. Each week we improve and advance.

If you’re a EU or Oceanic guild looking for a server with zero queue times during your prime time, but one that is also very competitive during what would be your off hours, take a look at Tarnished Coast and see what all the hype is about.

If you’re a solo player or perhaps a small or inactive guild looking to join another guild that has a very solid base of active players with a solid history of gaming, you should come talk to us about merging. We have already added a couple of small groups to our numbers and they have been a welcome addition.

Still more players are needed. Free transfers are going to end soon so don’t wait around too long. We have maps that have no queues on them at all times of the day. Even during reset our queues are usually about 10-15 minutes and after that night there is always at least 2 maps without a queue.

We are looking for players for all time slots, but we could certainly use a little more help for our late night coverage.

Please read the previous posts from people who have come over already. It’s a decision they don’t regret in the least. I’ve had many people that have told me they had no idea how much better it would be on TC.

How is the queue times for around 8 pm EST in your server? I have some friends and i interested in changing servers for a good community with WvW players with a brain, but of course we worry about queue times taking away our fun.

There is always at least ONE map that has no queue, even during peak hours, and even during reset nights. If you’re looking to get onto the TC Borderlands or the EB borderlands, you may wait about 10 minutes sometimes. Not often you have to wait longer than that.

World transfers currently available for Tarnished Coast. Come join the server that is being recognized as having the best community in the game. Read the previous posts from people who have posted about having transfered and been very happy to have done so.

Unlike many other servers, there is little to no drama in WvW. With the more mature nature of the server, there is very little in the way of drama as most guilds strive to work together. Unlike many other servers where there is a massive alliance of zerg guilds who only work together and spit on the little guy… Tarnished Coast strives to help the little guy improve to become a more effective member in WvW.

If you or your guild are thinking of transfering to another server, Tarnished Coast will not disappoint. Every week we have been improving and moving up the ranks in WvW.

Many people are still reporting that there are many times during the day when our server is not listed as full. We are still looking for those that enjoy WvW to transfer over. Although we have maps that have no queue all day long, we are primarily looking for people to help during late night and early mornings in NA times.

As you can see by several messages in the thread, Tarnished Coast is a very popular server due to it’s strong community.

Don’t wait until the server is once again listed as full 99% of the time.

TC has become one of the most popular servers because of how the community is. It is second to none… and this is one of the main reasons we have been as successful as we have been in WvW. Unlike other servers that had massive guilds who formed huge alliances to stomp as many as they could… Tarnished Coast is full of much smaller guilds who look to work together. This cooperation is what is driving this server to the top tiers.

We are looking for those that would like to join us and would like to be part of the growing community that we have. Each of our guilds feel like they actually contribute something, unlike other servers where unless you’re part of the massive zerg alliance, you’re really peanuts.

We are looking for more of a night time presence, and I have an officer in the guild who is looking to help organize the night time crew.

We have had a number of new recruits over the last week and guild activity is still extremely high. Our policy is to recruit the individual, not their class or level. If your personality fits in well with TSL, your class and level are not nearly as important to us.

Having said that, we are only looking for individuals who want to play in one guild. We like to see our members concentrating on guild activities. Everything from WvW to PVE, we like to do as a guild.

This next week will be a great opportunity for people to move over to Tarnished Coast. With so many people not being in game over the holidays, that opportunity to catch Tarnished Coast not full is a lot higher.

I’ve had several people tell me that there is still time slots throughout the day where we are not listed as a full server. Just keep trying and get onto the server while you still can. Eventually we’ll be too ful and it will be near impossible.

We are looking for WvW players, primarily those who play during the non-peak hours. There is almost never a time when at least one of the maps doesn’t have a queue on it, and those that do it’s rarely much longer than 5-10 minutes.
