I’m sorry, the games been out three years. 50-60 for three years is fine. I expected to pay for this, you should have too. If you aren’t ready, want to see more first, need to save, that’s fine. But it is not Anets fault – and I’m not a fanboy. lol
Or in other words, PvE weekends take priority over second rate WvW weekends
So?
PvE has a extremely larger core player base then WvW. It only stands to logic that it takes priority. As well, there are a large amount of solid WvW players who equally enjoy the PvE content. I do not see any rationale in being angry about the reasoning.
It sounds logical.
I’d just like to point out that sPvP had a low core player base that has since grown a lot due to the development attention that sPvP has been given since the April 2014 Feature Pack. I think the same can be accomplished for WvW and that it is possible for all modes to find a happy medium of “priority”. It would be good to grow all parts of the game.
So much this.
I think it is also important to explain that a large part of the allure of the game on release marketing was dynamic PvE content and large scale server vs server competitive battle (WvW). This pulled a massive playerbase searching for a WoW alternative who yearned for the days of DAoC. GW2 fills that void nicely but has since all but abandoned this part of the community. Imagine how amazing WvW could be if Anet cared even a small amount about it. In my history of WvW I have seen ONLY 2 ANET EMPLOYEES REPPING ANET EVER in WvW… and one was only a screenshot posted on these forums because of a dispute. The other is the one who ran with JINX for a short time on BG/FA (iirc). Where is the representation?
With the hype strong with Camelot Unchained still (and I am not optimistic about that game), the draw is real. Anet needs to start showing some serious consideration to the WvW game-mode before other projects and attrition remove a large player base. I know you guys think we wouldn’t quit over WvW, which may be true for some players… but there are also a lot of players like me who log in, do PvE or whatever just so I have nice gear to take to WvW. Remove that aspect of the game and I have no drive to play any other game-modes.
I have posted twice in this thread so far in mostly sarcastic and negative manners because I am so far beyond disgusted at this change.
So my official official and concise opinion, since Gaile said they are reading this:
I am a leader of a WvW guild. We run about 20-30 a night, 5 nights a week. The highest attending night we have is Friday Night Reset, as per the atmosphere. If the Saturday change remains in effect, it is more than likely that DN has run their last reset on October 16th, 2015. This is a guild that has consistently ran reset in dark and bright simes since the end of 2013 when it was founded (and I personally have only missed a handful). This is coming from what I like to call a mid-grade WvW guild – we are not hardcore but we are not casual as we have strict rules about WvW raids. A lot of my players also do enjoy PvE but they do it in the daytime before we raid. Some of my players spend 90% or more of their time in game in WvW and have played across all timezones. This has been objected to by all but about 4 of my 63 man roster. Moving reset night to Saturday removes the ability for many of us to play how we want. It isn’t simply of the loss of culture and excitement that happens on Friday, but rather the shifting of entire matchups over a day…. as many have said before the end of the matchup is boring and already decided meaning not many people log in to fight or even cap. I have been in kitten, T5 and T4 on 5 or 6 different servers now and it’s been the same for all of them: beginning of the week is intense and the end of the week is boring, stale, and dead. Cutting in half the weekend playtime of intense play by making all of Friday and most of Saturday fall in that deadzone was very inconsiderate of Anet to the WvW community.
That being said, I understand the need for moving Reset temporarily. But if you fail to revisit this in a timely fashion (I think 8 weeks is pushing that envelope very far, but 2 may be too soon) then I would bet you will have a lot of angry people on here again, or still.
And Gaile, I have always felt that you have been a great example of how Anet employees should interact with the community. You’re one of the few who is not afraid to jump into an angry mob of people and TRY to solve problems and satiate our bloodlust. But you also need to understand what they did here is not okay for a lot of the reasons already stated (one of the biggest is changing a huge aspect of one game-mode’s culture after securing preorders from them by promising access to betas that affect that game-mode). I am disappointed by the “this is how it is, we aren’t asking for a poll” types of responses you’re giving, but I understand them. Please urge the rest of the team not to try to sweep this under the rug just because the pitchforks will disappear over the next couple of weeks.
