I’ve been on FA since launch and have no intention of ever leaving. I’d recommend this server to anyone that wants a positive gaming experience with great people and teamwork.

I may sound a bit biased but I cannot think of anything negative to say.

What is this “transfer” you speak of?

BP & CD have been bringing it this week! They have no fear while being outnumbered 2-1 most times. Very nice to see and mad respect! I hope we can face you guys again very soon.

Most likely my wish will come true when we get 2v1 by Yaks and HoD next week and get bumped down to face you guys again the week after.

It may be a bit off topic, however for the health of WvW in general, I’d love to see JQ, BG & TC and to a lesser extent SoS totally implode. This would lead to transfers to the other 20 servers which would result in better game play for all.

The number of people exploiting is tiny, it’s having zero effect on your precious ppt.

So let me get this straight. From what you’re saying, the cheaters are playing fair and death in WvW is what puts people off playing it? And why talk about PvE-ers like they are a bad thing? Or does their way of playing offend you in some way? Maybe it frightens you?

I have had my share of deaths in WvW and understand it is sometimes an unavoidable part of it. It is the last thing to stop me playing WvW. I love playing WvW, but I do not love unwinnable unfair fights against invincible unseen cheaters. If you like that kind of thing then I think there is something wrong with you.

As to it being a tiny amount and not effecting the PPT. You may be right, but that is not a good reason to ignore the problem and it is not a good reason to not bring it to Anet’s attention. If we all sat silent the problem would only get worse and eventually ruin the game, if left unchecked. And from the sounds of things this HAS gone unchecked, or at least unacknowledged, for some time. So surely that would explain some peoples frustration?

I agree with BAITness, your post had no reality check tone about it, only insulting and dismissive. So please, while we may sound like we are overreacting to you, try to be a little more constructive with your contributions and try not to blindly insult people. Cheating is cheating, no matter how insignificant it may seem to some. It’s just plain wrong and disrespectful to other players and the game.

The only positive outcome of all the T1 drama would be for all 3 servers to implode. Now that would be something I would love to see, and it would help the other 21 servers be competitive (some more than others).

There’s a reason the Guard staff is called the Loot Stick. Can’t really beat it for “farming bags and WXP or achievements”. The only downside is low mobility on guard so if you fall behind it’s tough to catch back up, but you can always leave a GS in secondary for the leap.

Agreed; I mainly run my Guardian with a staff and GS. I also runed up my armour with Superior Runes of the Traveler, it gives +25% speed boost which helps a lot. I highly recommend using those runes in WvW.

FA & TC had a good rivalry at one time when we were both in T2. Although we most likely won’t be facing each other for awhile, our hate still runs deep towards them.

T1 servers will hammer the T2 servers because of population differences, moreso when players get their 10 meta achieve for the season reward and then move to teso.

The only chance the bottom 3 servers have is if there’s some sort of double team with another T2 when matched with a T1 server, but that will never happen lol, too much hate for SoS from FA, TC, MAGS.

Agreed, SoS, Mags and FA have too much pride to double team, but it would be kinda satisfying and funny to put a beat down on the top 3 big guns.

I’m just afraid that FA won’t make it to gold league. If we end up in silver again I’m gonna claw my eyes out with a rusty fork.

I suggest coming to FA. This will help balance out T2 with Mags and SoS. In my opinion T2 is the best place to be for balanced game play, minimal lag and action most of the time.

In my opinion, T2 is the place to be. We don’t get the lag of T1 or the inactivity of the lower tiers, it is a nice balance here. I would either pick FA or Mags, that way we can compete with the coverage and population of SoS, which are heading in the direction of T1.5 like as you know TC was for months. I would also recommend DB, they are fun to fight and are on the rise again. Also if you like server stability, FA is the place to be, from memory I do not recall us ever being a bandwagon or tanking server. We have been in T2 it seems like forever. Overall I think T2 with FA, Mags and SoS is the best tier to be in for balanced game play and fun.

You are most certainly correct, FA only cares about fights. But to get good fights, sadly you have to win the PPT game. We have no intention of going back to silver, it was awful.

As PPT-coverage is the only real way to prove if a server is “showing up” or not, this week so far has shown that FA is a strong server and definitely “shows some pride” If you think for one second that my server has or will “tank” you are sadly mistaken. We will fight like a wounded bear to the bitter end. You can bank on that.

I honestly don’t know why we are MIA more so than TC & Mag over the holidays. The only logical thing I can think of is that the holidays have affected us more than you guys. We have no ques on any map at anytime and we haven’t lost any guilds that I know of so I can’t explain it fully.

I’ve been on every day the past 2 weeks and I have noticed that for the most part both TC & Mag have been concentrating on us, which I assume is for easy PPT points, however it kind of surprises me that Mag cares more for PPT than fights. They could easily get more fights from you guys because you have more players online atm, so it kinda baffles me.

