first off, it’s a game, and calling anyone in it “scum” just makes you look like a complete fool.
second, if you didn’t find the mesmer, it’s your kitten fault for not sweeping correctly.
third, if the mesmer WAS hiding in a false wall, you can’t say you wouldn’t do the same.
anyway, DB is winning by 25k+ points, there’s no reason to be so upset.
there’s been some talk of DB teaming up with EB too, and I wouldn’t be surprised if that were true.

well you see here is that its an exploit and if you had gonna and read my then next post you might have not need to say anything also referring to scum is decent word even if we are winning we took SM fair and square and when your mezmers have the kitten to use an exploit IE cheating i would call that lower than scum shows your character that you shouldn’t be on this tier or any tier for that matter if you want to play unfair as well the dev is also to blame that is why i have alrdy contact Anet about it and have receive a response on it. also he here is a coupe, pic on the area on which the mezmer used the exploit to by pass the walls

Also, YB AND EB need to accept the fact that DB has a huge overnight presence, oh well, we live with it. DB you guys need to accept the fact that they carry you. Doesn’t mean you’re bad during NA Hours, but jus don’t act like there’s another reason you’re in T4.

If Yaks’ ppl kept thinking what they have done is legit then just kept doing it. It really doesn’t matter. I won’t say DB is the cleanest server but I can clearly remember 1 month ago when DB fighting DH in T5, 1 mesmer offer portal to SM inner (hold by DH for hours), all commanders shouted in channel telling ppl don’t take the portal coz we don’t believe that it’s legit. And guess what? No one from DB went to that free portal. For me, that’s the reason why I am still in DB (since day1). And I believe it is also part of the reason why more and more guilds think about xfer to DB. It’s all about server reputation. Yes someone always like to exploit, but the majority population is still enjoying play the legit game.

Keep in mind that for all this time, we knew a mesmer was inside inner SM. We knew that some of them are exploiting, one was in lord room wall trying to hide then Wp’d out once found, one was abusing hiding in the wall on the 2nd floor. You can see the npcs move around and yet no enemy visible. I am here, telling you with a straight face, we had 10-20 people patrolling SM inner. We were honestly waiting for the exploiting mesmer(s) to portal Yak’s in. This is all happening 2-4 hours after SM has been flipped over the past two days.

Do not mistake my post for acusing yak’s to be an exploiting server, I’m not saying that. Yesterday, Yak’s was portalled into SM inner so long after being flipped that the walls were upgraded, the doors and workers were upgraded and the WP was halfway done. Today, it took another 2 hours, and that entire time, everyone in EBG knew there was a mesmer in SM inner. We saw mesmers exploiting, we were constantly trying to fight a frankly needless fight against exploiters and then you think that we must have missed that mesmer? We looked in every legitimate spot and quite a few not legitimate. These mesmers that are offering portals hours after SM was flipped are exploiting. Stop taking their portals because I don’t believe you to be a server that encourages such behavior.

Want to hear an amazing idea that none of you will agree with? Make a legendary weapon that can be got in wvwvwv, and lost in wvwvw to whoever kills you (most dmg, or whatever). That you get to keep as long as you are active in wvwvw or you die. That would be “legendary” to see. Right now I just murder all the twilight and sunrise people in seconds since I’ve yet to find someone with a legendary who can pvp

I usually target them first actually. It’s like a giant “look how awesome I am!” Stamp so I enjoy stomping them out

It’s not hard to get ascended gear, it doesnt even take much time to get it. 7-8 hours for a ring after lvl 10. Getting nice gold in the proccess. 45 mins of your gametime per day. Thats not asking much from the players.

I currently do dailies with 4 toons, they all have 15 AR besides my mesmer who sits at 10 since hes missing his cloak. I have around 10 leftover rings in bank (hope they add so you can toss 4 in the MF for a random new one). Saving up for my next toon now while getting relics for my mesmers cloak.

Not everyone has the time to play this much.

Dragon brand has kind of put themselves in too high of a tier I think. Their oceanic presence whipes the entire map and gets them high points overnight, but they’re NA presence is always on the low end of getting points . If they bump up another tier it might not be pretty

Love WvWvW… but when 2 people are attacking SM and you cant even use your skills. That should be addressed. Hopefully in the culling update we can fix that

I know its been said a bunch, but its such a waste of a skill due to the awful animation. rarely ever hits ANYTHING unless they are standing still.

its nice for the evade if your low on endurance…. but it 100% needs a change so that its actually reliable to hit them.

This might not be possible, but can’t you just make a client side setting where someone can essentially turn “culling back on” and have their game throttle info if their min spec pc can’t handle it? Rest of us can just have no culling then if our pc can handle it?

legendaries are a legendary waste of time to me, you don’t need the legendary bow so dont devote your life to it, just take your time. and 1200+hours is a ridiculous amount of game time, you could be baller rich.

