Honestly, I don’t think we need another condition. If our staff fear and DS fear gets increased by 1 second on default. We can then spec into soul reaping and get 3 seconds of fear each then we would have 6 seconds of fear total. our condition damage can do a lot in 6 seconds I think.
Also right now I think I was on my thief and I stole a 3.5 second fear off a ghost… a stealth dps class can fear longer right now with 1 skill than both our skills combined with speccing into fear which adds 50% duration… that’s messed up.

I’ve been playing many hours on sPvP on necro… I’m loving the flesh golem more and more. Lich Form is great until you run into a warrior that destroys you. Flesh golem’s charge and damage is great against most classes.
What are other people using for elite form? WvW/dungeons I usually go lich and for sPvP, flesh golem

LOL, how are these developers coding up this game? I always and only get 30. Some people get 15, 12,16, 1, 20, 45, etc…
This is amazing to me how bad the coding is. I mean come on…

LOL, I have ran 4-5 dungeons and every one of them has some kind of exploit that other players have told me about and showed me. I did talk about it here and how dungeons suck. If they ban people for talking about exploiting, they might as well ban everyone since 99% of people do it. This game will have no more players anymore. I have stopped running dungeons because I can’t get 60 tokens/run. I refuse to do more effort than people who aren’t bugged.

Maybe the reason why ANET gave us a short fear is because we have two fears when using staff. Maybe they see it as oh you can fear 1 second from staff then another 1 second from ds. Honestly after playing more and more spvp. I would give up DS for some buffs in fear duration, stability, and might.

Actually, I love the DR system. I have realized how great it is. People in the guild are playing less because there is no point to do dungeons more than once a day, especially when you can’t even get 60 shards on the first run of the day. This frees up time for everyone to stop playing this game and go back to real life. No longer will there be hours and hours of shard farming. Thanks ANET.

Forgot a couple more issues I saw last night running Arah path 4:
The fight with the boss that spawns the poison trees and the ooze flying back and forth… if you stand in a certain spot you don’t get hit. Also if you stay all the way back you can just slowly dps the boss down… really fun.
The fight with the priestess mesmer boss… she bugged out at 30% hp. Just sat there with arms open and we dpsed her down. Good fight.

Ha, dungeons are terrible in GW2. We did this fight last night. When we got her to around 30% hp, she glitched and didn’t do anything but sit there and take damage…

Question: Was GW1 dungeons this bad? How long did it take to fix GW1 dungeons?
So sure, we should all cut the developers some slack since this is the first time they are designing dungeons without the holy trinity of classes, but come on… GW2 dungeons have become comical.
I’ve never played any other MMO seriously except for WoW and GW2, but come on… this is way below standards. Did people put up with this for GW1? I’ve always heard great things from people who played GW1… I can’t image GW1 dungeons being this horrible.
There is no balance and some of these fights are just kitten Example: Chain suicide during Magg fight… that was extremely entertaining. TA’s poison vine fight was just sit in a corner and do dps and hopefully you won’t get hit by poison circles. TA’s final battle is stay all the way back so you don’t have too many spiders running around. CoF’s last fight is walk through a crack and destroy the crystal… what instance path is fun and challenging and not bugged/exploitable? If there is no waypoint/running back system/reset pull if all wipe, how many groups can actually finish these dungeons?
After spending hours doing a dungeon for the first time, it’s a crap shoot to how many shards you will get at the end. I’ve never seen 60 shards since patch.
Sigh… Patience…. all there is. Time to level alt I guess they till fix dungeons. Would also be great if they fixed the 100 necromancer bugs.

I ran CoF first time ever 2 days ago and got 30 tokens, did TA for the first time and got 30 tokens… Never have I seen 60 tokens
I guess it’s not all bad… some people seem to get less than me while others actually get 60

So we had issues with the final boss. I think his name was Gigantic or something like that. He drops red circles, charges at you and fire bolts at you. I think each is around 13k damage or so? So if you were hit by 2 things you automatically die. you guys beat that boss with ease? I think we took the last option on that list. Not sure if that’s considered path 4? I was told we all finish on that final boss.

Lol, I love this game. I completed this with a pug group. Instances now in GW2 has resorted to chain dying and kiting for a given amount of time… classic. I’m so glad ANET fixed things. Oh yeah you can jump through a crack and finish the final fight without doing anything… I’m glad they fixed everything.
Oh btw thanks for the 30 tokens instead of 60.

Spent 3+ hours in Arah last night. Got to the final boss and couldn’t beat him. I think we were all just tired at that point. I see no point to do Arah anymore. It was a good pub group and we couldn’t beat the last boss. Choices to get Condition damage, toughness, and precision gear just decreased for me. I guess I have to try TA now.

So I just spent 3 hours in Arah. Had a great group but couldn’t get the last boss under 50% HP. That last boss is pretty tough… is the easiest way to get Condition damage, toughness, and precision now running TA? Is that our only hope? I want exotic gear only so am I down to 1 option now?

Wait… so every class’s bleeds do the same amount of damage based on gear?
It’s just the way you apply it is different? What about poison?

A follow up question… in WoW people created all these addons that kept track of spell cooldowns… was there anything like that for GW1? It would be great if I knew all my skill timers since I swap weapons and go into ds frequently.

So I haven’t done tpvp only spvp(limited), wvw, pve, and dungeons, so I haven’t felt Necromancers to be underpowered but I don’t know much about other classes either. I have definitely noticed a lot of bugs with certain skills/traits and tooltip, etc… but it hasn’t made me feel underpowered yet. Really wish they fix corrupt boon though.
Is there data out there comparing certain classes in terms of hard numbers proving that our lets say condition damage is not the best if we spec that way?
For example, If I pick necromancer and put 30pts in curses and have all condition damage gear where i have lets say around 1350 condition damage. With scepter skill #1, I do this much bleed damage/poison damage compared to lets say engineer(been reading that engineers do more condition damage than necros which I think sucks since I picked necro because I thought I’d do the most DOTs) Do they have a skill that can spam condition damage better than us? Consider both play style and absolute damage numbers with cooldowns, etc?
I’ve been reading a lot of claims but I haven’t seen any real data and play style explained. If there is already a post on this please direct me to the comparison data. First time playing a DOT based “tank” class so I’m not sure how everything worked in GW1.
BTW, I think death shroud should wipe all conditions and make us immune to conditions since we can’t see thekittenconditions in the first place that means it doesn’t exist right?

So I’ve tried running the game with and without crossfire on the latest drivers and profiles. Same result… Without crossfire my game performs a lot better and with crossfire I get higher fps but during WvW and personal story missions where there’s a lot of on screen projectiles and effects, the frame rate would drop to 2-5fps. It basically then plays catchup. Please fix crossfire.