I will be sharpening mine in that time period.

The only way to win any argument w/ Anet is to vote w/ your feet. Or your purse/wallet whatever. Or you are destined to be angry and disappointed.
I agree, but unfortunately this is something we no longer can do. They pushed the expansion so hard and made it so we could only have a reasonable chance to test anything in WvW and the WvW maps if we preordered. Now that we’ve all (obviously I just mean a large number of us) preordered we can’t tell them we won’t because we already have.
We need a strawpoll for how many people wishes they didn’t preorder now that they ruined a large part of our enjoyment in WvW. Pointless as it may be.
They already discriminate against us anyway. More abuse is expected. We’re the red headed step children of this game.

Biggest slap in the face to the WvW community yet.
We spent years building a culture of WvW Reset and you simultaneously kitten all over it and spit on us while we’re down.
Angel, we’ve known that about Guild Missions since at least June.
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/guild-halls-missions-for-all/
As a result, we decided that in the new system, guild missions will be free to run as much as you want. Each mission will give its bounty of favor only once per week, on the first successful run, but each member can get their personal commendation rewards by running the mission at any time during the week, even if the guild has already completed it.
And it’s been stated more recently, including a blog post a couple weeks ago. It would be nice to get a refund on them for those who built them anyway, but it’s not like we didn’t have warning.
The issue isnt that it wasn’t known, the issue is that they randomly spring a release date on us. That is where the lack of warning comes from.
There is no possible way to use 10x of each guild mission consumable. Thanks for all the warning Anet. Waste of influence.
This is asinine. I don’t even need to say why because everyone else has. Just another slap in the face to the WvW community.
To those that don’t understand, this is effectively ruining “half” of the weekend of WvW. >.>
Are we getting refunded for our guild mission consumables? We keep about 10 ready at any given time, it’s kind of unfair that we lose all of that influence or whatever now.
None of the mission control/banners/anything works right now.
Tried multiple relogs, multiple map changes.
Fix nao thanks.

Who is [DN]? History
We are a WvW focused guild. We were founded on SoR and moved to TC upon SoR’s fall. We participated in S2 on TC and chose to make the move to Blackgate. After spending some time on Blackgate, and proving ourselves during Season 3, we chose to undertake a T2 move with our good friends [JINX] Bad Lucks Coming to Fort Aspenwood, with the goal of finding better fights and continue to destroy opponents in WvW. Unfortunately when the cancerous guilds from T1 invaded T2 it was no longer the environment or playstyle we enjoyed. Along with [JINX] and our new friends Venator Phalanx [VP], all three of us moved down to Dragonbrand to hang our hats and fill our bags. Now we enjoy cooperation with our favorite two friend guilds, as well as our new friends on Dragonbrand.
We take pride in running smaller numbers vs the large hordes. You’ll rarely see us backing down from a fight and we aim to become one of feared fighting guilds on the Dragonbrand server. We may be WvW focused, but the overall goal of the guild is have the most fun possible while still maintaining success. WvW will always be our top priority, despite other interests. Although we consider ourselves WvW focused, we are also a community where everyone’s voice is heard and matters – you will find no dictatorship here.
What do we require of members?
Well, good question! We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about running WvW, want to improve their skills and tactics, are active, and desire to help create something great. We require 100% rep with regards to NA Time Zone (7PM EST on) and during raid participation. We also require that you run a build that will provide synergy to the group. A weak link in a party brings down the group and may cause unnecessary wipes or rallies. We aim to avoid this by providing suggested builds that will help the group in the heat of combat. If you have a build that you run that you really enjoy, feel free to hit one of the officials up for approval.
Applicants should meet these requirements:
*TS
*Mic and willingness to use it for calls
*Willingness to follow guild mandated builds or seek approval for your own
*Attend raids/training if online
*Join our forums
PPT? Just for the fights?
We aim to focus on maximizing our fun in WvW on a daily basis. Whether it calls for hunting down pesky enemy groups, or coordinating with other groups to attack garrisons and keeps to bring victory to Dragonbrand. We mix it up to keep each WvW night fresh and fun for all of those involved, however generally speaking we are not a PvD guild – if you enjoy karma training you most likely will not be happy here.
