Would be smart. Release in china + feature patch in the west will mean numbers will grow, despite inc competetition.

I think that would be 1 of the great opportunities in many ways.
1. Business 1-10 percents in China could equal 40 percents in Germany (I just guess but due to the fact that China’s population is so high,about 100 million up,if i remember correctly)
2. Base fan club will grow a lot (If Arenanet maintain their game properly, the only problem i see so far is zerging/play together which i don’t know if this kind of gameplay will appeal to Chinese players or not because it’s currently dominated by that game or maybe something like Chinese novel game. Most of them relie on solo play and or grinding)
One of the things that can indicate the popularity is fanart. If Charr (in furry community) , Asura and Sylvari (in Deviantart or in other place) appear a lot, that could be nice.
3. Business/Design decision
Who knows. As the Chinese players emerge (make sure that Arenanet can manage that,if Dev or forum mod read my opinion), they might want something that would satisfy them. Something like make anything Asian and we will tell our friends. (Maybe Cantha? <<<<I never play GW1 to be honest :P . Or maybe Asian theme weapons.)

But let just hope that the Devs can manage things properly before approaching to newer business opportunity. After all less bugs seems always the best (I ever saw a graphic bug when someone or me struck by Basilisk venom. After the stun effect ends, it’s like an idiot curse that can’t do anything properly).

And here. I really dropped from the base.
So if anyone know anything please tell me. I want to know what kind of bug is this.
Because i think that Skyhammer has the biggest issue with bugs or glitch! D’:

Here. I fall into something like sea. There is no wurm or sand area like it used to be!

I just access to the pvp server. Then when i was about to walk, i notice something strange….. (Like in the picture)
And after i saw it, i walked. But it didn’t go as i want so i fall into the sea!
YEAH, I don’t know why but Skyhammer does have sea too!

Could this be a bug or a glitch??? What are your opinions?

I can’t find enough different for each class (except their utility,weapon skills and trait) when apply both boons and conditions (like Mesmer’s bleed and Necromancer’s bleed) so i think it’s the time to upgrade for the classes to do with both boons and conditions more unique to each other. I think to rely on the condition damage trait and boon duration alone make a feeling like nothing is significantly different much like stealth and aegis (the mechanic that only put to 1-2 class that can gain access to those).

For example : -Necromancer’s conditions apply double intensity : 1 stack bleeding,poison and etc. are more powerful than other classes.

-Guardian’s boon duration and intensity are double. Regen,retaliation,etc. are better than those apply from other class.

-Mesmer’s confusion is more deadly,daze duration is 1 second longer (can stack with comfounding suggestion) and boon ripping power remove additional boon.

-Engineer’s condition duration and boon duration from utility should be longer than most of the classes. My opinion is that Engineer can apply variety of conditions than Necromancer so i think their condition duration should be twice than other classes even Necromancer.

-Thief gains vigor at 125 percent. Well you know why.

-Elementalist’s protection/cripple, regen/chill,swiftness/blind and might/burning have longer duration. Because they attune the power of the elemental right? So i think they might be able to access the natural source (speaking in RP terms) and at least most of the skills and utility (associate to elemental) have at least one of the associate boons. (
Warrior and ranger no need to upgrade at all in my opinion.

I hope you all understand about what i’m trying to say.

Same here. Marionette is a much better fight. AT least smallerish servers have a chance, unlike with the worm.
But this is just a test for the Marionette so I can see why they didn’t make it permanent.

Wurm is not unique at all. It just an enlarge version of normal wurm.
But i agree why Marionette is not permanent.

I think 2 hours is too long. (except for raider or boss hunter player type)
Maybe they should make something like if succeed, stay 2 hours, If not, reduce to 30 minutes to try again. (I think this boss is as hard as Tequal and also i usually be able to race with that robot when i found 5 people on the field!)

I think ANET should simply convert to Burning for 1 second but remove internal cooldown. Stacks duration too.

