For those who have reached 80, and those still leveling…
What has been your favorite zone in Tyria? Why is it your favorite?
So far mine is Dredgehaunt Cliffs, just because I absolutely love snowy landscapes.

Where is such Armor Erin? What part of the city?
So I only now figured out how to view the exotic armor.
I’ve done story mode CM, at what level should I try explorable? I’m a guardian, I love the great sword, but are guardians required to be a tank to do explorable? Should I wait until level 70 or 80 before I try explorable mode?
Thanks.
Gendarren Fields skillpoint?
I had a bugged one as well and just reported it a few times, logged in to a mini patch and it was fixed.
I went Thief at first and then at 20 after dying so much and seeing the same bland rotation, even though the skills look really nice visual wise, I got really bored.
I went ranger and enjoyed it, but decided on a guardian and have stuck to my guns and am closing in on level 60 now. Now that I see how easy it is to level through exploration, crafting and dungeons I’ve decided to definitely get another character to 80 sooner than later. Maybe the ranger or an elementalist this time.
Try not to stress too hard about it. Stick to your guns on what you like, and then just make another.
Hi,
I’m level 54 currently. I’m curious about where dungeons go to in this game. I really like the lack of trash and more plot/boss/loot/lots of XP, but I’m curious…
At any point are there actual armor sets from dungeons? Why do dungeons like CM give so much XP? And is the tank/dps/cc/heals approach viable in this game? In all the groups I’ve done people just rush in. Being a Great Sword Guardian I get destroyed on half of the bosses I do. I’ve enjoyed the DPS approach with conditions thus far and don’t really want to spec a tank, but may want to some day.
If anybody can answer these questions I’d really appreciate it.
Level 45 and I’ve been using a Great Sword since I could wield one. I’ve had few issues leveling, generally I can take 2-4 enemies with ease so long as I have burning on my enemies and my heal when I get low on health.
So far I’ve put 13 in Zeal, 12 in the precision/crit trait, and 10 in Virtue for boons.
Fiery Wrath, Blind and Master of Consecrations are my 2nd trait passives.
I generally go for a little more power over precision, but both our high. My health is about 4.5k at 45. All my sockets are filled with precision/condition.
Am I doing anything wrong? I’d really appreciate some tips.
Hi,
I’ve reached level 45 but I’m a bit confused about how dungeons work.
Are there full sets from drops in dungeons? Also, I tried to do CM earlier but couldn’t do story mode as my first run. It only let me my party in to do explore mode which we wiped on pretty badly.
Also, at what levels are mystic coins capable of creating decent items for my level? I know there’s a discovery sort of panel at the forge but am totally confused as to how it works or if it’s worth doing at my level or end game.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Is WvW unplayable for anybody else? (Excruciatingly low FPS)

While out questing I generally have 40 FPS on average, despite any setting, all low, or all high, it seems having a lot of players on the screen always determines how well the game runs for me. All high, or all low really makes zero difference for me.
If I’m out alone or doing story quests, I get 60 FPS. During events, I get about 25-30. In WvW I fluctuate between 20 to 60 until a siege of opposing players comes out of the wood work, which plummets my framerate down to at least 5, just unplayable.
i5, GTX 460 here. I mean, if I have to sacrifice WvW just to play I will, but I would prefer if the insane amount of players on the screen was cut down a bit or something. It’s brutal.
Hi,
1) Are there cloaks/capes in this game? I never noticed until now that my character had no cloak, being used to WoW here. I’ve always loved them, though.
2) Does WvW lag for anybody else? I run the game at 40-50 FPS on average, but during my first WvW game once a real siege began I could barely get up above 5 FPS.
3) What kind of end-game goals are there, and where will I find the first dungeon? I’m only level 20 at present.
Thanks.
