My opinion on Warrior:
Pve: His Dps is “ok” but not great. The ONLY reason he gets used is for Might/Banner/Ea.
And the Might part is not that important anymore.
I stoped playing warrior (main class) in pve because it was realy hard to get a dungeon group. I switched to ele here.
WvW: Warrior was in a bad spot even month before the spez patch.
His CC doenst compare to Gurad and ele who have capless cc.
His dmg is only “ok” here.
Warrior has bad stab skills.

The ONLY reasons warrior was ever usefull in wvw were:
1) Warhorn = was nerf to the ground
2) War Banner = every good wvw group can counter this skill EASY!
poisen on downstate
or you have 3-4 good ele player that place lava font under the downstate
this kills the downstate faster than the cast time of warbanner (on a 4 sec cd)
OR you have 1-2 smart player that interupt the very obvious skill.
and much more
The Shout heal is also not good anymore.
Im in an WvW Guild and from 12 Warrior Player (WvW) 10 switched classes because the feel more useful with other classes.
And other Guilds start too.
The fact that the only usefull thing on berserker is the new Killshot doesnt help much….
For me Warrior is in a very bad spot for many month now and its gets worse since

Well with the Candy Corn Converter when it was released people had Months at the Buffs (all of them)
and yes months. 5-6Months of WvW Buff for an example
The question is where would you use this.
In WvW = not really there are nearly no condi dmg player
In pve = there is no condi dmg enemy
In Roaiming = only here and only against condi player this would make condi useless again.

I got kicked out of a dungeon because i switched to earth on my ele for the blast.
This was not infight…
Kickreason: Ele should never go in earth because its a dps lose.
For being not 100% Zerk.
I joined a fractal lvl 40 group => gearcheck
I was all zerk gear only my rings are Pvt because thats my 10+ Ar rings => Kick
For looking like a Ranger.
I was joining a dungeon group as a warrior.
I was wearing the Jungle Explorer Outfit , a Quiver , a Longbow and a Mini Snow Owl.
(Was in Sw before and wanted to change build/gear in the dungeon)
Before the loading screen was over i was kicked.
I ask why = no ranger.
Show me your best kick reasons!

Most People use Signet.
D Stance has some problems:
It can be interupted and you have to take dmg for the heal.
Signet heals always.
Just wondering, with 2600 condi dmg, you would need like 12-13 stacks of burning for a 12k damage tick. How did you achieve that?
My rotation was:
(we assume we have full adri)
Fan of Fire → F1 → weaponswap → Torch 4+5 →Sigil or Heal for Max Adri→ Berserker Mode → Spam Sword F1 and Torch 4 if ready until Berserker Mode is over → waepon swap →F1 bow → Fan of Fire
I dont had much time to test a better rotation but you have to wait a few seconds before you can repeat it (only because of bers mode cd)

Today i got to test my PvE Burn Warrior in the PvE Raid.
And i was surprised!
I got over up to 12k Burn Dmg per second and 3-4k Bleeding.
And this with half cele half rabid gear and not much vun on the enemy.
I think i had around 2600 condition dmg infight.
This is 750 to1000 less with real gear.
BUT there is a problem….
It only works in melee range.
If you have to go range you lose alot of dps.
Mostly because you need Arms/Discipline/Berserker
And the Longbow Traits that gives the very usefull burn on AA is in Tactics……
Could we change this? This would solve this range problem a bit.
I love this new Warrior Burn Build!

This build has 3649 Condtion Dmg. ( banner + traits + might + stacks)
With this Berserker Sword F1 makes 22307 (27883 with vuln) Burn Dmg over 4 seconds with 2 1/2 second cooldown.Normal Bow F1 makes 27883 (34854 with vuln) Burn dmg.
This with the torch skills and trait (king of fire) gets some nice dmg numbers….

Its a Pve Burn Warrior build. ( you maybe want a Pvp build but you asked about any build)
Maybe its not perfect but hey its working.
You use Bow F1 swap ->Torch 3+4 ->Berserker -> Spam Sword F1
Heal for Adrenaline
FGJ for might/fury
Banner
Singet for Adrenaline
Elite for Might/fury
Full Sinsiter gear with Cindition rune..
Traits for Condition and F1 Spam ( The build clac has not the new changes)

This is why:
Berserker Hammer F1 was made for WvW.
Knockback in WvW is complete useless.
In 3 Years of WvW i was more safed by knockbacks then killed by it.
(knockback out of aoe)
Knockback is a free movement/dodge for the enemy.
You want the enemy to stay where they are and N O T !!!! move them around!!!
You cant make it a stun becasue it hits 15 targets. = op
Immo WOULD be better but 1 seconds is to low.
Most Melees are immun to Imo and the only caster that cares about imo is nekro.
(ele has way enough condi clean)
The dmg is a joke. Less than a AA…..
It would be better to make it a Daze on 15 Targets.

