Burning Precision – this needs a rework. Change it to 30% chance on HIT to inflict a 2 second burn. 4 second cooldown. Unlinking it from precision is vital, so Elementalists can use Dire gear and this trait.
Blasting Staff is basically required for Staff. And Sceptre still fails to deliver a viable condition build, like all Ele weapons.

If you know Soothing Wave is ‘100% useless’, THEN FIX IT! Fix every single useless trait ASAP. No one cares if you ‘change too much’ if you are actually bloody fixing the useless traits!
Everyone is also correct, in that Arcane 10 points will be rubbish unless you are using a staff. The sceptre and dagger traits are horrendous, right up there with Soothing Wave, Flame Barrier, Zephyr’s Speed and Arcane Precision.
You should not take smooth penguin seriously, btw. He is either a really dedicated troll, or is married to the Anet founder’s daughter.
As for the topic, yes, they need to kill the RNG precursors. And you cannot say ‘you choose to grind wah wah’ when absolutely everything is a grind.

Elementalist with auras traited correctly with signets have full up time on protection …amongst other benefits.
They also have a completely unviable build.
Thieves have many different forms of evasion, blind, and repositions – that’s why their health is low.
Guardians/Elementalists have access to many, many different skills with protection or block or regen – that’s why their health is low.
Uh, yes, I get that. It doesn’t change anything. The difference in utility does not fully compensate for the difference in defense. Due to that, warriors (and guardians because much of their defense is passively generated) have much higher skill floors than Thieves and Elementalists. The former two are dramatically easier to steamroll through content with than the latter two are because they can just stand there and tank everything.
I’m not saying that Thieves and Elementalists should be able to do it as well as they can, I’m just saying the gap should be smaller.
Again, you will have to take some pretty big nerfs more than likely for any HP increases. So be careful what you wish for.
Warriors have for all intents and purposes no access to protection, little access to vigor, and 1(?) blind. Their heal skill, HP pool, and possibly adrenal, is all that keeps them alive.
Yes, warriors do not have condition cleanses, heavy armour, stability, the greatest mobility, zillions of heals, and a plethora of crowd control.

Guardians having a lower health pool makes their heals give “more bang for their buck” because they have a lot of small heals, which means they heal for a large® % of total health than if you were to have a higher health pool, like 20k. Additionally, Guardians have a lot of damage mitigation through blocks, reflects, blinds, regeneration, AoE healing, etc.
Elementalist have a lot of damage mitigation through the use of Cantrips and also a lot of mobility through the use of utility and weapon skills.
Thieves have access to blinds, stealth, projectile destruction.
This is not including the fact that all of these (and others) have access to stuns and dazes.
Sure, there’s a gap, but it isn’t a gamebreaking gap. If it didn’t exist, I’m quite sure the PvP would be a lot less intense, especially if the high health users were brought down.

The only money I’d be making from champ farming is the coin from boxes as I need everything else. I salvage all blues & greens for luck, salvage all rare and exotics for ecto/DM and need all materials for crafting + saving for legendary.
So at the end, I barely make much money from champ farming.

There’s very little attrition in the EU leagues. It also has a very compressed time of play. NA tends to be more spread out around the clock., including multiple time zones within NA itself.
Many of the top GvG guild went to silver league to avoid the queues, but that movement attracted a lot of players in addition, that’s why there’s queues in silver league as well.

Fair means everyone gets equal treatment (or as close as you can get with 7 weeks of matches).
You did not even attempt to give fair draws AND you did not even attempt to balance out red/blue/green starting positions. Was the 10 minutes it would take too much for you?
For example, JQQ has an easier draw and is green all seven weeks.

Music is much quieter now. Even on max level, it is far quieter than battle sounds. It also fails to activate or cuts off.
