My only issue is that they take 5x longer to fill up than PvP ones. I was sad to see 75% of people thought they were good ‘as is’.

We’re now looking for more players interested in serious WvW and raiding 2-4 nights a week.

If character A has completed the entire story up to the xpac, can I use character B to continue it? Example, can I make a rev and hop right into the storyline?

I run a PvX guild that is pretty similar to the atmosphere you are looking for. We are an active medium sized guild that has a hard cap on how large well get just to make sure the community stays tight knit. Right now we have 70 with 20 online in the evenings and scheduled events through out the week with TS3. We also have a guild forum and private Facebook group that allows us to become more like a family. Let me know if you and your friends are interest in trying us out.

Do y’all have any solid plans for raids yet?

Raid nights will be Wednesday at 9pm est with an optional makeup/second raid on Saturday nights.

For now we’ll be enjoying Halloween and once raids come out we want to do our first one completely blind going in. After that we’ll start working on comps and pre sign ups for spots. Should have enough for 1-2 raid groups each night. Main rewards are only once per week so we don’t plan to have more than two nights. We have an ex wow raid leader that wants to help organize and lead.

Well also be dropping our dungeon night for a fractal night on Thursdays. Have a handful at 50 and more on the way.

Khan! If I remember correctly you were in my guild a while back, Dragon Empire Alliance (you rocked the charr thief with the rubicon hat I believe?). Forgive me if I’m in correct with that. Either way, we’re still quite active and our current focus lines up pretty well with what you’ve posed. Most of our members are college aged, couples or parents. We’re on TC and will be focusing on FotM/Raids with a hint of WvW/PvP/RP when HoT goes live (we’ve got a handful at 50 and more on the way). We have a forum, TS3 and private facebook group.

I’m probably one of the few that is pretty pumped about the changes. WvW is going to be different, we truly can’t critique it until we’ve played it for a while.

Yes, we can speculate, but that will only get you so far. Between the new map, elite specializations, new guild functions… WvW is going to feel like a whole new game. I’m sure people will be grumpy, change is always hard. Just look at it as if this were launch day all over again.

It’s been discussed many times over the past week or two. If you send in a ticket to support you’ll get the same response we all have. It’s a large issue that they are aware of and working on. Nothing else you can do.

Yes it’s upsetting.

They have not commented at all, so you have no clue what they are running into on their end. 1) I’m sure they know of the issue 2) I’m sure they know how upsetting it is for players (they are also gamers too). 3) I’m sure they are working on the issue.

It sucks for many people. Typically anet doesn’t take the time to update us every day because they are actively working on fixing the problem. We’ve had many bugs recently that never get a formal discussion about, but we see an update with a fix.

If anyone truly does care about the game and the community, focus on the big picture and the long haul. Getting really upset over a short term issue, making threats or raging has never helped an issue, it only shows how self centered a player is.

Respect, facts and truthful honest are some of the best things to help resolve an issue.

No clue, there are already multiple threads about it as well as reddit posts. Many have the same issue, it started with the patch last week, anet has lots of bugs they are working on and I’m sure are working on it.

Most hardcore guilds recruit inside of WvW or on their own server forum. You won’t find many here on the official forum.

Yar, Some of the invites were sent to folks that have already applied and joined meh guild

I do think being proactive and taking initiative is a good thing, but chatting with them before hand will save you headache in the long haul.

Awesome looking guild though. May your ranks be filled and your coffers overflowing!

Of 12 new members, 4 haven’t been able to use guild chat. We’ve tried many fixes with no luck.

Reddit users are also having the same issue.

Dragon Empire Alliance is pretty close to what you’re looking for. We do focus on end game content and are good about coaching mechanics. We are very active and social and do have a 95% rep requirement bc we are looking for members to consider us their main guild, but we realize everyone has alt guilds for some reason or another.

We are on TC, so for the time being you can run PvE and PvP with us while you try us out. Transferring is always an option down the road if you’d like to WvW with us.
