Princess Wand is definitely the new Twilight/Sunrise. It’s awesome
Mystery tonics did not work for me.
Will have to run back through and check this out.
Is that something like when Peter won the golden ticket and tripped while running home?
Mission Accomplished!
I wonder what happens if I jump off this airshipinArah. Splat
Golem rush is an effective way to take a keep, I won’t lie, but I think we have missed potential here in the deer rush.
Swimming swimming swimming, all summer long, swimming swimming swimming it makes your flippers strong…
This won’t end well…
Right before Trahearne gets himself killed.
So, anyone have locations on the rich candy cane nodes yet?
I know this will be one of the first things I will be tackling after the Wintersday patch is out. I also think that balance is required and it involves bringing a stack of presents to the other side, should be fun.
I also like the trolls/spies on your own server who place siege on the chest so it is harder to click to open it. Now that is an interesting use of siege in the EB jp.
Wait, if the mobs in Arah have bigger nuts, wouldn’t they be easier to hit?
Clearly that is just Linnea in disguise going after the….Jackalope!
As Rurik said many ages ago, there are 2 things you can expect in Tyria:
Death and Taxes.
I agree, have you used rocks in AC SM? So overpowered
Attended/Looted/No Mail
Did you at least jump in? Everybody’s doing it!
I liked the end finishing move from the Lost Shores event a lot.
And so enters our HERO *flap flap flap
Are you sure that isn’t the fire elemental?
I use a lower resolution on my laptop (as compared to my desktop), and as Krojack stated, you don’t get to see as many character slots with a lower resolution (5 compared to 7). It’s likely a set cap to keep things neat and orderly, or whatever, for various resolutions/systems.
Guildie used a rez orb during beta and was able to walk around before getting stuck in something, didn’t really see too much as I recall.
Me, personally, I was just doing it to slide down the cube because it was fun and to see how high I could get my fall damage.
It probably depends on the mats. I found a while back that I had a better return selling of my tier 5 dust and buying tier 6 dust than I did upgrading it in the forge; I netted around twice as much dust that way. Compare the prices on the tp and see what the selling point for the tier 5 is and the buying point for tier 6 and use that to decide whether it is better to convert or not.
I’d heard of this one and was ready for a less than fun experience, especially considering one of the members of the pug wasn’t listening, particularly on the ice elemental. Nonetheless, we tried it a few times, figured out how the mechanic worked and learned the paths, and then set up an easy plan. I put a portal in the central area, had the people with orbs run to me, and I ran to the place where you place the wisps and opened up the end of the portal, and it went off without a hitch. If you have a mesmer with portal in your group, this goes much easier.
I got a rare killing the champion guarding the chest at the end of the stones puzzle, and a chunk of crab meat from the one near the lair where the final battle will obviously be. Obviously I trashed the rare and kept the delicious crab meat to put all that butter on!
A mesmer can drop from the platform that the chest is on to the rocks below and survive with the half fall trait, my mesmer did it with 1000 hp or so left, and successfully port people up for the chest and to fight the champ. Find a decent mesmer, problem solved.
Clearly, this guy needs to be put into a video with the swimming quaggan and Ogden’s hammer, someone make that happen
Conversely, look up the item in the GW2Guru Database and they have the item codes posted there.
My biggest issue with underwater combat is the invulnerability issue as stated by others. I can be fighting an enemy as normal, and they suddenly decided because I’m not on the same plane to go invincible, start healing, and meander away back to where they came from, beginning the process of killing them anew. This is the primary issue I have with underwater combat, and why avoid it, despite the awesomeness of whirlpool (even after the nerf).
I actually got a rare off the dredge champion event in gendarran fields, I thought it was a bug.
Champions usually drop crap, so the prolonged fight isn’t worth the reward, and I tend to avoid them. If other players are engaging one though, I will assist. When we have a guild group going though, we tend to seek them out, for the fun of it.
Had some fun on JQ borderlands this morning, finally able to push SBI out of hills and come back to find they have taken it again, always keeping us busy. Then BG showed up and started raiding our camps, I got skewered once or twice while attacking the ballista you had set up in defense. Been fun so far, but will be interesting to see what happens when the Lost Shores hits.

Also danced for quite some time in the room as a reward to myself.
I support this idea completely.
Right, the other potions are for furniture and plant transformations, only the animal mystery tonics work.
They have to be the ones that smell of singed fur and feathers, the round ones. The ones that smell of the forest and of furniture polish don’t work, apparently.
I assume the mystery tonic for animals would work, while the ones for furniture and plants would not, but I didn’t bother testing that myself.
Opened approximately 30-40 chests, got the Gift of Souls Recipe, Severed Dagger Skin, and the Avian crap shoulders. Seems my results are better than most.
To Morgoth, there are different mystery tonics that you can craft, are you using the round ones that come in the chests, the ones that smell of singed fur and feather, or others? Just trying to get further clarification, thanks.
This wouldn’t be so bad if people used their power for good, like resetting broken skill points or say, moving the guild bank npc next to the bank npc for easier transfers. But as it is, this does need to be looked at due to the possibility of griefing and tomfoolery in wvwvw.
I for one feel that this is not fun and it is just isn’t very fun to fight in wvwvw this week. Thank you to all of those on SBI who are not backing down though, I know I’ve cursed at you guys a few times the past few days while playing on our borderlands. Keep up the good fight, hopefully Henge will drop next week and we can get a more balanced match.
As an added bonus, it appears our npcs keep getting moved around in LA, probably due to the influx of wonderful people we have received recently.
Commander Shepard. Then again, all he was doing was roaming around the Black Citadel saying “I’m Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite store on the citadel.”.
I had really hoped enough of HoD remained that this weeks match up would be a wonderful 3-way fight, but the reports from the server are not promising. With the bandwagon transfers, our server has too many bodies available, and mismatched fights aren’t fun for anyone, or at least not to me.
If it’s any consolation, our queues have become a very hard adversary to overcome.
All hail Abutterdon!
Good thing butter is down to 2 copper on the TP, I can buy enough to make a glorious effigy to my butter God.
As a JQ player, I utterly respect the CD and DB people in wvwvw despite the overwhelming lead we had. Unlike many players on our server (among others), you guys were still there fighting the good fight despite the situation, and not making a huge deal out of it (from what I saw).
I remember a particular round of matches of CD earlier in the week at Durios where we kept going back and forth, that was a ton of fun. What started out as a small force breaking against the walls soon became a larger, more organized force peppering our walls with siege. When you guys broke the wall and started pushing, I thought you had it. I think if you had kept pushing and crammed us in there you could have taken it, but that was the fun of those battles: they could have gone either way. I know I spent a few silver on armor repairs that day since you guys loved yanking me off the wall.
I utterly enjoyed that fight with CD and other battles throughout the week, and look forward to seeing you guys again sometime. Good luck in your future fights.
