As a representative / member of the guild Thesaurum Venatores on the Aurora Glade server . We are looking for new members to help us build a robust guild. Please bare in mind that the guild is newly created and does not have all the trimmings (upgrades) like many guilds do – these will be acquired in due time. Congrats on recruiting new members Resurrected. Keep at it!!.

Have you thought of the name of the guild or do you want to collaborate before you settle on one??. Start up guilds have it really tough in recruiting new members. If you’re serious about this, then be prepared to stick at it (this will be crucial for the trying times). As it will be a tough slog. If you want some tips – I can give you some. Will members come in their droves, I can’t guarantee you that. But it’s a start.

The other problem with this is, that you get people who can get really impatient with you and just kick you out if you make mistakes – it happended to me. This abuse really does knock some of the players confidence who haven’t dungeoned before.

I’m not with this guild, but you can try Seaverse. They do rp. And they are on the Piken Square server.

Hi everyone : ),

Well I’m looking for a newly created guild, whose main focus is PvE. The member count is less than 10 (preferred), but if you have about 15 or so, that’s okay. My character(s) lvl aren’t that high, so WvW, sPvP and dungeon runs are ruled out (for now). Some tips on build etc will be greatly appreciated. There are however some prerequisite. The guild must be:

• casual
• friendly
• flexible

What I’m looking to do, is to help the guild grow and develop. It matters not as to which server the guild is on. I’m more than happy to represent the guild, since I’m on the Whiteside Ridge server. I also know as to how hard trying to get a newly created guild up and running is. And maybe even pass on as to what I’ve learnt.

Additional info:

If the guild leader or any of the guild members are in to anime, then it will certainly help to break the ice a lot faster. If not, no worries : ). I mostly solo, doing PvE levelling. I don’t mind helping people out. I’m also patient and friendly.

The other option is to do private selling. PM the crafter as to what needs to be made. The crafter then passes the item(s) on to the buyer via in-game mail. The major flaw is; whether or not the crafter / buyer will stick to the arranged agreement (payment etc).

It’s strange that this topic was brought up, because I was actually thinking of creating a crafting guild.

Maybe player trade can be suggested to Anet perhaps?.

That doesn’t make any sense. Why are you paying to be in the guild, when you’re doing all the hard work. To farm mats is time consuming – with the lion trade, your job is redundant. Even if the members did ask you, shouldn’t the guild member(s) pay you to farm for them?. Sounds like the guild you were in WoW, were taking you for a ride and rinsing you of your money.

What server are you guys on?.

Kind of defeats the purpose of teaming up with other players though.

So to the get gist of it. Last of the dragon knights [LDK], join or invite people to their party to do a dungeon run. Right at the end they kick people out that are not members of their guild and instead invite their own guild members to reap the reward. And this type of behaviour from them has occurred more than once. Best thing to do is keep bumping this thread up, so others know about it. And if it warrants it, report this guild.

I’ve also started my own guild, not too long ago. So we’re kind of in the same boat, I guess lol. It would be nice to make friends with other guild leaders from other guilds as well.
