Buy a RED camera. Point it at the screen. That should handle up to 150 FPS at 4K resolution. Though how much of an audience you’ll have for video game footage at that resolution in 2015/2016 is questionable. I suppose you could archive it till bandwidth and monitor quality catch up in common use.

Works fine in PVE so far. Only times I’ve had trouble were in the big events when there’s a ton of players in the same spot. Granted I do not run with all the bells and whistles turned on so YMMV.

WvWvW is usually smooth except when Zergs collide. So I mostly stick with small Havoc zergs 10-20 people and do a lot of “militia” things upgrade camps and towers, escort yaks, take out Sentinels, assist solo roamers etc.

I’ve been a gamer long enough I don’t pre-order anything. I don’t do betas either and that’s usually the only real selling point of pre-orders.

I’ve only done EotM once for a few minutes, but I do like the supplies it drops for us. I say keep it as is. a good place for folks to level up and it brings in supply.

I spend a lot of time in Field of ruins and Lornar’s peak and see nodes for onions all the time when I’m hitting event chains and gathering grapes at the farms in those two zones.

Looking at Astral Projections’ link I can confirm both the two maps I mentioned and also in Harathi in the camp you defend from centaurs and launch from for the ulgoth event there are often 1 or 2 onion nodes. I have never seen an instance when that didn’t have at least 1 onion node.

I would second Cloud Fly. He’s awesome fun to follow. And makes it easy for people who only follow map chat to follow.

I also used to have a great time following Wok for a living. he tipped the balance a number times even with a scrub like me following.

I can’t say what ’best" is really, but I can tell you what I liked.

PvE Thief :Maneuverable , moderately Crunchy. Fun to watch and can usually run away when needed.

PvP: I have maybe 5 minutes in PvP so no real answer for you

WvWvW: Hands down most fun I’ve had was with my Engineer. Though my Mesmer was a close second. Mesmers are often sought after to help move Zergs along that are bringing some Golems to play with. Also they are good at Dolyak escorts, which are an important mission for any team hoping to hold a map. My Engineer Is a turret spec which is annoying for other people, but handy in small groups. Heck even in big groups dropping a supply bundle can make a difference. Other folks like Flame throwers which are also nice for cleaning up the riff raff.

Glad you posted this. I had no idea they’d added some new back ground music. I’ve been using the custom playlist feature for exploring and combat for almost a year.

as A thief who’s 95% PvE I use shadowstep all the time. It breaks enemy root skills

Most days my thief Batdogi Smells like dank leathers that haven’t been washed in a week, are covered with blood stains and probably a fair bit of B.O. (minus the B.O. if she’s recently been in Lornar’s peak where she often goes for a swim to look for dwarven artifacts).

On fridays she’s just as likely to smell of various baked good such as peach pies, Rare veggie Pizza, or omnomberry tarts.

3)mine? BBQ chicken, Batdogi’s? Veggie
4)Batdogi is more likely to look at a dog as an emergency food source. Myself I like all Dogs from the boston terrier size on up. Used to have A Boston AND a German Shepherd when I was a kid.
5) Myself Humanities, but recognize Maths are important. Batdogi would likely go with Maths(being thief ya know)

basically I’d say wait a few days or however often AVG cycles updates. Then either try launching again or if that fails download and install GW2 fresh after AVG has had an update or so. Free anti-viruses take some time to clear false positive from their databases In my experience.

At least guild wars offers the chance to dump the remainders into game gold. I know a few folks back in the day who’d get stuck with 45 microsoft points and there was nothing they could do with it except write it off.

With longevity active markets become more efficient.

Basically the longer people play the TP, the more they learn about discovering the “right” price for the items they are trading.

More people playing the trade post increases the odds that a given item is followed by multiple people, meaning any gap in price has been narrowed.

In this example 4 gold was Not the true price people were willing to buy at over an extended period.

for general in town, zone exploring and such I built a playlist from Taylor Davis renditions of classic video game music on the violin.

In combat I made a playlist of mostly Celtic punk. Bollox, Pogues, Dropkick Murphies.

I listened to the built in music for a while, but got a bit bored with it after the first 6 months. It’s about time I changed up my current playlists now.

Another reason to get the trilogy and Eye of the north is you will have more access to heroes. and classes. Prophesies can a bit drawn out to play through, though still fun(and pre-seering is something everyone should experience). I found Factions the most fast paced of the three and the most fun, but that varies from person to person. Nightfall I enjoyed the least, but it does include some solid play style additions.

For PvE it doesn’t matter much anymore. For WvWvW I know Jade Quarry has a strong SEA community.

The healing Is limited by the level of the food and your effective level. If you are in a level 60 zone you’ll only get the effect of the level 60 food whether you ate the level 80 food or the level 60 food.

If you are in a level 60 zone and ate level 40 food you still only get level 40 heals.

the HoT foods heal based on your effective level. e.g. at 80 If i recall you heal 85 per tick, in highish level areas you may see a heal proc of ~64. In a mid level area ~48. Mango pie is level 80 and costs about 30 copper each, Peach pie is level 75 and costs like 3 copper each, Glazed pumpkin pie is level 60 heals over time and lasts for 45 minutes and gives +15% XP for kills.

have you tried going back to the earlier driver? Newer isn’t always better with drivers. I think the previous stable version was 335.23

I think a reason the exotics between 75 and 79 are cheaper than level 80m exotics is a significant demand exists from people not playing the forge. At least when I level a character I don’t equip them with exotics higher than 70 till I hit 80. PvE (outside of dungeons) doesn’t make much difference about gear in that range.

So that may explain the price gap between level 80 exotics and not quite level 80 exotics.

No. All character of the same class have the same basic skills available to them. Race doesn’t matter except for cosmetic reasons…and choice of one elite skill later on

rare veggie pizza sells for a decent, but unprofitable amount. Usually I drop trays of various sorts before guild missions and guild rush(usually health regen there), but I make them myself. I also used to drop trays of health regen before Ulgoth when folks used that event chain for leveling. Sometimes I drop a couple in front of the bank (formerly in LA, now at vigil)

The few (read 2) left handed gamers I know usually map WASD to the num pad. Also as mentioned Razer makes some good left handed mice and the boomslang series is built for either handedness peoples.

My new preferred option is Ebonhawke. Crafting, banks, Trade post all in a convenient small area. The only thing lacking is a mystic toilet, but I use that rarely so not a problem for me.

It may just be the timing of New York’s implementing this recent decision. I could see them setting a start date of April 1st. Maybe that is their fiscal year beginning. No idea why it took till the 3rd to get added though.

I look at it as a return to Guild wars 1 server type. There was only one server for each geographic region. Overflows were sometimes created, but as far as I remember everyone was really on just one functional server within their region

every time I’ve bought gold with paypal from the BLTC it takes way less than 10 minutes. And 800 gems make you about 32 gold. So you only have to drop $10 every 3 days.

nothing says UNID dyes disappearing from drops will be permanent. They may just wait till the new excess inventory clears then turn them back on.

If they rebuild it I hope it involves players gathering resources(Lumber, metal maybe some alchemical thing to make concrete) to do so. But I’d also be alright with it coming back habitable, but lacking some or many of the amenities it used to have.

Best bet is to check in the early hours server time. Probably middle of the week at 3AM or so server time may give a chance of not being full. I can’t speak for the rest of the planet, but here in the U.S. many schools are on spring break and it’s likely to be pretty full for a few weeks.

There are often people in the major cities of GW1 Asking in chat for help on mission may get you some assistance. I basically only log in to update my hall of monuments and play with my guild message.
