Well was at least 6 XxX around after you left then. As they were there until I left. Was hard to make out exactly what guilds were there as you were just a blob for farming

And how were we losing? We were ticking in 1st most the night, and most the day too. Pretty impressive losing that. Our usual weak weekend and we made up about 10k today so if that is losing then i hope we keep losing

Danger… how many points did you gain in your time on your boarder? We were just farming you (3-4levels, 5k a level, from just kills. And alot were worthless as you died so often).

Was actually about 45 people though btw. So not as bad as you seem to think. And what did we succeed at? Well we kept WvW, Dius, XxX of our boarder whilst putting in very little effort and….. HAVING FUN.

By keeping you all busy there. We were pretty much 70-100pts a tick ahead of Gandara all night (and alot more ahead of RS). Simply because we had most of your best players held up and away from our holdings.

Last night we took RS garrison (we = AG). Nothing left to do so we went to EB. Fury then went back to RS to defend because they all left EB when we arrived. . . just to find that the place had got seige capped with rams and so they couldnt defend it as well as they could have.

We had no problems with this happening all these weeks of playing Barach Bay, then RS come down and it happening to both servers. . . Shouldnt be surprised though as the german servers were always the biggest cheats since the start (they orb hacked and garrison watergate abused more than the spanish/euro servers)

If it where I think, then there are “legit” ways to get up there but I put it down to buggy terrain. You know, like the way around the garrison watergate in the old days that the German servers all loved to exploit (as did other servers, but german servers seemed the worst).

But I try bring it to Jacky’s attention tomorrow if i remember in the evening.

The retaliation point above is exactly right. Seige would be made completely worthless (more than it already is in some situations). Basically you would shoot 5 times and it be dead. Hell with the zerg fest at the moment an arrowcart would die in a single salvo if retaliation still affected them

I think the funniest one though was when the BB blob was in hills camping the outter wall after we took it off them… and whilst they stood about there and failed to take it with double our numbers they lost Garrison again due to it being pretty much undefended.

And respect to the 4 NUKE guys just now that almost took AG garrison (2 golems, a mesmer and 1 other). Luckily someone popped on to check after Hills was lost – assume that was you too – else that would have went too.

Just a few examples of past week…

I know BB some times had to use blob but… just to be able to kill yours blobs.. If one server play bloby bloby, the other servers have to play blobs too to counter it, or you’ll win almost all battles…

Well there was a huge blob/zerg straight after reset in our Borderlands, if you check the images you can quite clearly see this is not even numbers, this is just by hills, where you were waiting for reinforcements before engaging although you already outnumbered us. Btw this was all the KISS on after reset

Yeahy, you got a screenshot of me dancing with DsD and they backed up more when i approached them to do it

We were roughly equal numbers (between the guilds), but GWSD or something similar had 10 or so always by you, and you cant see those behind us in the keep that would have joined in. Not once would you engage us until you had more backup and even then it took you ages to kill a much smaller group then yours. The garrison fight showed how even with superior numbers we could outlast you and wear you down. May have took us 10-15minutes but we beat the odds.

Now Im not complaining. I like the loot, just find it hilarious how you come trying to defend yourselves as guilds and non-zergers when clearly DsD wont engage alone unless really pushed.

CS/NUKE. I have respect for them for constantly trying to do things on smaller scale but it involved Garrison and we couldnt give them any leeway in regards to defending that, especially as they showed they were happy to sit in the enemy zerg it was clear that once they got it open the zerg would be called in anyways

Was a bit of a dull reset on AG boarderland… DsD wouldnt push when they outnumber 2:1 … they had to wait for Nuke and/or CS plus others to make it 4:1 before they would engage. Was tough to get any real fights going with play like that.

