When you are exploring low level areas As mentioned gather every node you see. Whether you wish to craft or not those lower level materials are worth a lot of money on the trader. An example is Chili Peppers. Found in the low level areas throughout ascalon (among others). Chili peppers sell for 4-5 silver each as this afternoon. Not every herb node produces them, but at a low level if you sell 2 or 3 of them you’ve paid for your level 10 training book. That’s only one example.

Also if you gained the food buff from a tray or feasts it lasts 60 minutes.

My favorite was the Centaur champion Warlord in Harathi hinterlands. I ran up and popped the gift next to him. Princess dolls kicked his but and his allies. Myself and another thief finished him off. I really wish I had fired up Fraps for it though.

It was Epic Lolz

I had two drops yesterday just bopping around in Harathi for the Ulgoth chain and also doing the The sunless and The shatterer. No sure which ones I gained the Dyes at, But considering I was only on for maybe 2 hours. Not too bad.

why few people use food or potion buffs?

Greetings. Is there a logical reason why Whenever I explore either alone or in groups or as part of a zerg 80-90% of the people don’t have any food or potion buff up?

The stuff costs pennies on the trader, literally. Even folks who are not max level never seem to use either buff despite the XP bonuses.

I’ve taken to dropping 3 or 4 trays of various flavors when taking part in Dragon events or big regional chains (e.g. Ulgoth Modnir boss). Even then only about half the people bother to take free food.
