I am brand new to GW2. Haven’t even created my first character. I am looking for a guild to settle in with. I am 31 and in the military and just looking for some people to pvp quest etc with. I would prefer vent or TS for comm’s. Currently looking at going the guardian route from what research I’ve done. Just got back into Guildwars 2 and realised that the game isn’t have as fun without being a member of a guild.

Am still a noob Guildwars 2 player but was really into Guildwars 1 back in the day (and was a member of a guild called Trans Tasman Alliance).

Looking for any friendly guild out there (preferably without strict attendance requirements). Doesn’t have to be Australian. Currently playing PVE but would definitely have interest in WvW or PvP when the time comes.

Currently in Gates of Madness Server but would be happy to switch if most of the guildies are somewhere else (are we still allowed one free server switch?)

As we speak I am installing GW2. Though reluctant at first I decided I would finally give this game a go. I never played GW or, GW2 before, but have gaming experience. I’m coming back to Guildwars 2, i have played an assassin when the game launched, and now i think its time to come back and try out the new content.

What I’m looking for? I’m looking for a serious guild, I am not looking for hardcore gaming either.

- I want a guild that goes in dungeon weekly, if not daily. I don’t mind following a schedule as long as i can go in vacation once in a while or going out with friends.

- I want a guild that like to share what they learn about the game.

- I want a guild that recruit low level player since I’m probably re-roll a new character.

- I want a guild where my rank can grow with time, as my skills go up and showed that i can be trusted.

I’m looking for a tight-knit guild to do various things with (mainly dungeons and WvW). My current guild has moved to another game and are done with GW2, but I’m not quite ready to let it go yet. I don’t want to be in a guild that prides itself on 100+ members who don’t know each other and constantly have people leaving and joining. Also, I’m looking for a guild that doesn’t have strict rules on when to play (I’m a college student who works and has GF aggro at times). Basically a relaxed atmosphere with a smaller group (30-40ish members?) who all know each other and get along well, who are focused more on the quality of members rather than quantity. Currently, I’m on Maguuma server but I’ll gladly guest to another and if the fit is right, transfer over.

First….I’m terrible in english so please don’t correct me or anything. Anyway…obviously, I need a guild.I’m on Euro server. And I’ll say right away, I’ve been in many guilds and I honestly didn’t like it. Most of them were unfriendly.This is the biggest problem for me.They all do their jobs, there’s no disccusion at all, everything seems pretty much dead.
I need veeery active guild, small or medium….I don’t like big guilds ,cause I want to get friendly with other members of the guild and that’s just not possible in 200+ guild.
I’m mostly interested in PVE, so dungeous, quests etc, even though I want to try WvW once but not atm. I’ve been playing GW2 for a few months now (interrupted briefly by a cross-country move and a foray into SWTOR) and I’ve started to get into a little bit of WvW.

I’m looking for a casual, mature guild of gamers with jobs/famalies who have lives and are available somewhere between 6pm and 1am EST (I live out West so I play 6ish to 11ish weekdays Mountain Time, which is 8pm to 1am EST, and anytime during the day when I get the chance on weekends).

I’m looking for people who won’t mind questing in PvE, or helping a noob get used to WvW competition. And, if nothing’s going on, I wouldn’t mind a Guild that’s simply around in the chat so I don’t feel like the only player in the game.

About me: Mature player with a main focus of WvW with some PvE for leveling. Have a few high level characters, but I’m dedicated to this getting this Ranger leveled up and geared. I have a mic. I would not say I was hardcore but I can usually get myself out of a bind if needed and usually rack up a few kills along the way.

I’m currently on Devona’s Rest, but am open to creating new characters on another server. I must reiterate PvE content must actually be a focus for the guild. Too often I get burned by “we’re a PvX guild that does PvE content” only to find out these runs rarely happen due to lack of interest. Not that I’m opposed to the occasional PvP or WvW, but I’m mostly in GW2 for the story/lore.

That aside, I’m 30 and a casual MMO player. Real life comes first and I play a lot of other games, so this won’t be a daily thing for me (hence, why I’m seeking a casual guild). I’m looking for a guild on a NA server (preferably EST time zone, but not necessary). I play mostly in the early evening (6ish to 9ish) and Sundays.

A guild that wouldn’t mind showing me the ropes in dungeons would be appreciated. Since it can be hard to find PvE guilds, I haven’t run any dungeons yet.

Ok I have gotten to a point in the game where I am a level 36 I have done this solo for the reason of leveling faster so I did not have to spread my loot and exp around a party or a guild but at this level guess it matters little how fast I level up I am almost half way through so need some info on a guild that is recruiting and with info I mean I need to know the percentage of exp and loot I would be giving up to said guild and which one would be interested in helping me learn more about the game. I am mainly a PvE player cause My character is weak and PvP would be just a waist of time for me and WvW would only see me on my back about 90% of the time but if I had the right group I might be able to get healed during those fights and learn something about those two things. You can PM me or leave a message here on the forum just need the info though so I know what I am getting into and what I would be facing losing half or more exp from my kills.

In 2003 a small group of friends founded CG to play casually and focus our time on one game. It soon took off into more then one game and developed into what we now call “Crimson Guards United” gaming. Guild Wars 2 was chosen for its impressive MMO game play style which sets itself apart from most MMO’s and as of right now we have been openly recruiting on Jade Quarry.

Guild Focus: Right now our main focus for the guild is PvE Dungeoning, Dailys, Monthlys, and Group Events. Once we recruit more members into CGU we will shift our focus from this to Guild WvW and the newly added Guild Missions. We know some members like to do Dungeons or just PvE in general more than doing WvW or PvP so now members are required to do one or the other. Here with CGU Gaming we believe in letting every member do what they enjoy in-game and we believe in-turn thats what makes the Guild better as a division.

Division Requirements :

So, we wanted to set up a strong division here on Guild Wars 2 and so far its on the right track. We are currently accepting all skills levels and character levels. Our only requirement is 16+ years of age, to keep drama out of our guild so every mature player can have a fun experience in our guild. To join our leadership you must show you will be active, show you have what it takes to lead, and be able to promote CGU. It won’t we easy to start off but the leadership positions may go fast. We usually let our current active members on Guildwars make the final decision who they want to represent them.

Me and a friend are looking for a guild… We’re literally about to start playing in about 2 hours. I’m willing to play any class, any spec, any role. He generally plays caster-types.

I’m a little more inclined to PvE, DAOC being the only pvp I’ve ever enjoyed. He’s the opposite, heavily PvP and a big Dragon’s Nest player.

We’re very active, and play at a high skill level.

The MMO’s I took seriously were DAoC, Tera, and WoW, he plays a plethora of free to play’s and FPS’s.

Guild must be active, voice chat would be nice.