Eventually you got into our garrison, then you logged off. Guess losing to 1/4 of your numbers without any seige up is humiliating but it no reason to up and quit on mass! DsD, CS, Nuke … none remained. Was hoping for a bit more fun, given that you had broken just about everything you could in there

Oh and NUKE… thanks for repairing all the doors at hill for us. We are very grateful for the hard work you done in saving supply runs

It was a 3 way… thing is each of your sides had at least triple our number. We were hoping to take advantage of you fighting each other but in the end we got bored watching you lot just looking at each other and neither side willing to make a move.

As such, we weighed up our options and in boredom decided to push into the lord room and clear the seige and cause some mayhem. It worked and we got some kills and drops. And ended the standoff… we didnt care how it ended, just that it did

So funny reading all these. Especially XxX and their “playstyle”. They moan about Fury/Kiss or Fury/Unity working together when the XxX playstle is the exact same thing as them guilds do together.

Playstle steps as follows:
1) A fight is engaged where 2 sides are fighting each other
2) Said sides are focused on each other
3) Flank the 2 engaged sides and get some easy kills
4) – XxX mainly – Oh look we are amazing we beat greater numbers then we got, honest them other 50 people hitting them before we arrived dont exist!

I wont mention that XxX choose to go to Noob-Land (EB) to do it also.

Hope you send us a gift for helping you on your bay! You seemed to be a bit too scared to push in so figured we would have to take our guys to help you out. Though made us laugh that your zerg wouldnt push and we got 4 people run through both zergs to get portal action going.
Even then we had to then push the lord room with 1/3rd of your numbers to get you to be willing to take it back from BB

Nice fight up at hills on gandara. Well snuck in through the north door whilst BB focused ours Gandara. Didnt think we would get it off you but somehow did…. but we were “wtf happened” when it first flipped

erm, BB were in T4 for a month remember, and they didnt win every week. So clearly you were the stronger server else you been back here long ago.

This is a close matchup, there is no humilation unless you care about the scores to be fair. And if you do then it Gandara that would be humilated as they the only ones to LOSE rating. Rest have gained a fair amount.

If you want to know what was going on there. There was huge gandara and fsp blobs up at the tunnel between bay and supply. 20 people cant kill 70+ people (aoe cap remember).

With that in mind each guild had their own seperate job. Reddit went one way, Kiss and Fury went the other. Once Reddit had smashed into them from their side the rest of us slashed through the rear ranks of them and we met up in the middle, rezzed and destroyed the rest.

We were actually still outnumbered even with the 3 sets working together, and though we could have wiped the enemy without all 3, probably just 2 sets, it was the best option at teh time to use the full force available to demorilise the blob.

And guess what… right after that FSP left the map and we got to go our own ways again until we had to take a fully defended keep and needed some additional people (2 groups went, 3rd roamed… with other people doing their own thing)

only reason to run JP is for free seige. Takes 15s of WvW to get the badges you get from the chest. I have got about 2k badges whilst leveling my ele in WvW. They just rain down on you now

logged out a couple hours ago but had some interesting fights. Lost some, won some. Was a lot of blobbing but we tried to work around that. Yes Fury, Reddit and Kiss (small LoE party with kiss too as we work with them alot) worked together but often went own way until needed to join up.
Even when we joined up we tried to not just be a big blob. loved looking at the map to see 3 commanders staggered with their own personal followers. One group pulled off and got the majority of the attention, the others run flanking movement and crushed the enemy between the sets.

Would like to thank YAK. You were one of the few guilds that I recognise as also trying to keep things smaller scale when possible. Yes you are willing to blob up (like everyone) but only when you deem to have no choice.

Almost got my ele to 80 now. Done nothing but WvW on him starting 11 days ago. It has been a great experience this week compared to last week and has helped me to refine my positioning in fights greatly. When you fighting KISS and find half your zerg stunned by a staff Ele then wave to the LoE member. I actually finding great pleasure in stunning and splitting the enemy in that manner, especially just as they run through a Veil for stealth ;D
Mind you, that could be because part of my "WvW level challenge was to only use drops I personally recieve or manage to get from using the mystic forge (again only using the drops i get) meant my damage and survivability is poor so running in a manner that aids the group before i leech of downed people is more benefical.

