XD Oops, well, ok, omnomberry bars are not a profit then.
While not really a crafting thing, you could always try salvaging rares/selling rares. Could also try making exotics in the mystic forge. I recently sold two exotics that I got from the forge for close to 10g (The Silence, which sold in a couple days for I think around 4 gold, and Coldsnap, which was on the market for like 2 weeks but sold for 5 and a half gold). I might have been able to make more by just selling the yellows I put in, but I have probably made at least 30-40 gold off of the mystic forge exotics that I have sold.
:(. Woops, didn’t know they were that expensive.
I am no expert on this, but omnomberry bars are worth close to 4s each on the market right now. Think it only takes one omnomberry plus some other materials to make a bar, so if you can farm omnomberries (or if the ingredients are cheap enough on the tp). You might be able to make a profit off of selling the bars.
Edit: They are also popular on the tp due to the magic find boost (I buy them, so I would be a customer of yours :P) so they should sell well.
Congratulations to you. I hope you enjoy it.
Yup, you actually can’t discover the recipes sold by the merchant (hence why you need to buy them), but the items you can make from them are of a high enough quality that they will boost your crafting level much faster than what you can currently make.
Yup, as DeumReaper said, your respective crafting merchant sells insignia recipes that are of rare quality, allowing you to make rare gear, using these, you should jump up rather quickly.
The last one shouldn’t be gladiator, it should be draconic. As the only gossamer using craft is the exotic one. Tier 5 craft lvl 8p silk will be of rare quality at most. Tier 6 will be exotic, which has higher stats, but is much more costly to produce (need globs of ectoplasm).
I actually really enjoy the jumping puzzles ^.^. Hmm, maybe try magic find gear, not sure if that affects badge drop rates but I seem to get a decent number from combat.
Not sure trying to call each other out is going to help soothe things……Maybe try to come back after a cooldown and try to talk about it starting on the right foot?
Good to know XD, also, there is actually a better level of insignias after intricate. If you go to the armorsmith master crafting merchant, one of their tabs will sell insignia recipes for karma that are of rare and exotic (lvl 80 only) variety.
Hmm, well I’m no expert on heavy armor crafting, but I have maxed out leatherworking. The intricate insignias do indeed continue until you hit lvl 80 armors (exotic). What I mean by this is you will first unlock the standard insignias, then the intricates. After mythril is the orichalcum stage, which is only used in the crafting of the exotic armors. Pretty sure there is only one type of insignias at that level. Also, the armor skin should change. Sorry if I didn’t really answer your question.
Hmm, I find that I often get a decent amount of badges a night in wvw, think last time I was in wvw for a couple hours I got at least 10. If you really want badges you can always try doing the jumping puzzles (unless you are against that).
Random post.
I’ve been a member of Kaineng since roughly one week after launch or so. Been in wvw for almost as long. Although I usually run around solo (wall repairing is fun XD), I often run with small groups or zergs as well. I have to say it is interesting watching our three servers going at it; through watching the map and just running around it is amazing how, even without much coordination at the large scale, each of the servers manages to pull flanks, targeted attacks, and general camp harassment. I think that these kinds of things are part of what makes wvw so fun ^.^. I remember this one time feeling doomed because DR was at Langor and Fergeson’s at Bravost (both zergs) and I was sitting in the overlook keep thinking we were going to get pushed out of EB XD.
Just to finish off this random post. I wanted to say that I feel that our 3 server’s match up has been the most fun I have had in wvw. I have seen extremely friendly and respectful people from all 3 servers. As heated as things can become between our servers, I hope that we can all realize that wvw is just a game for us to enjoy, rather than a serious competition.
To OP: Just for your own use in the future. You can preview items before you craft them. If I remember correctly, if you hover your cursor over the item picture at the top of the crafting window and then right click, there is the option to preview the item on your character.