Although I prefer my Charrs to be a bit Sylvari-alike (I mean personality), Anet did Charr’s story pretty well and really good for RP. Asura seems irrational a bit and Sylvari’s idioms are too boring.

Do what it currently does. But when its effect ends, give another 10-15 Torment stacks in range. Also reduce CD too.
I’m not trying to make this op but look at Mesmer’s torment (can apply at long range/short range on block) , Thief’s torment (venom share just makes Torment stacks really high) and Warrior’s torment. (seriously long duration). And after all Necromancer should makes Torment become more mayhem (they play with conditions in many ways and how they end up having inferior condition usefulness?)
I also suggest Dev (if they look at this thread) to add some attack skills to have torment like number 1/3 scepter to add both poison AND torment or maybe some utility that provide Torment too.

I simply tried venom in PvE and though,why they are so awful?
It just apply conditions just like the other class and even the weapon skills can do?

I think this is really bad. I honestly suggest your team should change there effect and make an alternative skill like these.

-All venom will have the same power (like devourer venom will make immobilize, For basilisk venom i suggest to change it into slow target’s action speed by 75 percent per hit and healing venom just add protection or stability per hit) but instead, make them become hexes so that it will be more unique and worth to wait for cooldown that long.

-The duration will be really really longer (plus with condition duration) but only have one hit (trait that increase a hit still apply).

-Venom duration will have 10 seconds. (And reduce base cooldown…MORE please.)

-Alternative effect : When venom is in effect even attacked, will have the venom serum skill that will remove any related conditions (just like when being hit by a snake,use snake serum.) <<<<<Just like number 2 shortbow skill. This skill affects venom share too.

So that’s all i can think of. Although i usually play venom share, I suggest you should make them become more effective in my opinion.

Well i got tome of knowledge from PvP.
The problem is, as title says, I don’t know how to play or how good are Ranger and Guardian.
I now have only 1 free slot character creation and i really need some suggestion.

I tried Guardian and i feel Guardian is so clumsy, has slow attack speed and not good support play [I saw some pro players do pretty well with Guardians. But when i tried with myself. I feel confusing with Guardian. :/ ]

How you guys play Guardians to be effectiveness and really skilled?

Also when i tried Ranger, i feel “Pet management” is somewhat similar to the agents from XCOM the bureau but the pets down pretty fast. And i’m not notice the differences in pets much. I think from Bear to Moa are the same except special skills.
I don’t know but i think i usually rely on pet a lot. But that’s quiet long time ago.

How do you guys play Ranger pretty good? (And um, exclude Spirit ranger please. I know how to play as it,a bit. )

I now main as Mesmer (And warrior for reaching 80, now 78) and usually play in supportive role. I don’t know how to play supportive role (and maybe aggressive role) in those classes.

I will check and decide which one should i create and play in PvE , I wish to know the goods and the bads in both classes as many as possible.

And Will you make a plot like Captain Tixx helps Pale tree to solve the Scarlet issue?
Also will you put most friendly NPCs to play with Tixx on the ship together (as if it’s a peaceful refuge)?
I really like him and for me, Captain Tixx is the most memorable NPC, second to Rox and i’m not gonna kidding about that.

I think Venoms for solo should be hype up a lot!
Something like provide 5 stacks of torment and invulnerability for 4 attacks, Chill [and 3 stacks of bleeding] for 4 attacks, [Stun converts to make a target attack 50 percent slower for next 9 attacks, doesn’t not stack duration and each attack slow 1 second to make it more tactical gameplay] and etc. to make SOLO venom useful. (Also reduce cooldown rate to 25 or maybe 30 seconds)
I also think that the developers should add skills like …
-Renew venom : Draw all venoms back to a thief. Reduce cooldown by 25 percents (does stack with Venom reduce cooldown trait)

As i the one that use venom share a lot, enchant its range to 1200 and reduce overall cooldown but all venom effects should be like now.

That’s what i though.

To sum it up : Venom base power (condition stacks) for SOLO should be UPGRADE! While for venom share should have better range,reduce all VENOM’s base cooldown and not much additional upgrade but still require.