2 its just weakness on 3 targets on a to long cd.
3 its just cripple… sure its range but yeah just cripple on a lond cd.
4 a knockback
5 a hard to land single target 2 second knockdown on an way to high cd
also you would thing that a hammer would do massiv dmg… nope

That’s cool, but bolas gotta immobilize or knockdown. That’s what they do, so it would just need to be renamed I guess.
Bolas still immobilize….
Peak Performance just adds effects to it.
Like i said Bolas immobilize for 4 seconds on a 16 seconds cooldown.
Increasing the duration would be to strong. Maybe add 1 second.
But 6-7 Immo would be way to strong.
Not bad, although they will never change the traits again. One thing, Bolas absolutely should immobilize.

About Bolas: Sure it Imo´s but you should not get longer duration becasue 4 seconds is already long.
My idea was more like:
1 Bar of Adrenaline => Your Bolas fly faster.
2 Bars od Adrenaline => Unblockable + Fly faster
3 Bars of Adrenaline => Unblockable + Fly faster + maybe Homing (?)

- Note before you read: Im not that good in english ;I so pls dont be to hard to me.
When the specializations patch went live i was looking at the warrior traits and well….
It seems to me that many traits where randomly placed.
- Hammer and Banner in discipline.
- Axe and Condition traits in Strength
- and more….
So i tryed so rearrange the traits.
Now that we have the Berserker , i took a second look on my notes and did a bit more rearranging.
I set my self some rules:
- No Grandmaster Weapon traits.
- Each Line is focused on (mostly) 2 weapons.
- If two traits on the same place are very specific (Up and Middle) the third trait (down) should be useful in many situations.
- Each row of traits ( Example Up Up Up) should have some synergy.
- No complete useless traits ( I looking at you Thick Skin)
- Many traits are updated to work with immobilize and stun.
- Fast hands is now baseline!
I think im happy with my results. ( For the most part)
- All numbers are NOT final and just placeholder.
- Thinks posted under each Trait line are allways just some off the changes.

- Restorative Strength: Chill can do damage . So Might could work like regeneration.
- Peak Performance : All Physical skills are cc skills. Why the damage buff? They now get more effectiv.
Example:
[Kick] knockback increases and at full adrenaline it can kick downstates away.
[Bolas] should not get longer Immobilez. I think things like flying speed and unblockable are better. - The Grandmaster traits are just ideas. I mean they have to compete with Berserker Power.
Maybe you guys have a better ideas.

Yep thats Ridley i noticed it the first second in the stream
Well… 10 seconds after the reveal of the torch there was no more torch pre in store.
5min later they reappeard for twice the gold cost.
before = 240-250 gold
after = 540 gold
The question is : where is this even usefull?
Pve? Not really.
WvW? Maybe roaming but who has the time and the wasted skill slot.
Pvp? Well no…..
Maybe a littlebit off topic but i love when people say LB has no power dmg.
My highest dmg on LB3 is 12k on a boss mob(hotw p1 last boss) with 7 vun , 12might , not full powergear
no stacks and no buff food usw…..
The only problem i have with warrior atm is that many traits are in wrong places.
The the warrior traits are a complete mess!
Axe in Strength
Banner and Hammer in Discipline
A cc trait in Arms Unsuspecting Foe
Condi traits in strength Distracting Strikes / Body Blow
Some triats make no sense Peak Performance …
You often have to choose between 3 useless traits
No trait synergie in some lines.
To many “useless” Traits:
Restorative Strength
Great Fortitude
Thick Skin
Rousing Resilience
Powerful Synergy
and more
Warrior needs a complete overhaul. ;(

Physical skills are cc´s! NOT dmg skills!
Just make it like this:
Physical skills are more effektiv based on how much adrenaline you have. Physical skills recharge faster.
Kick: Knockback range increase for every bar.
(Maybe make it a launch skill with full bars that you can kick downstate´s)
Stomp: Knockback range increase for every bar.
Throw Bolas:
First bar: Projectile speed increased
Second bar: It becomes unblockable
Third bar: Increase the Imo duration by 1-2 seconds.
Bull’s Charge:
First bar: Movementspeed increase
Second bar: It becomes unblockable
Third bar: no idea here an 3 sec knockdown would be to good