Gw2 is built around net needing dedicated healers. Who are you playing with that I so bad you have to do nothing but heal. I run shout build warrior occasionally and it’s good for heals, you can be a heal class, so what you are asking for is to do nothing but sit back and heal? Why?

These are very poor ideas haha. And all this “Zerg” talk is a cop out. Wvw is large armies fighting large armies. just case you have less people on at a time it should not punish a server with lots. this is war, not “moooooom tommy has more toys then me, punish him!”

I melee 80% of the time. 95% in wvw. And I’m not “full tank”, it’s very easily doable. you’re just not building the class right. Redo traits and armor

Take away the randomness of getting them (rings for now). The original dungeons never felt too “grindy” because I knew i need 6 runs for this, 3 for this, 2 for this, whatever. For me to sit and do dailys, non stop, praying for 2 of the ring I want, is beyond grindy. Id rather play a little Flavor of the month every once in a while if I knew I’d for sure get what I wanted eventually. None of this random, cant trade crud.

You want to try and make the game a bit grindier with ascended items? ok, fine, ill stomach it. but doing it this way really does go against everything you guys said about this game.

I play warrior and have 0 problems with thieves. only thing thats annoying is so many stealths to just run away. but yeah, not a big deal.

this is a solid matchup, and wont mind if teams dont switch for another week or two

Basically, if a different height is involved IE, someone is below you and you use it on the ground, it will not go off properly. So say in WVW if someone is down some stairs and you try to use it to jump down on them, it doesnt drop down to the ground, Skill finishes before you ever touch the ground, not hitting anyone.

What I find silly is people complaining about portal bombing… How did they see you to kill you? Aoe nothing? I’ve seen culling issues but mostly minor things. It exists, but I feel people are exaggerating a bit, though I understand different Internet/rigs

ive fought some solid guild groups from maguuma. pretty kitten coordinated, havent seen that from CD at all. I assume there are good players obviously, but all i ever notice is cleaning up zergs but eventually running because you cant go up against 50+ forever. unfortunate since we cant compete with constant night caps which put them way up every day

I’m looking to do some explorable arah runs. Hard to get groups together so I thought I’d put this here, just add me and when I’m on we can try to get a group going. I’ll be trying to do them all week.

Nightcapping scoring ideas. One idea I had was to make it so that if a server has say, only 5 people on WVW at a certain time, and lets say one server has 50 and just took over the entire maps. Perhaps make the points they are earning less? So that instead of say +600, the server does some math so that if no one from opposing servers is on it only gives maybe +200 per tick tally. Or if literally noone was, only +100?

This would make it so that a server can still get points, so it allows people to still cap and help out, but if one server has people overseas helping them out and another doesnt, its impossible for the non EU helped server to win. Look at this weeks matchup of CD ehmry and Maguuma. We dont have any chance of beating CD simply because every night we go to sleep, they take over entire board and jump way ahead. kinda pointless.

A way of lowering points earned if no other servers are even fielding anyone would help greatly as it prevents servers jumping Way too ahead early on and then people just giving up.

And before you say “but noones time is worth more!” these are North American servers. So they should be built around our time zone. Im not going to go on a European server and complain things arent built around my time zone.

This is the first mmo where you have everything handed to you on a plate and too many options for the casual crowd to get into high end gear. People in here saying they want rollbacks on gear now ? Some of us are running fractals 10+ on a daily basis because we are gamers afterall and we don’t expect everything to be served on a silver plate. Wow… Just wow. This is the crowd that we want to play gw2? Guild wars has always even about skill based Pvp. People are complaining that this messes with wvw balance… Not everything is about you standing in lions arch with a sweet new backpack

Wow. How can people not understand that a lot of us play guild wars for its Pvp. An actual Pvp game built around a low barrier gear cap, that actually focused on skill. people like us DON’T MIND a little grind. But it’s pointless, this new content would be great, but there’s no real purpose/need for higher stats. Yes, statistics matter, you obviously don’t Pvp at a high level if you think 1 guy having 150 more stats is “trivial.” It’s a joke and really stinks of someone forcing this onto a game that just needed more CONTENT, not new mechanics

Whats funny is that if you played when the first GW came out, forums were in uproar because ANET forced PVPERS to play all the way to the end of the campaign in order to farm elite skills for use in PVP arenas (you had to capture it while an elite mob used it). people were mad and it took ANET too long to fix some of the issues, lost alot of players.

Fast forward to today, same situation, different subject.

Edit: tried fractal dungeons, got burnt out after a couple tries… have no motivation to grind content for some stat upgrades…. big difference in grinding because you want something (skin) and grinding because you have to have it in order to compete (ascended gear if all armor is released)
