This would actually be an interesting system if it could work technically. If you could choose for each armor piece then people would be able to make all sorts of weird and wonderful combinations!
I’m sure it would be quite a lot of work though, so if it was ever to happen, i’d expect it to be in a ‘feature pack’ style release.
This would be great, not just for screenshots, but general vision, I feel like I stare at the ground too much, and only look up to see the scenery every so often.

Atm it looks a lot of other players are just ignoring you or are not listening, but in the EU, the chat filter is also to blame there. Being able to whisper everyone is the only way to communicate to them. please do not shut that off before there is a good solution for this problem. I agree those whispers from gold sellers are really annoying but this needs a better solution.
I agree there’s more work to do done on chat, but that’s somewhat separate to this suggestion. Having a ‘visible to guild’ option seems a good idea, as does finding a better solution to EU language/chat filters.
I think the armour (for humans/norn) is pretty balanced at the moment. I’d like to see that balance continue.
The issue of Charr/Asura armor and Male skimpy armor are somewhat separate discusssions, but from the poll and comments the conclusion seems to be that really we would all just like to see more diverse armor designs.
It’s not what we want. It’s weather Anet will make more money from it.
Anet might make more money from selling 1 time transmuation charge or 1 time hair contract than give us permanent ones for 2000 gems.
I don’t understand why people keep suggesting ways in which Arenanet, a for profit company, should make less money. It is like they never ever think through it. It is like Arenanet exist to self their needs and NOT make money.
Yes the purpose of the Gem store is to make money, but I think it would be silly for Anet to write off any suggested item that might seem to reduce profit. They have to strike a balance between keeping the core players happy, (and playing the game) and encouraging players to part with gold/gems. There is a reason most businesses have some sort of rewards system or discounts for loyal customers – these are the customers they make the most money from.
The people likely to buy an everlasting transmutation charge are exactly the sort of people who will regularly buy outfits/armor/skins in the gem store, so i think it would pay to keep them happy.
Recipes should be account bound even if crafting profession is not. You could level up your characters with the crafting but at least have access to all the recipes you have encountered on your travels. You will still have to level up to be able use those recipes.
Are recipes not account bound at the moment? If not I’ve made the wrong assumption! I’ve been buying the recipes from Karma merchants on my main for all the crafting disciplines as the items say they are account bound. If the recipe only unlock for the character that consumes it then that’s a disappointment, I thought it’s unlock the recipe for all chars on my account.
does it take into account level differences? I got two Exotics for map completing a zone yesterday which i have no use for, and are lvl 70.
Wondering if I can put them in others and get a lvl 80 exotic out, or whether to just TP them.
Scaling rewards by player level could work, but as Rezz pointed out, the hearts do give Karma, and access to the Karma merchants.
The same model could be adopted as the Daily reward to scale the coin to player level, but I suspect the worry would be further inflation.