Now i got to seriously think if I will play my main (mesmer, commander and now on a new spec) which I am well trained in portal movement with), my necro which is great for marking enemy portals before they pop through and whom is a complete kittenty thing!, or the elementalist which we actually seem to lack on the server a lot.

Of course there also the option to level up a warrior (he will be a master of seige), or a guardian. But I think I will pve them up in my downtime.

looking forward to the final day of the match. If FSP split apart their zerg a bit more often i would like this to be a more regular matchup. Provides a bit of everything

Actually it this amazing thing called Voice Comms and someone relaying a message they recieved. The ability to use these two things is actually amazing in keeping people in the loop as to what is happening

You just proved our point though. 15 of us on your boardland… you came with over 60 people to fight us. Sorry but not even a 15man guild group can wipe 4 times their number with skill lag etc. Skill is useless when even if you react fast the server can not handle it.

Im not in any of them guilds . . . but KISS for one started off with about 12 people + a few others of us going off on our own. When you meet 50+ enemy groups you got no choice but to co-op with other guilds.

Just because it guilds working together and slaughtering enemy most the time doesnt discount the fact that often it forced on them at the moment.
Hell I saw Yak/IC and dozens of others running together for hours and was wiped multiple times because we tried to not run one mega-zerg.

So if you gandara – stop whining and look at what your own people were doing (They may have been forced to it by FSP as it was FSP boarder.)

If you are FSP then I can do nothing but laugh. Dont think you really got any guilds that move on their own below 40 people.

worst thing about the patch:

Make 5 golems, 15minutes later when in full flow and taken wildcreek a patch is announced. Port golems back and disembark for them to despawn still anyways.

Later on – decided to take fully upgraded enemy overlook in EB … make 7 golems, breach the outter, get to inner, start on inner… EB map crashes, golems lost… when eventually it comes back up we have to spend another hour to get the keep

Aye the blobs are insane atm.
Start off on a smaller scale, all of a sudden there was about 90 fsp smashing into bay as well. lol.
Meant to do anything you had to counter their numbers. It was absolutely insane. But least you could see things and try to react.

Was some good larger scale fights even though not my main focus. Was fun just awhile ago at north east gandara supply camp when you had all the trebs up. Fury smashed into you, distracted and then kiss and some of us others smashed into your flank. Was a massacre.

Only got same size blobs if we stop running around in smaller numbers splitting forces in an attempt to make it more fun then “spam 1 and hope for best” :P

my god… i want culling back so i dont see the true size of the FSP blob. Do any of you guys not hold hands? had to be your entire map full of people inside Gandara Bay. Guess it definately is good bye to smaller scale fights for the rest of the week judging by that oO

A PvDoor alliance. Surelly 400 people are enough to take down doors with no defense. I know you lose 40 man zergs to 5 defenders but you must have got a bit better by now!

Im loving them being out and zerging around… the loot is raining off them even more than normal. Though without the easy flipping of keeps my new project is a bit slower but sure that will sort itself out in a couple of days.

Im actually wondering if my new character will personally get enough badges for a full armour set when he hits 80 as got 140 badges in about 4-5hrs play and only lvl 12 It may be the benefit of not allowing any pve on this one. lol. (not that i need more badges, overflowing with them currently)

Sorry about the BB side of the EB map last night (this morning)…. I was asked to place down a couple of golems to be made and it turned out that we went from 1700 supply to 0 supply in our main keep.

Guess a few to many were built, especially considering it was just meant to be a distraction to pull people to EB and allow moves to be made elsewhere.

On a less sarcy and playful note!

Been an interesting week. Sometimes really zergy but managed to have some really good small group fights (10-15 vs 20-25 for instance). Giving LoE a chance to actually mess around whilst not demanding people to play set classes/builds.

Think the most fun was Thursday night though when had 6 of us defending the NE spanish BL supply camp for an hour or so. Seemed to have constant fights and wasnt till 20 or so came along we lost it.