My personal Record is 8441 dmg on Subject Alpha.
Yo mama is so fat , every step counts as a blast finisher.
Yo mama is so ugly , she has her own rune.
Yo mama rune:
(1): +25 Toughness
(2): 100% chance when struck to inflict 25 stacks of torment for 15 seconds. (Cooldown: 10 seconds)
(3): +50 Toughness
(4): 100% chance to cause Fear for 15s when hit. (Cooldown: 10s)
(5): +100 Toughness
(6): Deal dmg on enemys looking at you und blinding them for 15 seconds. (Cooldown: 1 second)
flurry + well bombs ( i wonder if you know what this means, no offense im here to help)

If you do not belong to organized groups, u SHOULD NOT be using this build or the meta of now for wvw zergs for warriors.
If you do not belong to organized groups then you should be running something like zerkers gears along with gs + rifle or gs + axe/shield or even gs + hammer and be part of the sidelines and dont even think of being in front lines. Basically use whatever you want but dont be in frontlines to be a rally bot.
If i pug along with a zerg, i will run gs/rifle or gs hammer or gs axe shield or even gs longbow
I will probably use 6/0/6/0/6 with
x,gs mastery, berserker power
rousing resilience, defy pain and dogged march
warrior sprint(+ immobilize removal for ratwells), brawler recovery and heighten focus
balance stance + endure pain and dolyak signet

Just one word : Poisen.
Good Guild use Poison on downstate what means you need TWO banner do up them.
And also good guild kill the downstate in the 2 second cast time.
AND some guilds even interupt Warriors that use Banners.
I dont use banner traits for my battle standard, t’was only in pve

Melee Carry. Look up Faceless Void from DOTA2. Except a more reasonable one. And shoutbow is still going to be pretty annoying.
While the changes are boring and uninnovative, Warrior can still have a place as a DPS and a support.
Wish baseline fast hands would happen though when the elite specs come out. Every class will get crazy power creep at that point anyways, specially the reset on Mesmer and more evade frame-eater on Guardian? Baseline fast hands should happen at that point.
That´s right he has a place. BUT in reality …. Warrior gets more and more outclassed.
My Guild was allready reducing the number of warrior in the Guild Zerg and after the Patch even more to 2-3 at 25-30 Player.

I play WvW DD ele for a long time now. In Melee Partys. Aura Share.
It´s very powerfull and now with the new patch and things like perma frost aura and fury for the group.
Now that Warrior is dead in WvW we have space for DD Aura Share ele.
Soo…….
The “Buff” Patch is here.
We get a small pve buff. (around 25% more dmg and perma regen on phalanx)
Double Axe is still useless ( Less dmg and critchance)
Condi Warrior seems ok.
But why do we nerf WvW Warrior again?
Why the Warhorn a nerf?
The Warhorn and the Battle Standard is the only reason Warriors are usefull in WvW.
Now other classes have more CC / Blasts / Heal / Dmg / Condi Removal.
Revenant has triple Blast.
Ingi gets 4 Blast in one skill.
Ele get perma Ice Aura+ Fury for the Party.

I have seen many nerfs. Now, before the patch, the warrior is on the last edge of usefullnes in WvW.
And this “Balance Patch” is the K.O hit.

