We had 1 year of only ESL weekly on thursday and now recently a big Anet tourny every few months.
Since we now have a real competitive weekly/monthly tournament system, I understand and its reasonable for shoutcasters to focus their time on those. A bit sad to not have anything to watch on thursday but ok.

The Monthly Finals will be on another day than the Weeklies, more information on the Monthly Finals will follow shortly.

Do you want to get into casting but just never had the opportunity? Check out more information below to get started!

You’ll be shoutcasting our upcoming tournaments whether it’s our 2v2/5v5 Weekly Series, Seasonal Cups or other special events.

Requirements

• You must stream via Twitch.tv. This is absolutely mandatory.

• You must have good stream performance. In other words, your stream must be “watchable”. If you have a really poor video quality, or your microphone does a weird sound, or your network connection doesn’t allow you to have a smooth stream, we will decline you. Note that we don’t ask for a max setting stream, only the required to have a nice and enjoyable experience watching it.

• You must be able to communicate in English! Although we wont restrict the casters to stream in English only, you need to communicate with admins and players!

I’ve played with SoR in TeamQ as well yeah, both as a replacement for Stone and Hunt signet, but I found myself to be doing better when having Stone, Hunt and Signet and the Wild than when replacing one of them with SoR.

When you said in the other thread you relied on your team for condi removals, I thought they would actually remove your condis. I didn’t watch the video straight through, but I fast forwarded looking for ranger play and you needlessly died to condis a lot. Why not just swap one of your signets for SoR? You lose basically nothing and gain a LOT.

I know I didn’t get a lot of condi removal in those matches, but that’s because your team gotta focus on actually keeping you as a power ranger alive a lot more, which takes some time to get used to.
Stone signet saved me tons of times, and with signet of the hunt + wild I was able to win a lot of fights.
I might’ve survived a few other times with the SoR, but then I would’ve been missing one of my other signets and might’ve lost some of the fights that I won.

EDIT: I’m not saying it’s perfect or anything, my point is just that there’s potential for power ranger in competitive play.

I wouldn’t recommend eagle eye. There is very few area’s in maps that will allow to use 1500 unit range without some form of line of sight interference.

On Legacy, Temple and Khylo it’s really useful and there’s quite a lot of spots where the enemy can’t LoS properly.

I’d swap signet of stone for renewal. Its a stunbreak and a condiremoval as well. I also became a fan of sword warhorn over greatsword, but I’m more of a wvw guy, so there’s that.

Since I’m the one who actually made this build I’ll let you know why I went with Signet of Stone and Greatsword.

Yes, the build lacks condi removal, no doubt. But to play this properly in competitive play your team needs to adapt to play with a power ranger, your team will have to provide you with the condi cleanse needed. If you get stun-locked by lets say a warrior, then the signet of stone is amazing. Thiefs will always give you a hard time as power ranger, but if you pop the stone signet when a thief jumps on you then you have a really great chance of winning the fight.

Greatsword got mobility, evade, block, stun, knockback and huge spike.
If you use signet of the wild and hunt, swap to GS and get critical hit you can almost instagib squishy classes. Sword has great survivability but it lacks DPS which the GS provides.

No problems logging in to my account at all, but as soon as I’m on the character select screen and press “play” I get this error message:
“Exception: c00000094
A serious error has occurred that prevented the application from continuing. A report has been sent to ArenaNet to help determine the cause.”

It keeps coming everytime I restart the client…
Anyone else with the same problem?
