Guild Wars 2

I too would really appreciate the original dungeons as well as future ones to be solo-able, pretty much for the exact reasons stated in Punk Rogue’s post.

It’s nice to be able to just go at your own pace and admire the environment of the dungeon you’re in and not be rushed by other players to the end for the chest.

Will they always be a chance drop from the Black Lion Chests? Or maybe an alternate way to obtain them once Flame and Frost has concluded?

Also are The Lost Shore weapon and armor skins/minis still obtainable somehow (other than the trading post)?

The Living Story in Guild Wars 2

Does this mean stuff will happen that will actually REMOVE current content in the game, such as Dynamic Events and Heart Quests, and be replaced by something new as aftermath by whatever upcoming Living Story events will take place?

The reason I ask this is because I am currently playing through Prophecies in Guild Wars 1, as the lore I obtained from some NPCs through out the Major Cities in Guild Wars 2 really made me feel like I missed out by not playing Guild Wars 1 first and thus sparked my interest in starting from the beginning. I am enjoying the original Guild Wars immensely BTW.

I’m just trying to figure out if I should just put my progress in Guild Wars 1 on hold so I can experience all the current content in GW2 before any potential changes happen that will make me miss out on Heart Quests and Dynamic Events in the 2 zones currently being affected by The Living Story, or if current Dynamic Events and Heart Quests will still be around and The Living Story just adding new content and changes on top of the original content, similar to The Lost Shores. I participated in the seasonal events like The Mad King and Wintersday, and the weekend event The Lost Shores, but I haven’t actually delved into a lot of the content in GW2 nor have I really got too far into my character’s personal story line just in case there might be some Guild Wars 1 spoilers.

If there are already multiple topics about this I apologize as I didn’t see anything in the search results that pertained to my particular question.
