Unfortunately Elementalist bugs are not fixed, even when a patch says they are. Bugs are only ever added to the now 100+ list.

Yep. As it stands there is very little point in going to this zone. Which is a shame, because it looks so good.

When I can find more loot in 5 mins of running with a Grenth pack, than I can in 3 hours of grinding this island with an ally, you know something is broken.

Like Shintai said, it counts your SPvP set as well. They really need to change this.

Yeah, the interface makes it look like you need karma, when it is actually supply and $$ you need. Only the highest level upgrades need karma.

With the exception of 2-3 SOS guys earlier on…I’ve not seen ANY chest thumping from these guys. If we lose to them, it’s a honorable loss and we shake hands and line up to fight again. BG guys still complaining on this thread, please focus on your tier. You had 3 weeks in T-1 to fight and win and you are now in T-2. There is NO excuse, no reason, and no imaginary alliance to get you out of T-1…you just weren’t ready. Let it go, enjoy the fights there and move on please.

BG is outplaying us in Tier 2 with superior tactics and better players. Much respect to them…..

Is it related to zones being queued, and someone taking your place when you zone? Seemed that way for me when I got stuck in a Lost Shores queue, and the multiple times I got stuck loading into the Eternal Battleground jumping puzzle.

Something is very wrong with the droprate in the new zone. Is it possible for you to look into the loot table and the droprate percentages? Also check to see if MF is working here, please. This zone must be bugged for it to be this bad.

As for Karka, they are animals, not capable of diplomacy, so we couldn’t negotiate with them. We had to take care of the threat, and without their leader (I assume the Ancient Karka was that), Lion Arch is safe, for now.

Charr committed genocide right back at them, and how did that work out?

As for the Karka, we sure taught them for their arrogance in thinking that island was theirs!

Too true, My raptr page report says I’ve been playing Guild Wars 2 for over 800 hours, in that time I’ve levelled 4 80s and geared them out, attained master crafter title and two world 100%s, however in terms of gold, I have yet to break the 50g barrier.

Reasons, #1 I hate playing markets in order to earn gold. This is an MMO, not a spreadsheet financial simulator. #2 RNG and #3 RNG hates me and finally #4 I’m not lucky.

And as the OP mentioned, exploiting the overflow server to repeat the events is and should be a bannable offense. There was even a few posts (which got deleted) about how to even do it yesterday.

Those posts yesterday were for people who wanted to do the event, AT ALL. The community came together and helped each other compensate for Anet’s shortcoming, and you insult them like that? If not for those threads, I, and many others, would have been unable to even get the chest once. And you even have the gall to call it an ‘exploit’?

Anet fail to comprehend the relationship between toughness and Health, which means Vitality is a zillion times more powerful for Elementalists.

I use a Sceptre and Focus for the new island in PvE. Reflect the young casca’s missiles with Magnetic Wave, and bleed with Obsidian Shards.

For WvWvW I see elementalist commanders (my server is Sea of Sorrows) using the focus due to the massive utility/survivability. You can set up siege very quickly under Swirling Winds, and you can even disentegrate Treb shots with it.

Air 1 damage is ABYSMAL and needs serious work from Anet.
Fire 1 also needs more up-front damage.
Earth 1 is the strongest, but needs to fire a bit faster (like most elementalist spells).
Water 1 is great for spamming homing blasts to tag everything, and probably out-damages the horrible air 1 with the right set-up.

That is not an exploit.

It took everything I had just to manage to last through the event ONCE, with the waypoint loading screen freezes, and the disconnects. 5 minutes after I finally managed to get the chest, Anet nuked the servers.

It was not a physical change, but one of mentality. We changed from heroes with a just cause, to villains who provoke a species, and then exterminate them. Genocide is all we are good for now.

My server can top yours. We just killed the ancient and had to suffer the cinematic end, and with 6 seconds left on the reboot timer. Needless to say, we ran to the chest and bam, booted before we could get there.

I believe One With Air only works if you are not using a Signet of Air.

5/6 power/toughness/vitality pieces are from the Arah karma vendors.

More bugs added, old ones not fixed. I could say I am surprised, but that would be a lie.
