I had this issue with the Monthly Chest. Strangely, it shifted from that question mark back to survivor. So I don’t know if that’s apart of the problem or not.
Could we get more options to interact with the environment?
As an example, I would love to not only sit in a chair, but also perhaps order a drink and watch my character do some cool animation as she’s being served a beer, followed by even having skills to take sips etc.
It’s not a matter of making it more ‘roleplayer’ friendly, but instead just giving more life to the world.
Also, if anyone else has things to list, then please do share.
I’d like to suggest the option to dedicate miniatures so that we could then name them. Dedicate would of course just be either account or soulbound, but it would prevent people from selling these named minis through the market.
It’s also possible that by doing this, sales could go up for certain popular miniatures etc.
I find myself helping guildies and friends with dungeon runs, only to get tokens I’m never going to use. We can’t sell them, fine, that’s understandable. Can we at least trade them for other tokens?
Granted there may be a difference in difficulty and thus some tokens will be worth more than others. Still, this difference can be solved via trading more tokens for less amounts of the rare kind etc.
Just a thought. My storage is losing space. D;
I’m oddly inspired to want to run a dungeon naked.
In all seriousness, this suggestion is always ridiculous when it comes up. It reads as nothing but elitism, which downright spits on the beauty of this game.
I’ve been running with MF gear, not in full, but pretty close (berserker armor with opal jewels & all of my accessories are MF based). I’m focused on power, precision and toughness and I do just fine. Heck, I even run the gear in WvW and still kick butt.
What I find interesting is how all of the people who complain about this issue never stop to think about how ArenaNet spent many years making this game. Out of all of those years, they somehow never took the time to address how effective MF would be in these so-called “selfish” situations? Come now, that’s almost insulting.
Issue #1. First is the Fellblade icon artwork. It only shows at the trader in the HoM. Any time I trans it, the icon never sticks.
Issue #2. The crafted winged armor set has helm errors and my character has a slice through her belly.
Issue #3. The crafted exalted set doesn’t ever display the helm. I’m not positive if it’s because of my character’s hair style, but no matter what I try, I can’t get anything to show.
DO NOT release a halloween event
No… Just no.
I’d like to suggest adding more of that awesome epic music (stuff with the chorus) to many more battle scenarios. It doesn’t play enough and that default battle song is starting to get tedious.
There’s already a regular cat and a raccoon. Both are obtained by earning titles through GW1 and adding them to your hall of monuments in the GW1: Eye of the North expansion. To finalize and earn your rewards, your GW1 account then has to be linked to your GW2 account.
Other than that, I’ll add by saying that I think an Owl mini would be awesome.
First I must note that I’m a big fan of the GW franchise and it’s actually the only MMO series I’ve ever played.
To the point. It appears rather difficult to get attached to any of the characters in Guild Wars 2. There’s something lacking that doesn’t reel me in like other games. I’ve thought about what it could be and can’t quite pinpoint it.
It feels like the characters are not alive enough? Maybe? They don’t feel divided enough as individuals. They all feel cropped from the same background, like robots almost. The only real divide seems to be sarcasm, which isn’t anything compared to reality – thus not very appealing.
I’m not trying to say it’s bad. It’s just something I’ve been struggling with for awhile now and thought I would mention.
What skin is is it? Are we able to get one for ourselves or is it unique to the skill?
So previously, before the new token system was implemented, I had completed Twilight Arbor on story mode and one path (up/up) in explorable mode.
Today was the first time continuing TA in explorable mode after the token update. Our group completed the second path (forward/up) and I only received 30 tokens at the end instead of 60. In addition, the path was not marked as completed in my achievements.
We then went for the last path. Oddly, this one gave me the achievement (so now I have 3/4 instead of 4/4)… but… only 15 tokens!?
Server: Sea of Sorrows.
I concur. It would make the beautiful environment feel more alive.
If you’re smart, you’ll find your way around without the cost being a burden.
I already feel pretty powerful when downscaled. It’s not extremely powerful (and I hope it won’t be), but it’s enough to notice a difference.
I had a different kind of freeze this time around. The game just straight up froze to a static shot. I could move the mouse icon though. I ultimately had to open up task bar and stop the client. It also did say “not responding” in the task bar.
I was in Twilight Arbor on the Sea of Sorrows server.

Issue 1:
I’v been getting some graphical glitches during gameplay, where certain objects will instantly pop to full screen. It happens in a blink of an eye and does so almost randomly. I can’t pinpoint any kind of place or function that might trigger it. It does happen relatively low as not to ruin the game.
Issue 2:
I’ll get some pretty bad fps during big events, like dragon battles. Really anything consisting of huge amounts of players will drop the fps significantly. It seems odd that this happens only because I can run a solid 50/70 fps on max settings during any other type of game play.
Issue 3:
I’ve had many freezes to a blue screen and hardware malfunction notices. They happen every few days it seems. Now I’m pretty certain this could be a hardware problem on my part, but I’m noting this here only because:
1. The video card is literally a couple of weeks old and this problem wasn’t happening until I started using it.
2. It only happens when playing GW2. I haven’t run into this issue playing any other games or anything else. Heck, I spend hours a day in photoshop, while running youtube and such and still no errors. So I’m not sure about the whole graphical demanding bit being the issue here.
Nevertheless, I’ll consider it as a problem on my part before jumping to conclusions. This is also why I’ve been switching ram etc.
It seems rather odd that we can’t wear glasses and a hat at the same time. I think if you implemented a special accessory section, this kind of issue could be solved.
That’s only the half of it though. I would also like to suggest implementing the ability to change lip & hair color after the character creation process.
I created a thread about this but wasn’t sure if it got noticed by you guys, so since you claim to be monitoring this thread, then here’s what I posted:
1. Whenever I equip my headgear via the inventory, the headgear gets this strange artifact problem. It only happens when doing it through the inventory. Any other way seems to work fine.
EDIT! I recently ran into the same problem by switching the armor via the hero tab.
2. The ‘Winged’ light armor set has this small cut through my character’s stomach. No matter how often I change the gear around, it won’t go away.

I cleared this part of the story last night. It was after the update, so I’m not sure if they had done anything to fix it.
In any case, I just focused on keeping all of my allies alive and it worked fine for me.
It’s bugged again? I ran into this issue near a week ago and that very night they had an update that appeared to fix the problem. The escort worked and I cleared it then.
How long have you waited to catch the event? It starts kinda far from the location needed. I can’t remember the exact location though.