We have no intention of purposely dropping to silver league nor did we last time. Most of us didn’t have fun there and we will fight hard to stay out of silver.

“tenacity”? I think “coverage” is a better word to use. You have more players online than us this week, it’s that simple. I also noticed that Mag has really changed from being basically a roaming server to generic PPT, but it’s all good, if that makes the game more enjoyable for you.

Well since TC lost to FA last week, it should be pretty evident that most of the WVW players are taking some time to celebrate the Holidays with their families now (as are most people). I wouldn’t get too worked up about the results this week.

This is why we can’t have nice things, like a winning week. Seems like our commanders are more willing to attack each other rather than the other servers.

Agreed, it’s never cool to call out your server mates in these troll forums. Especially commanders, they are supposed to lead by example. It’s an easy way to lose respect for ones self.

Edit: I happen to like Tyrions style of commanding, he definitely gets people motivated and pumped up, and he always has a large zerg following him so the results speak for themselves.

I really have no interest in small group action. I play WvW, not Tpvp…I use siege, fight from battlements, use cannon on infantry, retreat to the safety of the keep if necessary and fight in the zerg. I carry supply and build siege in field to give our zerg an advantage over an enemy group…large or small.

We’ll use the full force of the zerg on “any” quantity of enemy players. Simply because you are in the way as we proceed to the next objective.

Our numbers are legion….the TC Militia really doesn’t give a fat rats kitten about small groups. Except to make them dead.

Its total bs….we zerg, they zerg…all servers zerg when it suits them. I have no problem with zerging. I have no problem with a zerg to taking down a smaller group. Happens all the time.

One on one…you small groupers are better than me. So I run with the zerg. Lots of us do. Numbers are “usually” better than skill.

Even though you are my enemy, I gotta agree with you. If people don’t wanna see zergs then move down to the lower tiers. I for one love all the action of a large scale fight. Or if they’re hell bent on 1vs1 then go PvP, there’s that option in GW2. WvW is mostly intended for large group fights and teamwork.

Overall this was a good match-up. It is nice to face the T2’s again. The score is close as it should be for everyone on the 3 servers to enjoy a fairly equal and competitive match.

I hope Anet doesn’t do leagues again cause it sucks kitten . Either you stomp or get stomped, no fun at all.

I’m looking forward to facing SoR soon. If TC can beat them and TC only beat us by 15k, then it should be a pretty good test for us and it should be a close match. I think FA, TC & SoR would be incredibly close, that is if there’s no 2vs1, which I can’t see happening.

I gotta give credit where credit is due, that EP guild from SoS has really impressed me. I think they run with maybe 15-20ish and they looked unstoppable last night in EBG near SMC rolling both TC and FA zergs over and over. You guys got skills, my hats off to you.

Actually we did miss TC and the rest of T2. We knew you guys would win the PPT this week and we’re OK with that. The only time we care about PPT is when it comes down to us going back to silver league, then we will fight like a wounded bear to stay out of there, because it’s a terrible place to be.

You will see first hand when you face SBI, they QQ like your whiny little sister, it gets old and annoying very quickly.

All we want and care about is good honest hard fights, so keep bringing it!

If you really want to stretch it: SBI has way more casuals than anybody else that gladly jump on the bandwagon for wins but duck out by the week if they’re losing – especially if they have anything better to do. In which case be proud: your server is the most fickle server in terms of extremes.

It’s been an intense week, and SBI is definitely worthy of their position on the ladder… but its like SBI is insulted to be losing to YB… and no one respects a garbage attitude like that.

Unfortunately, I believe that to be true. I wish we could get people to show up, because that would make this week amazing, instead of just fun. Imagine if we were all fielding the same numbers at the same time, and our PPT was 1-5k apart? I know that with the unbalance on the servers that will probably never happen, but in the old days, those were always the best matchups.

I’m big on respect… anyone who runs with me or by my tag knows this..
Having said that… It IS still insulting to lose to yaks. BECAUSE SBI IS a better, stronger, more organized server. We not winning at the moment… But not because we didn’t open the week with a huge lead… not because of supply wasting trolls… definitely not because Yaks is better….
But because we are fielding 50% of what we normally do. EBG is almost ALWAYS a 1 hour que… there is no que.. SBI BL is normally QUED.. again.. no que.. The other 2 BL’s are normally medium que.. also… NO QUE.

We are missing ALOT of players. Yet still yaks wants to talk smack like they’ve beaten us straight up. They talk as if They have overcome the big RED SBI MACHINE.
They haven’t. They been beating up on pugs, militia and a handful of Die hard WvW guys.

So its nothing to be proud of but, by all means… brag away lol.
