Gotta say i love you can actually grab 5 more supply when you have 10 now.
I hated for a long time but SoS is where its at for WvW. Ive traveled around and while many servers claim to have a positive wvw community only on SoS have i found it to be true. You can wvw on any server you chose ,but if your looking for that part of something bigger feeling, where your working toward a goal with a whole server then get your butts to SoS before the 28th.
Limit portals to 5 people. Problem solved.
The people in that Mesmer’s party.. Still useful for moving teams around. All it means is for a zerg to move around they will need more mesmers and if they are committed enough to run around 10 mesmers simply for portals then good on them
Idk i mean then you have to be in the mesmers party which is kinda lame.
As much as all you JP mesmers are gonna hate to hear this a fix for wvw and pve to all other “teleport” ability was put in back in beta. All the other abilitys that instantly change your location Will Not Go through Walls or Over Gaps. Thieves Shortbow 5 is a good example of this.
Should 1 and only 1 class have 1 non-ult ability that makes walls/gate useless? I think not. Portal turns 1 lone hacker into an all star for their team.
Its a game and about having fun. How fun is it every time you take a Keep/castle that 10+ players to be forced to spend 15-20 minutes it would take to sweep all the hiding spots 1 player can hide in(including enough time to counter mesmers stealth ability’s.) Anyone who says its not that hard to find messmers come to T1 and try and do less. You’ll watch your keeps turn back and be made a fool of when you claim cheats.
Anet could spend months and months of developer time closing all the wall hacks/climbs. Then spend more time writing better anti hack code. Then hope and pray they found all their holes to fix this one classes over powered ability. Or just adjust/change/nerf portal in one of the many ways that have been already suggested.
Thank goodness sports teams/organizations don’t use the Glicko rating system. Imagine if you always got to watch the same two football/basketball/baseball/soccer teams playing every single time. Wouldn’t that be exciting. hehe
Look its not even remotely the same. Its a 3 way not a 2 way. Now if there were say 3 basketball teams and another hoop at half court for the third team……..
It amazes me that no one knows the math we all play for every week or none are willing to share.

Structure/camp holdings account for around 3/4 of total score these always scored on the TICK
1/4 or about 150k is coming from other sources
Once killed/captured flags give 1 point
Escorting/killing yaks give ?? points
I wish someone from Anet could end this speculation. Gambling with out knowing the rules of the game FTL.

Ok so they have explained wvw rankings. So how do you get those scores? We all understand PPT and we also all know there a lot more points to get/lose besides the ones listed. Ive heard some guilds have figured it out but are not telling.
What is the exact formula?
player kills 1?
flags 1?
Yak escort 3?
yak murder 1?
Champions killed 5? (guild claimers or events)
Vet events killed 1?
Anything else? My values are of course pure speculation. Some say all can scale, as in it would be 1point per 2 people escorting yaks up to 3 max for example. I’m just tired of the mystery. Tell me please.none of those things contribute to score. your score is completely determined by potential points, which are tallied after every interval. these are holding camps, towers, keeps, and stonemist.