Sweet, how do I get involved?
Just go ahead and visit http://digitalnemesis.enjin.com/ and make an ‘Enjin’ account. From there, head to the recruitment tab and fill out an application. You can also send a mail to Angel.6085.
Anything other than WvW?
While DN is a WvW focused guild, our members have an array of interests outside of that. We have 2 off nights a week where you can do whatever you’d like in game and not be penalized for not being with the guild. We have achievement hunters who are always working on the latest living story or finishing off a collection or world boss, we also have people that enjoy dungeons and people who love to run fractals of different difficulties. Some of our members also dabble in PvP. Although these events are not generally guild scheduled, if you like a mix of PvE and WvW, then DN might be a great fit for you. You’re also completely welcome to rep different guilds during the off hours and off days, if desired- but ideally we want people to be part of our community.
We also run missions once a week on Thursday nights, and usually do a weekly or bi-weekly 50/50 lottery if people are interested in participating, we also currently have a fantasy football line up. Although drafting is now closed, we’re always open to new fun things for members to participate in..
Please feel free to contact Angel.6085 with any questions or information inquiries.

I think the most disappointing part of all of this is how amatuer of an event launch this is. I get it, events are rocky. Typically theres a bug for an event… but those events usually last at least two weeks for the LS… this one is a matter of days.
You guys haven’t released content in how long and you botched this event, on top of the rewards for the events (for those that received them) being completely undervalued. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t think you should be able to roll through it twice and get the highest valued item…. but given the calcluations above by other posters – this is utterly ridiculous.
I don’t even want to touch on the dilemmas about rewarding gem store items for in game content because of the can of worms it potentially opens – but really? I did buy both the scarlet set and the toxic set (gifted the toxic to my husband). I’m not REALLY kittened about it being rewarded in game, but I think it really opens a somewhat ethical dilemma about it. You’re rewarding something for in game time that people paid real money for. I’m not angry that someone else is getting something I paid for – but tread lightly with this concept as you have the potential to seriously kitten some people off if you keep that up.
People buy gem store items mostly because they’re exclusive to the gem store and cannot be obtained in game. I think this has the potential to destroy customer trust – which is something that IMO has been a bit on the shakey side.
(edited by Angel.6085)
Wow, I feel ridiculous. Thanks for pointing that out hahahah
I also have not gotten a WXP in god knows how long. I think this is not ok to silent fix given people paid real money for this… this was my main purpose in buying this item…
At least 1 hour per boost with some over 3 and 5 hours and not one single hit on WXP.
(edited by Angel.6085)
Just allow people with commander tags to salvage siege placed by their side. It wont solve the supply drain but it will prevent siege capping. They could add something that allows Commanders to deposit salvaged siege supplies back into tower/keep cache’s.
Don’t allow sub 25’s to use map chat this takes care of gold sellers for the most part, or whatever level they deem suitable.
A LOT of people have commander tags though.
It wasn’t really a hush hush leak, sorry assumed most of you heard about it.
Heres the dulfy for it. http://dulfy.net/2015/08/27/gw2-getting-raids-with-core-game-being-free/
You might not care if you don’t transfer, who has time for an alt. I’ve gladly paid for transfers many time, as you can see. But seeing as this literally is the only part of the game it applies to anymore, I think it’s unjust.
Oh I completely agree the population will definitely help WvW, my concerns were the two named. :P
With the leaked announcement today from IGN about Guild Wars 2 basic game being free to play in the future, my two questions are:
1.) What is Anet planning on doing from keeping these free accounts from participating in matchup manipulation and server trolling?
2.) Are server transfers going to be free?
The first might sound like an overboard question at first glance but given what we’ve seen in T1 and most recently T2, I have serious concerns about some servers and guilds making entire sets of secondary free accounts to try to swing matchups a certain way. Not necessarily always on the “lets play poorly and make sure our server wins” but also in the sense of trying to bump up a server from a lower tier into a higher tier just to keep matchups fresh.
