If you look at TA dungeon. Those blossom get obstructed most of the time you’re trying to kill it with guns or non-AOE shot/missiles.

The spider boss sometime get obstructed as well in open room…

3 day list -> Item and listing fee are returned once the 3 days is over.

I think one of the biggest problems right now is that people don’t ever take items off the TP because there is NO way to recover the listing fee. This means items just sit there, and as soon as they are undercut they sit there forever and never sell. It is causing the market to be clogged up with things at values that can’t even be sold (buy orders below vendor price) and items whos prices are no longer valid and will never sell, just filling up database space.

I bet we would see a vast performance boost if they removed items after 3 days as well.

That is the issue I’m seeing. As soon you list, you are charged with a fee and if you remove the listing. You’ll never get it refund. So the item you’re trying to re-list lost value.

I cannot wait. The Lion Trade market is x10 bigger than any MMO and it definitely need more filters. I’m not going to flip 200 pages to find my items and constantly hitting out of the game (alt-tab) Guildhead.com and gw2db.com websites to preview links and pre-filters.

i keep my SSD clean and below 70% used space (especially if it’s also the windows partition) and do not have such issues.

i just noticed that the character-selection screen loads for 2 seconds…but that could be the case earlier, before the october 7th patch, too.

if you look at a loading screen biased, while thinking “man, i heard that it loads slower now”, then it will be slower – guaranteed. :P

No Wauwi, I’ve ran the map many time back and fore + dungeons waypoints before the patch. It was quick at loading as always. But now it takes longer to load and it is very obvious.

Everything is fast for me before the patch or changes. It is clearly not my system problem or placebo effects. My system is screaming fast at anything you throw at it.

Take CoF dungeon, loading the very first waypoint from the end boss. Took a while without any reason why for such a small instance map.

Loading into Mists takes like 20-30 sec.

I think the issue is when you spin your camera, it zoomed in a bit and back out if you do it quickly.

My other system with Core i7 (4 CPUs) + Geforce 330GT runs GW2 on none still get 10-35fps.. That system is like low end and newer than yours.

… Are you serious. Your PC is old. There are no problems I agree but its’ too old.

If you want to hit 98FPS… follow my system spec. with 2x GTX680 ($1000)

GW2 game engine is quite intense on CPU. Your CPU is pulling everything behind.

If you don’t agree, well good luck.

Also you cannot compare Apple to Orange because Aion, WoW engine are built on different engines and generations.

As the title said, I know I’m not the only one experiencing this at all.

The game load time is pretty much doubled over the last patch and I am on Corsair Force GT and a Vertex 4.

Both turns out the same results. All the SSD are tweaked in the Windows since GW2 Betas. It ran fine and fast.

Now it’s just taking longer than I expected. Even zoning into the Mists (A simple map).

Updates: Loading time after patch of Oct 11, it seem to have improved.

You know the bar on the RIGHT edge of the minimap… move your mouse to the center of it… till you see a HAND. then move it down.

The UI can be move around, it was designed intentionally.

1. Disable the ability to mail money.

2. Hire in-game GM, or someone is pro at identifying bots. Like many of us are.

Yeah, some items I salvaged (gems) still soulbound to a character. I am a bit confused what exactly the patch meant to fix.

I think they made this change to avoid gear clipping bugs

GTX660Ti SLI should be able to handle 60FPS average and WvW expect FPS dip even on GTX680 SLI unless you run at Mid settings for WvW.

Windows 8 performs better due they manage the CPU better than Win7.

As the title said, I wish to use Overwolf program which is a overlay over game just like Steam overlay that allows you to chat and browse.

The reason I want this because I am sticking to Full Screen mode for SLI to work but I’m getting tired of alt-tabbing in and out of the game.

It’s a third party program clearly but I’ve seen some information and even advertisement Overwolf for GW2.

Maybe someone can post up what’s allowed to use and not.

Just to confirm this as well. Food buff is fine but those pot are disappearing while entering the story zone.

Problem is that .dat file is something we cannot change. If the file size is different the game will auto re-update and replace it. Pretty much I think it’s HASH coded.

I’ve gotten these GTX680 before 670 was announced months later. You’re going off the edge here, we are here to help the OP and he wants to run GW2 at max. That was his desire.

And I don’t know where are you looking at or reading. Get your brain straight. I’ve never said he should get 680. I’ve already mention decent $1000-$1500 range can run GW2 easily at max.

I am wondering if I use the PayPal option would be safer vs Credit Card on file. Because it requires you to login into Paypal in order to make transaction. This prevent if my account has been hacked and abuse the saved on file CC.

But PayPal currency conversion costs more than bank CC conversion. Paypal always wants to earn the extra in between.

Get an SSD… no I don’t have loading problems on any games. It takes 5-10sec per load.
