To be abet to stomp with stability the Necromancer needs his elite(plague can be actiuvated during the stomp) as the 3 seconds from the trait(for which no good necromancer build has the points to get it) is in fact not long enough for a stomp

D/D is still good, and S/P is realy good, too(immobilize and stuns are just so kittening good^^). The only slightly op thing thiefs have right now is shortbow(in my oppinion).
If soemone runs condi thief i’m generally happy about it because it is a mostly useless build. Yes it wins some 1 vs 1, vut the current meta focuses on teamfights and necro just deals more damage than any condition thief there, and tehrefore has to be killed.
A task burst theifs just do so much betetr than condition thiefs as tehy have a chance of winning against the necro xD

btw: shatter mesmer is weak against burst thiefs xD

Thieves are the dynamite in the GW2 rock-paper-sissor game. All upside and no counters.
Power Necro autowins against thiefs. Condition Ranger autowins against power thief. Off Guard autowins against power thief. Necro wins against condition thief. Condition engie wins against power thiefs. d/d ele wins against thief.

Invulnerability and stealth do not allow you to capture points. Why are they allowed to finish people?
Just logg off and back in if it boterhs you that much. They dont get points or rallys and you can even switch to another char with teh same setup to “reset” cooldown on your elite skill. Is that fairplay? No it isn’t.
is there any punishment for doing this? No there isn’t.
The problem right nows isn’t that Nec, Engie, Guard, Ranger and Warri can’t do anything to prevent a stomp (well theif can’t realy either against several classes) but that ele and mesmer can. This gives Mesmer and Ele the most OP condition removal: getting downed(which is realy stupid xD)
And btw.: necro downed state doesn’t need a buff, it is quiet ok and i think all downed states should be like it(well necros do deal quite a lot of dmg in downed state, sometimes i wish i had a button to blow myself up to increase my dps xD, perhabs a little nerf on necro’s 3 in downed state would be good, it just doesnt feel right to be able to compeltely drain the life of an ele in about 5 seconds from downed state in a power build).

I didn’t know about any ranger self-rez, as I haven’t seen it yet in over 1200 matches, but I clarified all your other points. I assumed the word “almost” spoke for itself.
The elite spirit can be used for a selfrezz if timed correctly.

As an Engineer, you’re the only class that can almost rez yourself instantly unless you’re packed in a mob full of NPC pets.
1. It’s not instant at all
2. Every class can outdamage the engie rezz on their own (full tank guardian and support ele can’t, but they can knock him out of the aoe hot)
3. rangers can instant rezz themselfes

They simply are not viable, be it PvE or PvP. Yes you can use them in solo PvE, but other builds are better. And in Dungeons they die to every AoE leaving a Necromancer traited for Minions completely useles.
Another problem is that Minions often go “AFK” and just stand aroudn without doing anything and therefore can not be used as a reliable source for dmg or even as tanks.

So let me get this straight: You use Minor Runes because they allow a 2 Set Bonus? You are aware that 2 of the Superior Runes Each would get you basically the same Boni, but much better?
Ok you are only lvl 33, but why teh kitten would you think of writing something for that lvl range? You can basically play every thing at that level and still be able to clear all content you are 2-5 levels underleveld for with ease as a necromancer. And i don’t intend to hate on nemesis, but most of his guides are ratehr unaffective builds and full of mistakes.

We did the Story mode with a team of only 2(!) players(it was the first time i entered this dungeon in story mode, so i didn’t know any of the bosses) and didn’t face any major difficulties. The Hunter can be tough, but with 5 people he should be pretty easy.