I really think this announcement means that Anet needs to step up their system for matchups so things aren’t manipulated.
The second question is mainly logistical. With an influx of new players, presumably, it will be harder for guilds to transfer provided that the free accounts are allowed to do WvW (which for the record I believe they should be as it is a part of the game). If a free account can be made and placed on a server, provided open status, then I believe it’s time for transfers to different servers to be free. If half of my guild is able to transfer and the other half can’t because of the rise in overall population, why should those that successfully transferred have to pay twice to keep the guild together?
Server transfer fees, at this point, are unfair discrimination to the WvW community – seeing as it is not necessary for any other part of the game anymore. This needs to be addressed.
If you’re not in a hurry for moving you honestly should wait until after the HoT release. The top 3 tiers are, IMO, in a terrible state of health and I would think twice before moving a guild there – especially if it is the guilds first move.
If you are a single player I would also avoid these tiers for the time being. A lot of things have happened recently in T1/T2 that is causing a trickle down effect of issues.
One being the WvW population thing… it is either not working properly or is just not implemented yet. There was a mass exodous from T2 of guilds (primarily to T3/T4/T5) (24 I believe and counting) and yet the servers are not changing population. One may view this to be that they were stacked to begin with, but for the population not to change at all is just indicative of it not working.
HoT will bring Guild Halls and Guild Halls theoretically will allow guilds to GvG and invite other guilds to GvG in their halls. This would possibly mean a re-balancing of T3 where the GvG guilds currently are, and a re-distribution. This is, of course, speculative and not for certain. T2 is a wasteland at the moment and T1 is still riddled with a lot of internal issues related to interserver politics. If you’re really worried about dead times, check out coveragewars2.com (I believe that’s the address) and check out the server’s high and low times to find a place that ultimately would fit with your desires. But, again I warn you, any transfer made now may need to be made again when HoT hits. The state of WvW and the server’s healths are very much uncertain right now.
I could see making it cross server like EoTM, but only after HoT/Guild Halls. GvG would be really difficult to coordinate there if you had to somehow try to get the same IP for opposing parties. The other points are kind of asinine to me.
Is there a way to differentiate between an Alt+F4 and a power failure or hardware failure though?
For example
-Computers deciding they need to update randomly and force stopping all programs to reboot.
-Brown outs.
-Full on Power outages.
-Network failures in the Modem that don’t result in a time out.
-Software issues
-Fatal errors.
If there is a way for Anet to actually track key strokes (which could be dangerously creeperish) then I could forsee a dishonorable status… but largely I think the concern here is less punishing those who are intentionally bailing out of a fight, and more unintentionally punishing those who didn’t intend to.
I think implementation of something to that degree would end up hurting more people than it would end up punishing the guilty.
I think we don’t need to make WvW more like PvP because not everyone likes PvP. Allowing food in WvW allows for variety to happen. Although many run the same foods, or countering foods, food gives the opportunity to slightly tweak things that otherwise may not be tweakable. Little changes that turn out to be amazing is how metas start shifting and things start getting interesting – when people find those loopholes.
I don’t really see a need for a nerf on the condi +/- mainly because most larger scale groups run these foods and just cancel themselves out. It might pose a problem for roamers, I guess, but all the ones I know run special food for roaming and not zerg/larger group food.
Or they could make it that when you cap a keep/garrison, that when the Champion Keep Lord or Champion Tower Lord has Righteous Indignation, that the keep/tower has a -1000 health / sec degen on any enemy within the confines of said tower/keep, and being invis does not make you immune to this.
This would seriously ruin a lot of really good fights.
I don’t really see why people are so concerned about it. There is a tactic to the stealth mesmer/portaling in etc. If it gets over-abused in HoT with the chronomancer adjustments will be made.
Revealing shots on guards/lords would be pretty sweet though, but most likely would just result in the stealth classes not going near them… either way fine.
The problem isn’t so much that it happens but rather how Anet handles it. We had an old member that returned to the game briefly but no longer cared about the game, our reputation for not being kittening hackers. He was using movement/fly hacks in WvW for one night. Although he did not take any towers, it was an embarassment for that night. He was reported and “banned” for it, but back within literally one day. We had to kick him out of the guild because he thought it was funny.