If you have only one Warrior in a party and this Warrior is not PS/EA……..
PS/EA is the BEST Dps Booster ingame.
The Group Dps Boost for Running PS/EA is MUCH higher than the Dps from 66002.
If you have 2 or more Warrior in your Party , then one plays PS/EA and all other 66002.
As a Main Warrior im ok with this. And i also believe that more than one Warrior per party is waste of Dps/Utility.
TACTICS.
Minor Traits:
Determined Revival = WHY not fused with Fast Healer and Reviver’s Might???
Reviver’s Might = WHY not fused with Fast Healer and Determined Revival?
Inspiring Presense = Make the Boon Duration 20% -25%
PLS!!!! dont give us 2 weak Minors again! Make it one Minor with all 3 effects!
Adept:
Leg Specialist = Not a good trait but also not bad.
Quick Breathing = Hurray for Adept!
Empowered = The Pve dps trait.
Master:
Shrug it off = Nothing to complain about.
Burning Arrows = My wish for a Range Weapon with Condi on Autohit come true!
Empower Allies = The Pve dps trait.
Grandmaster:
Powerfull Synergy = Why leap? Tactic is about support! Make it Blast Finisher.
Vigorous Shouts = Much much much love from all WvW Warriors!
Phalanx strengh = Do i even have to say something here?
Tactics opinion:
Change Powerfull Synergy to Blast + make all revive Minors to one and im happy.
DISCIPLINE.
Minor Traits:
Versatile Rage = nothing to say here
Fast Hands = make it a default.
Versatile Power = nothing to say here
Adept:
Crack Shot = Nothing Special here.
Warrior Sprint = Its ok for WvW.
Vegeful Retunt = Noob Support!
For Pve no good Trait here ;/ (If you dont use Rifle)
Master:
Inspiring Battle Standard = Was allways good in some situations and now Master <3
Destruction of the Empowered = Same as before. Strong Trait!
Brawler’s Recovery = Mhhhh its ok….
Again no real Pve Trait here. Maybe DotE but what enemys have boons?
Grandmaster:
Merciless Hammer = To bad we can use it with Burst Mastery.
Burst Mastery = Good and usefull. Maybe make it 10% more dmg?
Heightened Focus = I will miss my 15% free Crit Chance…. but the new triat is ok too.
Discipline opinion:
For a must have trait line (thx to fast hands) it offers some good traits for pvp and wvw. But i miss some good pve traits.
SKILLS.
Physical skills: They have no use in wvw and pve. Lets see if this will change.
Healing Surge : More Shouts = More Fun in WvW
Healing Signet “Nerf” : Im ok with this.
My Final Opinions:
Warrior got a buff in WvW. He really needed it!
I love it that Condi warrior could become a thing now. (PvE)
The Meta Greatsword Builds are strong as ever.
Axe (Dual Axe) got a nerf. I dont understand why.
We got some parts where we can choose only between 3 trash traits.
All around a good thing for Warriors. But do i feel stonger / better now?
In WvW a littlebit. In Pve not really.

STRENGHT.
Minor Traits:
Building Momentum = 15 is a bit low make it 20.
Stick and Move = I like the extra 7% more
Adept:
BIG problem here! We have for most builds 3 Trash Traits (For Pve).
Death from Above = Only for fun or some rare situations
Restorative Strength = Never really usefull
Physical Training = Only im PvP usefull
I really dont like the idea to say : Who cares what you pick! All of them are useless.
Master:
Body Blow =Nice Trait!
Forceful Greatsword =Love it!
Great Fortitude =The “I dont use Greatsword/Hammer” Trait
Grandmaster:
Berserker Power = Love it! Finaly i can use my Gs F1 without being called a noob.
Distracting Strikes = A good trait. But is it Grandmaster worthy? Well not really.
Axe Mastery = A shame this is a Grandmaster!
Strengh Opinion:
For Greatsword user = Still very good Traits here.
For Axe user = You get a useless Trait +Great Fortitude (What is a defensive trait) + Axe Mastery. You cant get Berserker Power what is simply a nerf for Eviscerate.
Why do we need to nerf Axe again? Especially because Dual Axe was not good in the first place.
ARMS.
Minor Traits:
Precise Strikes = A bit weak. I hoped it would fuse with Rending Strikes.
Unsuspecting Foe = In itself a good trait.
Attack of Opportunity = Easy 10% extra dmg + Condi Build Buff. Awesome.
Adept:
Berserker Fury = Free adrenaline+ Fury. What do we want more?
Signet Mastery = Spam Signet of Rage Get 100 Precision.
Deep Strikes = Free Condi Dmg!
Master:
Rending Strikes = The Brain dead Trait for every build! Now with extra speed!
Opportunist = Sword Main Hand. Now with 24/7 Fury!
Blademaster = Lets go Dual Sword Warrior!
Grandmaster:
Burst Precision = Full Tank Warrior and his 15K Eviscerate is back.
Furios = Go Go Condi Warrior!
Dual Wielding = Time to Duel!
Arms opinion:
Allround nice traits! Maybe my dream of a PvE condi Warrior will come true!
DEFENSE.
Minor Traits:
Thick Skin =90% and 100 Toughness is a bit weak. Make it 75% and 200.
Adrenal Health = Good as always.
Spiked Armor = ´MUCH LOVE!
Adept :
Shield Master = Very good trait. To bad we cant use it with Dogged March
Dogged March = Must have in WvW. Still good.
Armored Attack = The “Dps” Trait here……
Master :
Last Stance = Powerfull trait but the 90 sec cd is to high. Make it 60 sec.
Cull the weak = 24/7 Weakness on enemys below 25% life (?)
Cleansing Ire = Still good
Grandmaster:
Sundering Mace = Will Mace finaly be usefull?
Endure Pain = This + last stance …. i see the hate of my enemys xD
Rousing Resilience = Its ok but nowhere near really good.
Defense opinion:
Evevything ok here.
