Has ANet ever changed the requirements for an achievement before? If not, I can’t see this being the time they decide to change their minds.

First Wintersday they changed Toypocalypse from 5 Dolyaks to 1.
And Triple Trouble from 25 kegs to 5. Also 2 of the WvW achievements were changed.

Made a discovery today.

I assumed that all the Guild skin weapons were available in PvP, and the Guild Speargun skin would then have been PvP-only. This is not true; none of the Guild weapons or weapon skins were ever available in PvP, as best I can tell. There are no equivalent weapons with the same skins and PvP-only tags in the API.

This means the Guild Speargun is not a PvP-only skin. Its consumable is missing from the Guild Weapon merchant. It SHOULD be available.

Thinking about it, it even makes sense. You were never able to use skins on PvP gear and the guild weapons always came as applicable skins. Looks like they simply forgot to add “Guild Speargun” ([&AgE3TAAA]) to the vendor…

Other than that, the list remains unchanged once again…

Good to see I’m not the only one. Luckily those skins are awarded at 28k+ AP, so not to many people will have them anytime soon.

Don’t destroy them. Separate the 4 and create a new stack in your inventory. Then drag the old ones on the new stack to make all 4 chests unbound. Then sell them on TP for 30g each^^

Sadly the new patch didn’t bring any changes (at least no changes I can check)

Alternatively you could make a new reward track and as final reward offer a “Box of lost weapons” (choice of one of the old PvP exclusive weapons). That way up to 16 skins would find their way back to the game…

The final two cutscenes were awesome… now, can you please add a “replay cutscene” button to the story journal?

Check for the flag “HideIfLocked”. The Glorious Hero Armor is also hidden

Aetherblade armor is not hidden. The wiki has a list of the hidden ones, mostly old skins (like sunglasses, bunny ears) or ones currently unavailable (green quaggan back, moto back, etc)

While they’re at it, Royal Terrace is still missing an Activity NPC and a Black Lion Armor and Weapon NPC

not a charr specific problem, eternal sands has a different angle after every loading screen…

This bug is several months old and affects many skins. You cannot use the dye that is used if you use “dye remover” on those pieces. (e.g. you can’t use Dust Dye on Human Heavy T3)

The bug is much older than that.
The strangest part is that it is a PvE/WvW only bug. It works fine in sPvP(or at least in the sPvP lobby).

interesting… so only eles created pre april feature patch and only in pve and wvw are affected by this bug…

Thats what I did too If you want I can search the screen I took when binding Eternity, It unlocked all all three legendary GS skins.

Dark Moon Shield was PvP exclusive and is no longer obtainable

1) Five skins are unlocked: Eternity, Sunrise, Twilight, Dusk (Naegling) and Dawn (Khrysaor)
2) Counts as 1 for the Achievement

The skins need to be unlocked in your wardrobe.
Right-click and add them to the wardrobe

Forgot to mention, last patch fixed the missing text on old backpieces
But as far as I can tell, this patch changed nothing

Winter’s Wonderland: Requires 75 successes. Depends on skill I guess, but I note that the puzzle has a lot of artificial “wait for other players” delays. It’s buggy this year with fall damage and the “somebody has to die so the gifts reset” bug returns. I estimate it will take me 9 hours to finish.

Took me 4-5hrs to get it maxed

+1… saddens me that this cool item lost its use because its a non combat tonic… Please change it into an Outfit or skin

each one costs 25 badges…

With the pass being on sale again I’d like to bring this thread back up. Can we please get the Airship NPC’s that are not in the Terrace (Activity & Black Lion Weapons)

The Tribal armor set and other armor sets that were sPvP-exclusive will be obtainable again at some point in the future. There is no ETA as to when this will happen.

Will you also bring back/introduce the PvP exclusive weapons?

Both unranked and ranked are not working if two or more try to Q. SoloQing works in both

The Ascended Items rewarded for doing every achievement can not be purchased anywhere if you want to have them multiple times. The ones rewarded from EP5-7 can be purchased at the Bandit Crest Vendor in SW after completing the achievements.

More than just the Tribal set is missing, I believe there are 2 other armor sets that are no longer obtainable (I don’t remember the names off the top of my head though), and several weapons such as the Dark Moon Shield.

Another to add to the list of removed Gem Store items is the Boxing Gloves.

Boxing Gloves are a toy and no skin. They function like the Mad King Scepter and the other Costume Brawl Toys, you equip them from your inventory.
