We aren’t specifically a JP guild, but we are a fun PvX guild based on Tarnished Coast. I founded Dragon Empire Alliance in Q2 2014 and we focus on building relationships and tackling all areas of the game. In two weeks we’ll be hosting a guild event that you might be interested in. We’ll be embarking on a journey by foot to tack down 1/3 of the diving goggle locations. We’ve done this before and it’s always a blast. Would love to have you come try us out.

My name Josh, I used to run WvW with a hardcore guild last winter for 6 months. After getting burnt out I took a break from WvW and founded a PvX guild, Dragon Empire Alliance. We’ve built a very close community, with around 75 members and recently we started running WvW raids 2-3 nights a week. We have several veterans but are looking for more. For the time being we’ll be roaming with 10-15 man groups and once everyone is more seasoned we’ll dive into larger group fights. I’d love to have you check us out.

Check out Dragon Empire Alliance, it’s a tight knit PvX guild that I run on Tarnished Coast. We are extremely well known for being skilled, personal and enjoying the game. We have a strong system in place to make sure new members feel at home, and if you ask any of my veteran members they’ll tell you the reason they’ve stayed is because of how well we treat new members and how easy it was for them to make new friends.

We are a medium sized guild and plan to stay that way. Our goal is to have enough players in the guild that you always have people to play with, but not so much that you get lost. We have four weekly guild events at 9pm EST and use mumble, the guild is most active between 8pm-midnight EST.

Joking aside, other than being on a different server, I think we’d be a great match for you. We have a medium sized PvX guild, very close knit. One of our core values is that this is a game to be enjoyed, so we play semi competitively but with super relaxed attitudes and real life always comes first. We also just started running WvW, we have a handful of veteran wvw members that are taking newer members out twice a week to have fun and teach them the ropes. I totally agree with Beorn, whenever you see players LFG it’s a search in their threads to see if they’re NA or EU.

Also what type of guild they’re looking for etc.

Maybe even split that into a list of existing guilds and a list where people can thread LF guild?

Previously threads were split into ‘guild looking for more’ and ‘player looking for guild’. It was orderly, but I haven’t minded putting them all into this one. It hasn’t been as bad I though it was gonna be. But combining LFG, GLF, WvW and PvP has been too much, so that’s why im wondering if just splitting NA/EU would be a good middle ground.

Hey Fragile, I run a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast. Currently our event times are at 9pm EST (when most of us are online) and right now we are technically on the hunt for veteran WvW players, but we’re always welcome to new players, feel free to check us out.

My only suggestion would be splitting it up into two sub-forums: EU and NA.

Having them all in one place was frustrating at first, but it has panned out. I’ve enjoyed only have one place to go to see the new LFG/GLFs, it feels more active and everyone get’s more exposure.

But under no circumstance can NA and EU even play together, so separate them please.

In my opinion, few people will look past the first page when looking for a player/group, so everyone has to bump way more often. Previously you could bump and stay up front for at least 2 days. Now it’s less than a day, and it’s primarily because NA bumps during their primetime, and then EU bumps during theirs, and we keep pushing each other to the 2nd and 3rd pages.

During the old system, one bump would bring in ~25 views. After the switch, one bump brought in ~10 views… but that number has been climbing back to 25. Which tells me people are adapting and it is still working. The issue just boils down to bumping twice as often.

So it’s working decently, but NA and EU have no reason to be in the same forum.

I run a PvX guild, Dragon Empire Alliance on Tarnished Coast. We have 75 members, 4 weekly events, use mumble and are very tight knit. We run weekly fotm, dungeons, missions, and WvW. We have many that also run world bosses and we also spawn Tequatl from time to time. Typically we have ~12-20 online during NA primteimes (all events start at 9pm EST). Recently we started roaming in WvW, we have many vets but we are going over basics and plan to run 2 nights a week with a casual attitude and we are in desperate need of a Mesmer or two.

Now I know you are on GoM, but we’d still love to have you try us out. We can run all PvE together due to the mega server, and in the future we could help you transfer should you want to start running WvW with us.

I run a medium sized, tight knit PvX guild, Dragon Empire Alliance on Tarnished Coast. We have many veteran and newer players and we do content across the board. As far as Dungeons and Fractals goes we officially run them 1-2 nights a week for the whole guild. Usually the veteran members will blow through some paths and I’ll pick up the newer players to teach them the ropes. Throughout the week veterans will usually run pick ups with each other as well

As far as fractals specifically, one of my veteran officers is rank 50 and all he wants to do is level 50 fractals every day. He has currently been helping our other vets work up to level 50 so we can run consistently with him. About 10 of our vets are rank 30+ and moving up, with a handful of them already having 60ish AR.

I’m going to be forward with you on this too. I’m also a vet and desire a pure veteran guild for speed dungeons and fractals, pvp and wvw, but the fact is, many vets are straying and taking breaks due to boredom. So a veteran guild quickly becomes stale and inactive. So from a guild leaders perspective, we have to keep the roster active and lively by recruiting new players and training them up, it’s just the trade off. So as far as DEA goes I’d love to have you and our seasoned fractal runners would love you too, but to a degree we will always have newer players, but I personally try to work with them so my vets can do what they enjoy most.

We do have several member from other servers, so that’s not too big of a deal, but we are a tight knit guild so we are looking for players that want to consider us their home/main guild and have an 85% rep requirement.

Check out Dragon Empire Alliance, it’s a veteran PvX guild that I run and we just started running roaming raids 2-3 nights a week. We have a handful of WvW veterans, including myself, but we are in great need of more, especially good thieves and mesmers. For now we are coaching some basics for those that are newer, and plan to move into havoc/zerg busting/guerrilla tactics as soon as possible.

We are on Tarnished Coast, use mumble, scheduled raids are on Wed, Fri, Sat @ 9pm EST. Usually a handful of us hop in every day.

Hey Sulecen, check out Dragon Empire Alliance. It’s a tight knit PvX guild on TC that I lead. Recently we started gearing up to develop a wvw crew, and most of those are also interested in PvP. I’m a huge fan of it and play several sets a week.