Slaps on the wrist are ridiculous. Especially when this affects game play, but lude things such as ERP to someone who doesn’t want to be involved in it, or find it offensive, yields up to 7 day bans. Seriously… the hackers should be hit harder than someone who conducted themselves poorly in chat. They should re-implement the Dhuum ban from GW1.
Loot doesn’t drop if they log out… but seriously?
If you’re killing so few people that these one or two bags even matter then you might want to re-evaluate your approach.
I find it more laughable that they even care about that single death enough to waste the time logging back in. It doesn’t save them the death even because they log out in WvW and log in to town dead.
If Anet is actually going to spend any amount of time working on WvW related issues… lets make them count towards something that actually matters.
We miss you too, if you want to come bs let us know
Well glicko wise they will never crack t1 this way, right?
there’s a laundry list of bandwagon servers that failed to move past t2.
the problem here is that due to the HOT lul and the pop changes we are very very stuck with this.
FA and SoS are the only ones paying a price for it.
That’s not true, a lot of people are paying the price.
T2 as a whole is ruined by selfish players who stacked YB. This affects FA, SoS, and YB (because not everyone wanted that). This also affects T1 because the guilds that stacked YB are also present in T1 – more manipulation.
This affects T3 because the mass exodous largely settled in T3. Who says they wanted this? It also remains to be seen what will happen to T3 once HoT hits – as guild halls allow a Non-WvW outlet for GvG. This could (not for sure) cause a collapse in that tier as well. It’s also affecting many tiers down the ladder. A lot of people choose servers to WvW in because of those communities, which are now upset due to all of this garbage. My guild did recently move too, luckily the server we went to was friendly but who says they all want to be invaded by guilds fleeing the cancer in T2 atm?
Also what I’ve said above is in relation to the concept that this is not something Anet perpetrated. I can’t imagine that their incompetence reaches this level. I blame what happened in T2/3/so on on the cancer guilds from T1 that upset the balance. I personally do not feel that the WvW population system is even in effect, or if it is it isn’t working properly. There’s no way that the guilds lost on FA (where I was most recently) didn’t kick us into a lower population, but we were full status and could not transfer anyone in to combat what was going on (and people wanted to come). SoS is lucky in the sense that they can bring people in, and unlucky in that it’s a difficult thing to market right now. I hope that the only casualty is the YB bandwagon and things eventually will go back to normal. But IMO the damage is done and will take a LONG time to repair, if it ever happens. Since anet doesn’t give a flying kitten about WvW.

x2 on the above.
I might have an increased want to actually play PvP if they implemented something like this. Obviously my bore with the “same kitten every time” maps wouldn’t be rectified, but this is a step in the right direction.
Short answer: No.
Long answer: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Best thing I’ve seen here today.
Let me reword this for you, because you’re missing a massive point here:
So if your a veteran of the game, bought GW2 2-3 years ago, pre-purchased the Heart of thorns expansion, you get to pay twice as much and play twice as much as someone just buying heart of thorns. and the same goes for any other expansion where you get to pay 3 times as much and play 3 times as much? so a veteran not only pays twice as much and plays twice as much but all they get is one character slot extra and multiple years of playing the game? You should get at least as many as the now “new” players will get during the next expansion when that is released.
Exactly.
Frankly, only people with more money than brains pre-purchase anything. I have never done that…not for software, not for hardware (reserve your iPhone bullkitten is ridiculous). Essentially you are getting, except for the Gems and the slot, some Barbie-dressup stuff to pretty up your cartoon.
People pre order games, and systems, so they have it at the earliest possible moment. This doesn’t mean we’re stupid, it means we can afford kitten and want kitten now. These are not always good purchases (See god of war 3, final fantasy 13-1, etc) however it is the cost of being a gamer that likes things now. If you want to be more frugal with your money and wait until others have played things that is up to you, but we all don’t want to be the second guy through the game – we want to be the first. ;P
I don’t feel misled, i payed for the Physical C.E at launch and have gotten my moneys worth.
