Maybe some sort of Axe/Mace, main hand set up with a Greatsword on the on the offset.
The second set could potentially give you your mobility and gap closing and the greatsword for additional damage while the first give you your cc and with a heavy Power/Toughness/Vitality combo that will allow you to set up for 100b.
Personally IMO the real amazing ability on GS is whirlwind. Highest dps* /Evasion and covers ground, with 8 sec cd when traited and 10 if not.

We have no oceanic presence. We can’t “heavily defend” anything. The people who owned the omegas were in their own private guild comm.

Allow me to explain -
We got a call out from someone on the map – 2 omegas WALKING to hills north gate unprotected. 5-6 mags showed up with them. They got wiped and abandoned their golems while trying to run away…. and we added the omegas to the scrapyard.
Furthermore you guys are overlooking the sheer might stacking ability that WWA brings. Find a fairly tight knit group with Sigil of Strength and a good crit rate and BOOM 25stacks.
this is just prediction but if there will be no fix in upcoming patch I am sure there will be blood on street, Warrior community will not take this any much longer.
Do you guys feel like we are talking to our selfs? I feel that Warrior is in old shoe box high on shelf so arena net don’t need to deal with this. last time some one from A net said something on our forums was 14…14 pages ago! and it was just a standard procedure to close topic called " Warrior is boring. " I am just predicting that blood will be on street if some one form A net will finally take that shoe box off the shelf, dust it off and actually tell us that everything will be OK? I am alredy over 1000 hours on one character and i don’t even have a precurser. so there is that. been try in for my legendary eterinety since October so about 4 months. and Im not even half way throw. but i also am not grinding for the legendary eathor. just casually playing for it.

This also applies if your opponent has their back against a wall and you whirlwind into that wall. the wall stops your forward movement but you continue to spin in place and connect every hit on them.

This is 100% correct. I choose to fight near terrain for this very reason.
Only down side is blind/block/aegis/dodge really hurt hammer, but with this more tanky set up, I can sustain long enough to try and pull out all their escape mechanisms for the Earthshaker Burst + other attacks finish them off. Its very reliable in terms of dmg, cause you know you will crit with it, and That it will hit very hard.
Yeah, unfortunately a hammer warrior’s tells are really obvious and generally follow a burst pattern for stuns. Everyone seems to run some form of stability as standard but your build would be nothing short of beautiful in a 5-10man group where you aren’t overly focused on with everyone paying attention to said tells.
Condition warrior certainly has a place but the main issue is with the hard cap of 25 bleeds competing with other classes for the same slot. If you had you’re own condition slots in PvE ( let me stress this ) then it would obviously bring more to the group dependant on composition. As others have stated if you ENJOY what you play and the spec drives you become a better player then I see no downside to it at all.
With Consumables 6.7k effective power , and 6.0k without. (when target is stunned, which is caused by earthshaker/shield bash)
When not stunned, effective power is 5k.
34% dmg reduction, and 20k hp.
60% boon duration means, perma signet of rage
That is a fantastic set up. This guy knows what he is doing. I would run a hammer build pretty much identical to this if I already didn’t have Sunrise and Twilight.

edit: Not 100% sold on the fritties though. Truffle Steak has an exta 70 precision that would help you a lot more than the 70 vit. What utilities are you running? ( Mending, Shake it off, FGJ, Balanced Stance , Rage ? )
I think the best way to dissuade their scepticism is to just post a video of your fractal run with your set up. Unedited and raw mistakes and triumphs this will give people an idea of what you experience when you play it, the results you get and to help promote your build.
Outside of CoF, my zerker warrior is still able to perform incredible feats. Not only do I provide the highest DPS in the game, but I bring 3 different versions of a Might buff to my team, provides team wide fury, provides a fire field for blast finishers, removes conditions of allies, and has even tanked bosses.
It’s fine that you don’t like GS zerker warriors, but don’t disregard the fact that zerker warriors are some of the highest and most efficient DPS in the game right now that still provides great group buffs.
Your opinion is probably skewed because you’ve ran into players who can’t manage to stop being tunnel vision, not because they are zerker warriors.
No I played zerker GS to the death.
Simply put, dealing 5% more DPS in a situational stationary fight using the most boring skillset in the game and 13% damage reduction stopped being fun or interesting and I found a more effective setup.
GS full zerker is one setup.
There are other ways to play that are as or more effective, simple as that.

