Event stuck on Tarnished Coast Server in Halrunting Plains, Diessa Plateau.
“Drive out the invaders, and destroy their personnel carrier.” Is up but there are no dredge, personnel carrier, or Gold Legion in sight.
Rawr… those cowards!
It might be that condition removal by way of “minions” (summons, pets, elementals, turrets, etc) may not count.
Item bags are spawning out of nowhere every few minutes at two locations in Criterion Canyon.
The items vary from white to green in rarity thus far and after being removed reappear in a fairly short amount of time (6+ minutes). I personally watched and waited and saw the process repeat twice. I specifically avoided killing any mobs at the location.
The locations are in the exact same spot and are show in the pictures attached.
-Edit: Just to ensure this was not my imagination, I waited a third time. Just like clockwork the two bags re-appeared.

Condition Remover daily does not seem to recognise when I remove conditions using “Clensing Burst” skill from my engineer healing turret. Thus far it’s failed to update when I removed weakness, poison, cripple… (to be edited with more info).
Elixir C seems to work! So it appears to be only “Cleansing Burst’s” removal that does not count.
I am playing in the Mount Maelstrom zone on Tarnished Coast server.

As seen in the attached picture, the Trading post page graphics don’t show up properly. I closed the TP and reopened it and it came up normal afterwards.
Zammoros is Zamorak in disguise, I knew it!
As the title states, daily progress is not given for the Mystic Forge achievement if player uses the forge in the PvP lobby area.
Zammoros old buddy, old pal, you need to play nice!
Upon discovering “Treacherous Depths” in Mount Maelstrom (on Tarnished Coast server) the golden text which appears on the screen reads “Irwin Isle discovered”. Irwin Isle is in fact inside the Treacherous Depths area, but it’s not the name of the area (any more?).
I’m loving the zone!
For those of you who like to read fan-fiction, here’s a treat! The Foundation Guild is in the process of writing an unofficial expanded universe (UEU) for GW2. Our characters and stories are carefully written in order to fit into the rest of the land of Tyria without conflicting with the canon storyline. You will not see Logan, Caithe, or Rytlock (sadly) but you will see characters from each story interacting with the world of Tyria and overlapping with one another in how they all fit together into the secretive order, Foundation.
Though every story can stand on it’s own, because characters and plot-lines cross between the writers in interesting ways.
Completed Works:
Ayroh by Kaenes (http://www.foundation-hub.org/ayroh/)
Written by the guild leader in a staccato surreal style which keeps the reader guessing on the edge, Ayroh covers the story of the creator of the Foundation through his many trials and victories as he makes norn allies, and charr enemies. Twenty-four chapters in three acts, a sure to please read! It has a sequel, Blood of the Sun which continues the story of Ayroh as he struggles with the aftermath. Takes place roughly one year before the storyline of GW2 (complete but continued in Blood of the Sun)
Ache by Syreas (http://www.foundation-hub.org/ache/)
Fifteen chapters about a borderline-psychopath sylvari Dryetn and his human partner Katryn on a bloody (or sappy if you get the drift) crusade against the Nightmare Court. Blood and sap fly in this deep, yet battle filled plot. This story directly overlaps with Ayroh above and introduces more of the “Architects” behind Foundation.
Works in Progress:
Dusk to Dawn by Dhalik (http://www.foundation-hub.org/dusk-to-dawn/)
Dark and mysterious, the tale of Dhalik is one filled with excitement and necromancy, with the plus of being recently updated! Ties in with Ayroh. Six chapters so far.
The Splintered Journey by Tsath (http://www.foundation-hub.org/the-splintered-journey/)
What happens when crazy people gradually become more sane? Characters tie in with Ayroh. A fun read! Also on Fanfiction.net.
Dance of Lead by Caerulei (http://www.foundation-hub.org/dance-of-lead/)
My own contribution to the Foundation project. A story of a crippled charr, his human best friend, and a highly unusual sylvari. First act takes place before Ayroh, but following acts are after. Ayroh, Ache, The Splintered Journey, and Lost Souls will all have cast members feature heavily.
Works on Hold:
The Forging by Ancelas (http://www.foundation-hub.org/the-chronicles-of-sorin-oakheart/)
Book One of an ongoing saga about a norn coming of age. More light-hearted but still action-packed with touches of romance.
Lost Souls by Sunroamer (http://www.foundation-hub.org/lost-souls/)
The author is going to focus more on art, however his character, Fujiko, will be in the third act of Dance of Lead.
So if you find yourself done with the personal story and wanting more Tyrian lore, check these stories out and tell what you think of them!
Though I really love the fact that I got two 15 slot bags, (first from the chest in LA, second in the mail) was this a bug? I don’t want to take advantage of an error.
If you find the Tyria Towertalk on a German site, there’s an interview with Ree Soesbee (or Jeff Grubb) but they say that Charr is the race most similar to humans in how they build romantic relationships. (aside from the militaristic culture, they have very similar romantic customs.)
As far as sexuality, well, their anatomy is so different I don’t know how that would work. Something between cats and humans?
Also, most instances where there seems to be anything sexual going on is purely up to the interpretation of the viewer, Anet made this game for 12 to 90, just keep that in mind. Obviously sex happens in the world, but Anet will likely never make most couples blatant.
Galina and Snarl are totally banging though…

7/10 XD Very funny!
Mine is Seven Steelwolf.
Seven because he was seventh sired (mommy didn’t know what to call him after daddy defected), Steel for the warband, wolf for his fur colour.
I don’t think the ranchers, mechanics, or merchants mind peaceful death too much, but they seem to be the minority of the populace. But whether they are warriors or not, I think all charr would prefer to go out with a bang, literally if possible. ;D
Even Ree Soesbee has referred to the Charr as “atheist”. But, there are exceptions, just because their society as a whole rejects the authority of gods, does not mean all charr do. I have not come across any, but Ree did say that religious (non-Flame legion) charr exist and actively worship their deity(ies) of choice.
In other words, for those RP-ers who dislike the idea of playing an atheist character (I know you are out there) you have options.
I’ve never rolled with Dinky… just Euryale and Mavvy. But I did ADORE him in the tutorial, it was so hard to chose against him.
Glad to see I’m not the only one annoyed with how they took the story. They split the game into three mostly disconnected parts, I wish there was more coherence. I hope the expansions have less in the way of separate stories and more of a unified tale so that the end feels like the completion of a novel.
As the story stands now, it’s great, I love it, but I miss my homies from lvls 1-20. (and Sieran ;_;)
The medium armour eyepieces look great on charr. Oh, and the blindfolds! There’s also a very nice top-hatty thing that looks good too.
I don’t seem to have this problem. Heavy, medium, and light armours all have several very ‘badkitten’ options. Tinkering with the dyes also make for some awesome sets. I suppose it’s a matter of opinion, but I love most charr armours.
P.S. (Check out the rare Noble crafted set for Charr medium… so, so, classy it’ll give any feline super swag)
From my understanding, charr mature as children faster than humans. In their early teens they can already take complete care of themselves. Charr rarely live to old age, but it’s within the range of human old age and not significantly different. Like how the average lifespan in Andorra is 82 while it is 68 in Belize. This is an oversimplification, but it seems to me they share a bit with felines in how their childhood is relatively short while their adult prime spans the vast majority of their life and old age swiftly leads to death.
Alright, the third try is the charm, it worked this time. But sometimes, when bringing the sheath out of the water it wigs out an dissappears.
There’s a bug in the personal story quest Stone Sheath. I get the sheath, swim back to the final location, and nothing happens. Just, nothing. So I can’t complete the quest.
Please fix :-)