Same, I have two C.E.s at launch and a lot of money in the gemstore. I have never personally once felt misled by Anet. I also have thousands of hours in the game, my husband has comparable time as well.
The only misleading aspect of this, imo, is the way it was originally marketed to NEW players as being not a stand alone and needing the core game to play it. This was the only time they misled. And they rectified that.
This does not affect me as a veteran player, but you must realize Anet uses the term “Veteran” to mean anyone playing before HoT’s release. This is an arbitrary word. If you want something for “veterans” in the true sense of the word, that would be the kittenty birthday gifts et al.
Anyone feelind misled by this, in the context of the OP, is delusional. This, HOWEVER, does not mean that I don’t wish that they did do more to make veteran players feel snazzy. The re-releasing of content and skins that used to achieve this is great for new players, but makes people who grinded kitten out the first time for the prestige feel rather shafted. That is a seperate issue that does NOT belong in the HoT subforum.
Look ArenaNet, I get that you’re in damage control mode and it was a very tactical move. Yet, you’ve still not done the right thing and made the character slot available for any preexisting account. Instead, you do the wrong thing and make it a prepurchase bonus. That’s not a veteran reward and I’m not prepurchasing because of this.
I really hope you guys can learn to listen before making some decisions. Your history says otherwise.
See you later after expasion when the price is cut to what you deem it worthy and then you still have to buy another slot to play revenant bud.
For all you can tell, that can be sooner than you think… by the way you talk I’ll assume you pre-purchased the expansion, I mean you cant even be sure of the content you’ll get, dont even know all the new features that will be implemented IF they get implemented and yet you fed this system with your money.
No one even knows if you get a month worth of content.
I might end up paying more on the official release, but at least I’m paying for a “finished” product that I can see and evaluate. I’m not buying promisses, not here, not in anything in my life.
How can people be so blind and easily manipulated is behond me…
I totally get not wanting to purchase something that you don’t agree with or don’t have the full disclosure of. The “One month” of content is, however, not measurable. Perhaps one person plays 18 hours a day and another plays 10 a week – one month of content for those two players means two very different things.
If you aren’t SURE you’ll get $50 worth of play time out of it, either don’t buy it ever or wait until it’s released. But kittenting on people who know, regardless, that they’ll get that time out of it is counter productive – although I get the sheep style metaphor you’re going for. It’s our money and our decision.
OP Greedy, wants something for nothing – really? Why the hell would they just give you something for no reason? This request has nothing to do with pre purchase.
Ultimate is available online only not physically.
Physical copies are essentially Standard copies, IIRc. You would have to buy two.

100 hours justifies what’s allowed to complain and what isnt?
So when GoW3 released a 7 hour game for $60 that’s acceptable? How many other examples are there?
Imo the people with more than 100 hours are where the true opinions need to be addressed and respected, as these are the people who buy gems (by choice) to support GW and their projects. People who just barely play a game don’t do those things.
The complaining, true, is excessive. I think they have plenty of information now to realize how and where they kittened up here. I am looking forward to seeing if they bother responding in an appropriate way or if they’ll basically say “kitten these guys we aren’t changing anything” or just silently fix it without a word and hope that’s acceptable (which is isn’t).
For what it’s worth, I will be buying the ultimate one. (Just so people don’t make assumptions about where I fall)
Theyll probably all be available except Ultimate, which most likely will not be after release.

This is the best thread about this so far. I hope they take note of it. Although I do plan to buy the ultimate, I think their handling of this is incredibly backhanded and not thought out.

You guys realize that $20 is roughly the cost of any living story. IE one or partial sections of one kittenty map and maybe 3 missions right?
All of you people expecting this for $20 are just not thinking, at all. It’s pretty funny.
I agree the standard should have a character slot. I also expected it to cost $50 and you should have expected it too.
Given that Anet has sold GW for what, $5? in the past, I seriously hope that they drop the price to $44.99 and let the people cry about it.
The Living Story stuff is pretty low value so that doesn’t justify it.