There isn’t one build or setup that is best in every situation, this one has different purposes and goals than GS zerking, while still being a classic fully offensive megaDPS machine of death.
I think your build has a lot of potential. You could probably swap out the Crack shot trait for something more orientated towards damage as standard and swap in Crack Shot for fights that you need to range.
I want to know because I honestly like this build, but I want to make sure that it is, in fact, better than the GS before I choose to store my Eternity and redo all my gear.
I think by answering these questions, you will convince a LOT more people which will really help the warrior community to look past the GS as the only option.
Grinded for Eternity just to put it away cause it may slightly be poorer in PvE? Not entirely sure how to respond to that.
On a side note I use my build for everything. Fractals and W3 alike and I can TELL when a subpar warrior joins the group in full berserker gear because he doesn’t know how to dodge, read fights and the fact that I have to pick him up off the ground so many times that I give up and just leave him there. No one said you had to be 100% glass. I’m sure as hell not.
You can’t just edit consumables to match. Consumables play a pivotal role when it comes to build synergy. I also have soldier stats on my weapons as stated.
I would recommend gilded infusion. Long term gold increase > short term gold gain.
After that, it depends on your wish to gamble.
- lodestone promotion is the sure way to create 27s
- heavy crafting bags are also a good way to create gold
- equipment boxes are a gamble
- green crafting tools are free compared to orichalcum picks.
Hmm. . .three gilded infusions and an omnomberry bar should equal +100% gold from monsters, right? Granted, that’s 90 laurels, 120 if you’re using a second amulet. Still, that’s 50 silver per CoF P1, not counting item drops or the final reward. . .

I’m a little confused because my GS build is greater in all areas except for crit damage and power with perma fury that isn’t shown and this is for w3 not fractals.

Congrats you have more people in your server then the other two servers especially more kiddies that are still in school since today on a holiday it seemed FA had their entire server at a time where its normally empty. When you go back up to Tier 2 eventually and get stomped again because Kain and BG have more people then you then you’ll understand how it feels. Vicious cycle of WvW.
Believe me we know, we were in a similar situation as you are now for months against TC. Which is why i feel the chest thumping by certain FAers is out of place as the main reason we’re winning is population and, to a lesser extent, coverage.
Please improve upon Eternity in its current form or no one is even going to bother to make it any more. To be honest footsteps isn’t really enough it would need something worth putting two legendaries together for.
Well I don’t see the point of having a distinction between EU and US servers. Tiers are highly dependant on global time zone coverage so why bother having a distinction for W3?
You are effectively doubling the pool of what has become a quite stale match up with very little movement in rankings that looks like it will continue for some time. Throwing the US and EU servers into the same match up could only help at this point.
Please explain to me how extra karma/exp/mf is great when I’m up against 20 enemies on my own =/ It would make more sense if the outmanned buff made you a little bit stronger, relatively to the amount of enemies you’re up against. (and no, I don’t mean if it’s 10vs20 that the 10 ppl are 2x as strong, NO)
So you can farm PvE mobs near objectives that are currently under attack.
You get the passive credit for defence if you kill an invader near a keep or tower ( be sure to be in the radius fulfilling the karma aspect) then you can get back to your farming with your Ub3Rl33T PvE bonuses, experience and magic find.
If you face a zerg now, you can guarantee you will be hit by gears. Break up into 5 man groups so we can farm you without resorting to gears that is, if you aren’t content with facing a zerg that does.
Banners should be worn on the back of warriors like sashimono. This would allow banner warriors to fulfil their role infinitely better and add mobility to a very static build that is lacking. The utility bars on the banners really quite meh in my opinion. Freeing the hands would not even remotely make the build overpowered and allow more a lot more variety.

You clearly have the time zone coverage and population, so how did T2 work out for you?
If I had a better condition removal options, traits for less vulnerability to movement impairing effects and proper pathing on abilites I would be a content warrior.
I think they ought to attend to other global warrior issues than a burst damage issue for Axe/Rifle. Maybe I would care if Arcing Slice did anything…..