(I wish i can USE VENOM MORE FREQUENTLY. But Venom’s base cooldown is too high)

I just exit during the story (Kiel and Fotm staffs) due to my guild mate ask me to get out from fotm so that i can join his party. And after that, i don’t know how to replay that story again. This EXCLUDE video that explains reason why she needs a volunteer.

Nowadays. He is now a powerful illusion mesmer. As he travels so many place and meet so many friends (include a warlord from the Vigil and Tybalt from the order of whisper). He hopes to finish his wyld hunt and continue searching about the outsider that he wants to know since he is a child. And his journey starts from that. (But Rytlock always act towards him as a soldier so it’s quiet sad for him. )

He is not a regular charr. He was born like the Sylvari,from Pale tree. But after he born, he was teleported to Asura capital, Rata sum. He studied so many things just like other Asura. He was requested by other Asura to do both magic and technology experiments. After he was 15, he got a celebrate from other crews but later in that night…some magic in form of light cloak him and teleport him into Hoelbrake. None of his crews know what happen to him even Zojja can’t figure about this incident either. Now he is in Hoelbrake. He tried to survive and adapt the situation. He almost fallen into the harsh snow and the cruel wind….until Eir found him. Eir tried to help him in many things such as Norn’s culture and Eir taught him fighting, hunting and how to living in this harsh land, even he did poorly. 2 years later, a mysterious light just coat him again and this time the light cloak him in front of Eir and the light fade.
The light sent him back to the Grove,the land of Sylvari. He was wondering about why the light cloak him. Why it has to be him? Why the light always teleport him into somewhere else? While he was thinking, a human thief stole something from a Sylvari merchant before running away. He then put this curious later and caught a thief, and end up being entangle by a net from Caithe.
This time she asked him to help her catch human thieves that appear near village. So he caught them all. Caithe then asked him as if he is just a regular Charr. But then he asked her to find anyone that know about this mysterious light. Then Caithe sent him to Pale tree. Pale tree then told him about it. “It’s your wyld hunt. A wyld hunt that connect from the outsider. The outsider tries to communicate you and request you to do anything for him. Your wyld hunt started since you’re a child but your real wyld hunt will begin when you found someone in the dense of the smoke and fire. Someone that has seize relics from the past. Someone that pass so many cruel wars. Someone that ever saw the elder dragon. Until then you should stay here and wait for the call of the outsider.” 3 years later, after he learned many things from the Sylvari (including Caithe and Pale tree) the mysterious light appears. But not just cloak him without a warning. This time the light converted into the door, the door that will lead to the location that Pale tree told him, the Black citadel. Caithe who saw the light said to something to him before she let him go. “Rarafeat.” She gave a bright crystal to him. “I hope this will be useful to your wyld hunt. Take care of yourself.” “I will. I promise i will finish this wyld hunt with my best effort.” Then he walked though the door.

I don’t know if this is a bug or not but i don’t think this will not happen on other race for sure right?
Although it’s alright for me but somehow you should make it like Cabalist leg.

PS After i decide to roll warrior just because of Pit fighter and Knight armor,After i reach lv 71 and be able to wear those two,I feel quiet shock. lol

I wish Arenanet will make a story after the Destiny edge defeat Zhaitan and other elderdragon. Something like a request from other continent ask for help and make a real real expansion there.
I regard living story as the optional story. I wish they will take care about the destiny edge some more.

It seems when entering the chamber instances (NOT the final instance, the final instance is always Marjory and Kasmeer the first time and solo every time after that) you have a random chance to get any combination of Rox, Kasmeer, Marjory, and Braham. You can either get 2 of them, or just 1.

If you get Marjory and Rox together, you’re in for a treat. The interaction between the two is great.

Rox and Braham’s interaction was good as well, though that’s always the case.

I think you are trying to sell the rare toxic nimros krait. It is the toxic hybrid krait that is tradable.