You know what was good value? The base game. 50 bucks for a full game. That’s a reasonable level of value.
Given that they’ve put a lot of effort into maintaining the game all this time, I think most of us are willing to pay a bit more than the value of the expansion but there are limits and I think Anet has exceeded them massively, especially considering that the base game requires some gemstore upgrades to really shine.
I completely agree that the base game was a great value for $50. I paid much more and I’m still happy and enjoying it. That was my choice.
I know the LS was free if you were here, but if you wanted it and you weren’t the total price is in the area of $20, that’s their pricing and it seems logical that the expansion would be where it is now.
I totally agree there should have been a character slot in this. That was Anets only mistake here – IMO.
Also the Gemstore does not have anything that the base game really needs to shine, it’s all prestige. We buy that kitten because it’s pretty and we like shinies.
I was refering to the very restrictive amount of character slots, inventory size, and bank size that the game starts out with. The game is a lot better once you upgrade those.
That’s a fair argument. It is better having the extra space. Not sure how many I’ve bought so I guess I forget how the original bank looked. At least it isn’t pay to win

I never said it was worth it, it’s what should be expected. It’s within typical pricing brackets. And I had two collector editions. Soooo for me it feels proportionally fair ;p

He retracted it, He made a mistake in the details.
This is not illegal.
Totally agree DarkReign, but was that part even brought up in this thread? Like the free content in B2P bit. I’m not sure the expansion is worth the hype versus content, but I’m not going to uninstall over kitten expansion without allowing them the chance to fix and add a character slot. It’s asinine, lol.
I xfer for WvW. But bringing that up, you’ve succeeded at saying literally nothing.
I understand the outrage here, but you seriously gave them zero time to rectify this at all and you have the nerve to call yourself “loyal.” Go home son.
I think a loyal customer would give them more than 35 minutes to correct or gauge the community response before taking their toys and crying home to mommy.
And your four accounts are already paid for, therefore they won’t be missed.
Bye bye now.
Totally agree, I will totally be buying the $100 one but I’d really like a physical box.
[DN] Digital Nemesis is recruiting!
Please feel free to contact Angel.6085 with any questions or information inquiries.
Who is [DN]?
We are a WvW focused guild. We were founded on SoR and moved to TC upon SoR’s fall. We participated in S2 on TC and chose to make the move to Blackgate. After spending some time on Blackgate, and proving ourselves during Season 3, we chose to undertake a T2 move with our good friends [JINX] Bad Lucks Coming to Fort Aspenwood, with the goal of finding better fights and continue to destroy opponents in WvW.
We took pride in running smaller numbers vs the large hordes of the T1 servers, but ultimately our style of play became less and less viable there, so we chose to hop over to T2 to check out this scene. You’ll rarely see us backing down from a fight and we aim to become one of feared fighting guilds on the Fort Aspenwood server. We may be WvW focused, but the overall goal of the guild is have the most fun possible while still maintaining success. We have interests in possibly pursuing GvG in the future, but we are currently focused entirely on WvW and it will always be our top priority.
A weak link in a party helps bring down the group and may cause unnecessary wipes. We aim to avoid this by providing suggested builds that will help the group in the heat of combat. If you have a build that you run that you really enjoy, feel free to hit one of the officials up for approval.
*TS
*Mic and willingness to use it for calls
*Willingness to follow guild mandated builds or seek approval for your own
*Attend training if online
*Join our forums
PPT? Just for the fights? Wtf?
We aim to focus on maximizing our fun in WvW on a daily basis. Whether it calls for hunting down pesky enemy groups, or coordinating with other groups to attack garrisons and keeps to bring victory to Fort Aspenwood.
Although these events are not generally guild scheduled, if you like a mix of PvE and WvW, then DN still might be a great fit for you.
We also run missions once a week on Thursday nights, and usually do a weekly or bi-weekly 50/50 lottery.
Please feel free to contact Angel.6085 with any questions or information inquiries.
Currently we are in need of the following classes:
Warrior
Guardian
Elementalist
Necro
But, if you play another don’t hesitate to drop me a line and chat