Thanks for the fun fights, and looking forward to this week. Got a better start than last time but will see how it goes.

Already ran into the german bot zerg. Guess this going to be another dull week against the usual things you find against their servers!

Was trying to run round as a group of 4 people. was impossible as took just 15seconds between escaping one 25+ man zerg to run into another one.

To be honest, why would they not straight line initially? You hit the enemy where they are strongest (generally centre mass), you split apart their group so they no longer benefiting from turtling type setup (even if not on purpose, most pugs benefit from aoe cap), and once you taken out the initial threat you then deal with the remains.

Judging by your comment, you basically split off to the side and ran away, so they miss out on a possible 2 BoH and some trash loot … whilst still wiping out the mass of enemies so that they are unable to complete whatever task they were conducting.

So tell me, what is wrong with such a situation?

(And I am not NP, I dont know of any of them, just talking about basic tactics here)

Rams need to be coded so that they cannot be placed on the ground unless they’re within a certain proximity of a gate. Problem solved. At least if you get trolled with arrow carts or catas they can be put to use.

totally disagree. rams are handy in a seige defense. there is a reason you see them in a lord room.. give you a hint, it has something to do with fire!

To be fair, LoE have no issue against GH. But we do know we will have good fun fights from them as well as we need to go there for Ghostie hunts

Haha. We made it a home in the end. Just took awhile whilst fighting the entire GH server

Watched ghostie’s video of the final lord fight… and saw my pm’s in it… she never did tell me who that guardian outside dawns was that laughed at me for not chasing them back to the keep… but you notice LoE werent in Hills at the end.

Was a laugh for awhile at Hills and we even helped you out once by coming in and attacking FS. Did ask what door our little quaggan lover wanted us to help at but again she didnt respond so we just helped make them run out the north gate like little girls. Before getting splattered by GH.

But the defense was brilliant, however we used poor tactics by just playing in the one keep and not worrying about the rest of the map. In end LoE just decided to play the distractors and hit Dawns so that you had to at least partially split up your force as 15 people can make a big difference. Not sure if pulling out the ones we did, or just that people got bored defending made the difference but that was when eventually got Hills but of course couldnt get Dawns

I do love the sheer stubborness and community of GH. Always is entertaining and score is meaningless in the end.

P.S.
For the FS player saying AG dont belong in this tier. You will find that we sit between tiers. Gandara etc above us have us outmanned everywhere, whereas this tier we have the upper number .. but with that said FS actually have alot of players also and are pretty much on our level of numbers. Like you we can put out players to hold our boarder to a degree, our part of EB, and have a decentish force elsewhere. However we have to focus our target and even primetime can be spread thin in enemy boarders.

oi fab. your guys are mean. Just because i throw them around a bit of a small cliff you had to mass jump me outside woodhaven when I was just playing with the unguilded ele.
He was a lowbie and I didnt have the heart to attack them. So just stood being attacked waving taking little damage till SoE came along

Been a laugh… I hired kiss to abuse my portals between garrison and dawns. Was laughing at it tbh. Everytime GH pushed forward i would wander out, pick a random xaoc russian to aim for and put the portal right on their head. Anything else was just collateral damage. sorry about that

Other then that, just some small time roaming and fighting and dying… think in the bigger fights the server had freakouts. Especially when SoE stealthed to hit kiss on the flank, and in turn i stealthed the KISS zerged second later. Server didnt seem to know what to do and lots of players suddenly appeared in a down state 20s later. heh.

People talk about bannings for sending a few gold and that all they ever done, yet i have transfered 100g+ at a time to guildies to complete their legendaries and then they returned it back to me no problem. Also done gold with 2*50 T6 materials in the mail. No issue..

Though I do actually prefer to use my personal guilds bank in order to transfer things to other people i trust, and therefore I place it in there and invite them to my Banking guild and allow them to take what they need from there .. probably less likely to flag up as possibly RMT like that

I guess now isnt a good time to tell you that the weapons purchased from her cant be put into the mystic forge?