Guys…I just had an epiphany. A massive one. Everything is leading towards the next personal story releases. Reasoning behind this…

A. Frost and Flame: Scarlet’s Alliance was not only testing how well various villainous factions would work together, but also how various races would. Testing the waters for a bigger force, if you will.

B. Dragonbash: Scarlet set out to destory the Lion’s Arch council, considered to be the most competent of all the governments in Tyria. This would weaken Tyria considerably, since there’d be nobody who could easily rally the other governments together.

C. Queen’s Jubilee: Scarlet set out to kidnap/kill Queen Jenna, the only person who could keep a peace treaty going between the Charr and the Humans. With her out of the way, the two races would war again, leaving them divided against the bigger threat, the dragons.

D. Twilight Assault: Here she revealed she knew something about Caithe nobody else knew, something that she never wants out in the open. Caithe is known to keep secrets close to her, and doesn’t reveal them easily. Since nobody is supposed to know about this, it means Scarlet can somehow get information nobody should be able to have.

E. The Tower of Nightmares and The Nightmare Within: She created an alliance that has spread a poisonous toxin far across Tyria, which while causing hallucinations, could easily prevent people from mentally fighting back somebody from taking control of them…

F. The Nightmare Within: She shows more knowledge about everybody than should be possible. She knows Marjory’s past, Kasmeer’s past, Rox and Braham’s pasts, and even the player character’s past, taunting us with everything we’ve ever done in the personal story. This shouldn’t be possible, unless she has eyes and ears everywhere. Something you wouldn’t expect from anything other than an Elder Dragon that controls something that can be everywhere…like plants.

Add all this together, and it’s confirmed…she’s working for the Elder Dragon of the Jungle, Mordramoth. Gentlemen, I daresay next year we’re off to the deepest parts of Maguuma!

If that is true, i wish that elder dragon will just stomp her and say something like “oops i did it again” to end her. lol

This patch should be rename to “TOWER OF MADNESS”!

Seriously. ARENANET just put ALL MONSTER LEVEL INTO 1 TINY SPACE! And their spawn late are so fast too.

Couple of days late, but yes, Braham and Rox were in the toxic offshoot areas, although it was random. They’re both now in the Tower of Nightmares, in the instanced “Nightmare Chambers”. They have a chance of appearing, as do Marjory and Kasmeer (two of the four npcs will spawn per instance)

Wow. You’re so lucky to see Rox and Braham. I got those old women twice. (And Braham once. :’( )

Do you have to fight different illusion in each chambers?
All i found are Kasmeer and Braham and i found 7 chambers too.
But i have heard that you can fight Trehearn and Sieren, how to do that?

I don’t know. At least ARENANET should make an additional slot just for miniature. Seriously i want my golem walks on the ground but i have to manual active it which is kind of bad. Hope Arenanet can do it. (About the topic, i seriously agree. As i don’t like this corrosive Krait i want to sell to someone else but got account bound. :‘( And i mean i don’t want to just put it in the trash.)

Hm. I think quiet opposite. I want to see Charr in that way too but still keep normal charr. You mean the flame legion. We can see how well that is going.

The Charr would DESTROY any group that tried to be “prophets” for any kind of religion among them. It would almost be like betraying who they are.

I don’t know. But my opinion is that it happens after Zhaitan defeated (end of the Original GW2 story). I also think for something like Rytlock and the other two leader expel them and when the Black citadel being attack by a group of Flame legion,they decide to help them and all three leader will test them (still expel from Black citadel) and after all kind of test, the charr phophet decide to stay with the Pale tree so at least they will not make conflict with the Black citadel and Flame legion. Then after several weeks, this charr prophet can see a new,never see before and it’s not in Tyria (Cantha or Elona) so he spreads his vision because those people need help to……(up to there lore).

Yeah that’s what i think. (Hope the developer can see this suggestion. )
Although i just know that Molten alliance still alive (From Scarlet) so i think there will be some change in the future about unique Charr,i hope.
