A Norn Warrior in Galdiator Armor named Nabba and

Around 21:10 for 2 Mins all Guilds got reseted , all player got no more Icons and you could not see any player around you.
Not only me but all player on ebg at this time.
After 2 Mins it was ok again but for around 10-15 min longer you could no start any Guild Mission or even see them. + No Favor and stuff.
It all started by a Huge Lag for everybody.
So did the server take any dmg xD ?

At this moment we (only) have around 150 to 170 (real) Guild WvW Player on the server.
And its a pain in the a… to get new player to play WvW or even join guilds.

Just tone down the damage of CoR make it so each impact zone can only be triggered once per cast, per target. Then increase the cooldown of the skill from 4 second CD to a 6 second CD.
There problem solved for WvW.
Also if you get spiked out by two or more congrats, welcome to WvW it’s no different than the old RatWells nonsense.
Scorched Earth is an even easier fix, make it one contiguous field, increase base damage and burning slightly.

How do you know that they are in full zerk? How do you know that they’re running the meta completion you claim? Could it possibly be because they’re better rather than running some “god mode”?
Also, damage reduction modifiers don’t stack. They are multiplicative.
So how is it possible than that a full zerk Nec does only hits around 50 dmg hit.
Btw you see the food, prot , frost aura, rite on the buff bar……
Not all people run Scrapper rune but hey free 7% more.When every single hit they do does more than 7k (all hits) than they are most likely full zerk or close to it.
Or they have might stacks and they debuffed you. What is your exact build on your necro and what were you using?

This is mostly a WvW Topic but i think this is something we should talk about.
In WvW many Guilds start to run the so called “God Mode Meta”.
This is a Team Build where all Party Member have permanent – 60% dmg Reduktion(without counting armor) and a -110% dmg reduktion for 5 seconds every 50 seconds.
Add the dmg reduktion from your armor to the -60% + some heal spam and your party is nearly immortal.
The problem here is that it is way to easy to do this.
All you need is a facerolling Tempest and a Herold.
The tempest gives perma Protection and Frostaura. (Perma -43% dmg)
The Herold for rite of the great dwarf (-50% dmg)
+ The new Food from Hot (-10% dmg)
+ Scrapper rune (-7% dmg)
Before, if you wanted to tank a bit more you had to use Defensive gear.
The drawback was you would to not as much dmg.
Now you can go full Zerk gear without any drawbacks.
Its so much fun to fight an enemy that takes like 47 dmg from your Nec Wells but hits you for 9k with autohits.
I think it would be a good idea to make a cap for dmg reduktion.
I REALLY hope the nerf this tomorrow…

We just tested it in our Guild arena.
A Tempest with all the buffs ( yellow gear) got only 10% from a full zerk ele.

Its does a bit to hard dmg for a capless aoe (The first hit has a 5 man cap the swords have noe aoe cap)
I hoped for Auras to get 3 seconds… but 4 seconds is a start.
The perma 43% dmg reduction on the group is a bit annoying.

Food ( 100 Power) Wrench (+100 to 150ish power) + Bolt to the Heart + Aquamancer’s Training
+ Might stacks (definitely at least 6 stacks if they’re in party with a Herald) + sigil of Force2600 Power/2000 armor = 1.3x damage already
10 Might = 2800+ Power —> 1.4x damage
Ice Spike isn’t OP : it has a delay, it is not instant , it requires a trait just to be 2 + 3/4 recharge. The tooltip when it is at 2800 Power is a mere 2K.

I got not hit by something other than the 2 skills before downstate.There was no point where i could get a Vuln stack.
The fight was over in under 1 second.I understand that Icespike is strong but 12k without Piercing Shards and 0 Vuln on me?

The question for me would be for what reason i would buy a mount.
“Oh it looks cool” = Who cares. People run around in Outfits and 6000g Legendary and nobody gives a kitten .
“It makes you travel faster” = Yeah… the few meters i have to walk between waypoints is way to much time waste.
“It saves Anet” = How about some Game balance or something idk….
“It gives Anet Money” = Mhhh the time it needs to programm mounts for 5 races , 2 genders, 9 classes and many skills, armor clipping and many more things…..
I dont think the Time investment would pay off here.
If they would ad Monuts to the Game (as long you dont 100% need them to be competitive) i would not buy one.

I started farming in the Silverwaste again and everytime the Vinewrath event ends i cant open the Big Chest…
I had no dc´s and was mostly from 20% to end aktiv on the map.
Maybe some bug with Auto loot?
Time for some stupid math!
Lets asume we take a rev and a ele with 4000 power.
They have no traits ( only the ele has pyro training).
We asume all possible hits to hit something.
We look now at the tool tip dmg.
CoR:
2052 low hit x5
2873 mid hit x5
3694 high hit x5
this is 43095 tool tip dmg.
Lets look at Ele Meteor Shower:
2347 tool tip dmg x 24 meteors each hits 3 targets.
this is : 168984 dmg
Meteor Shower ist better right?
But is has a 20 sek cd!
Lets look on the dmg per cooldown second.
CoR = 43095 / 2 = 21547 dmg
MS =168984/20 = 8449 dmg
Icebow=51048 dmg/20 = 2552 dmg
I think something is wrong here….

At this moment at my server people started to change nekro for revenant because of the outdmg.
Also you need the Herald to be “effektiv” many player dont wnat to farm heropoints and some more reasons.
Also most people i know thought this would be nerfed anyway so why getting a rev.
3)Punish those that are far away
So? How should a Melee get even close ? We have the problem that the enemy plays pirate ship meta.
Our melees get on 1200 range and cant get a bit closer. Melee Guards get sometimes oneshotted….
It makes the Pirate Ship meta even stronger. Why play melee if you cant get even close to the enemy and you get 12-13-14k aoe´s in the face and this with 3300 def.

I allways wanted to play a Sword/Sword Condi Warrior since launch.
And now is the time to shine!
A Warrior can have under the right conditions (ha!) 4300 Condition Dmg.
But this would be useless because of reasons….
But THIS build comes up to :
- up to 3835 Condi Dmg infight
- 100% Condi Duration Bleed and Burn.
The Question is : What are the dmg numbers?
Without Vuln/With 25 Stacks Vuln
*Sword AA = 4032/5040
*Flaming Flurry =23232/29040
*Shattering Blow=20160/25200
*Flames of War =14520/18150
*Riposte =24192/30240
*Impale =24501/30627
*Precice Strike =1512/1890
And this is just the Condition Dmg.
Its important to say that Offhand Sword need an enemy that hits you in melee range and he need to move around for the Torment to make double dmg.
But people will scream now BOW IS BETTER!!!11!!!

This Build gets up to 3645 Condi Dmg.
*Longbow AA = 2864/3580 (lower than Sword aa but a chance for an Projektil Finisher)
*Fan of Fire = 8592/10740
*Pin Down =34560/43200 (wow)
*Scorched Earth =21480/26850
The Auto Attack deals less Condi Dmg and the F1 also deals less Dmg.
But!
Scorched Earth can hit Enemys with big Hiboxes 2 or even 3 times.
With 2 Hits this would mean up to 53700 dmg!
(it also hits up to 25 targets)
I think Both Flamming Flurry Spam and Scorched Earth Spam has its place and depends on the enemy.

It is as i know it just a normal drop. No Bouncy Chest or something.
I’ve been doing this with ppl from the lfg (except the DS one there I use map chat) & nobody reported a drop so far. I killed one with 30 ppl this morning…. The 1500g thing seems to be really shady too.
This whole “I don’t remember exactly” thing is super funny too. Had I gotten one, we would already have a screenshot of me having one in the bouncy chest window ..
