Legendary Collector achievement

I’m sorry but you guys are complaining about something kind of obnoxious… You have a legendary, you have 100% map completion, you’ve likely ran at least 1 dungeon a hundred times, and I repeat you have a legendary. (Now if you purchased said legendary then you don’t really deserve the achievement do you? Maybe something for learning how to flip the market or having that much gold)
If you want the achievement points then farm your dailies, don’t try to get the legendary, but you should have known what the achievement itself gave long before you decided that you wanted extra points for it.

For the amount of work put into crafting 5 of them, yes it deserves a title. Yes, everybody knows the AP before making them. Some people are completionists, and that’s how they have fun. It’s not being obnoxious, it’s making a suggestion and forming opinions. The mini title required nothing more than gem store purchases and gold, and for most real money to get, yet it has a title. So why doesn’t this weapon, which can take months to make, deserve a title and a better achievement reward?

Btw, you run a dungeon 8 times for the legendary gift, not 100.

Why would it need a title? You have a flaming dagger, or a unicorn shortbow, maybe some flying rainbows, and you can’t even argue about having a low lvl alt that might need attention because you have 5 legendaries!
Titles aren’t all something to be excited about, yea you can get titles cheap the easiest being “combat healer”, but that doesn’t mean everyone reads them when you have them.
Btw, sorry I quoted you again and then didn’t really reply… I just wanted to clarify on running a dungeon 100 times. If you couldn’t get your precursor I understand that people had to farm massive amounts of gold, and for the longest time that really seemed to be in dungeons.

I don’t know if it works yet, but someone on youtube said that if you eat Mango Pie it will still heal you, so it should help a little bit. I’ll edit when I find out.
It does work, and pretty well too, havn’t beaten him yet but havn’t died again yet either.

Does anyone else think that making the skill points only available to a level 80 is silly. I understand that you pretty much need a level 80 (or high 70’s) to get the final place. However when I first heard you could get 5 free skill points I thought it would be a nice way to get my leveling elementalist a few extra skill points for a new elite skill. However the item that you get from the achievement of finding all 12 locations requires who ever uses it to be level 80.
If you could get it on every character than it would make since, but seeing as you only get it once… Is there any reason you should only be able to use it on a character that likely already has all their important skills, and will only be throwing those 5 skill points in the mystic forge?

Legendary Armor

Do you know how to make a legendary weapon? Depending on which weapon it is you need two crafts, you farm up all the mats you make 1 recipe per craft, and then you throw those crafted items in the mystic forge to get the legendary (plus precursor). While a lot of weapons need weapon smith several need armor smith as well. So weapon smiths don’t really have an advantage other than the choice of weapons they can make/sell. Legendary armor sounds cool, but it shouldn’t be focused on armor smithing/tailoring/leatherworking anymore than the current weapons are focused on artificer/weapon smith/huntsman. (All weapons need at least one of those, so the armor could use at least one of the armor crafting as well, but shouldn’t exclude jewelers and cooks.)

I think Shadow Refuge could use some toning down, since usually the biggest complaint seems to be the fact thieves can stealth and run away when the fight isn’t going in their favor.
Without the refuge we’d be slightly more vulnerable when trying to get away (Smoke field comboing gives away your location and we have no other sources of long duration stealth

First, Toning down doesn’t mean the same thing as getting rid of Shadow Refuge.
Second, why should we be the ones to suffer? Shadow Refuge is the only skill I as a thief have to just poof and not die to a zerg. (I realize that I could also use shadowstep, but it just isn’t nearly as effective) Plus it might be a little on the easy side of the game, but I think we deserve a little bit of easy in our lives too.

I am not sure if you’re saying that the white gear purhcased for coin shouldn’t be salvagable. But thats not really the problem I have, the problem I have is that it looks like an exploit. Gear you purchase for coin should be able to be salvaged and flipped back into a little bit of coin when you’re done.

I was in a hurry to finish today’s daily, so instead of finishing I ran to the weaponsmith in wvw and bought 4 axes to salvage. I got 3 ori ore from 4 axes, I am not sure if this is really a bug or not, but ori ore costs about 3 s 34 copper right now and the axe costs 2 silver and 64 copper. So it seemed really strange. Maybe I got really lucky but the axe is white and I don’t normally get 3/4 salvage rate of ori from blues and green lvl 80’s so…

The nature of the thief class is to be hard to catch, and our signet definately does that, but it isn’t the only thing. We don’t really become any easier to catch, it just makes it harder for us to lose them.
Although look at it this way too, the Thieves have been being targeted for nerfs, but now people are just buffing up their own classes, so maybe they will leave us alone for a while.

Even though the orders are joined in a war effort they are different groups, just because the U.S. and Russia were allies during WW2 didn’t mean we shared all our technology like we were just one big happy family. Because we weren’t and we knew as soon as the war was over we would be back to our own lives. Same with the orders, if you were the OoW would you want people just roaming around your secret cave just because they helped you fight the dragons.

Click on stone, the two window paine appears…
Insert an item into the window on the left and 1 on the right, the order doesn’t matter.
It will appear with the icon of the gear at the top, the stats in the middle and any signets/runes on teh gear at the bottom.
You chose the icon for the cosmetic, the stats for the stats you want, and which ever rune you decide you want to keep.
It works the same way with the basic and the lvl 80 stones

One handed legendary cost

Why do one-handed legendaries cost the same as two-handed legendaries?

I don’t get why not just half the cost?

They also do the same amount of damage, so the only real difference is 2 handers give you 5 skills where 1 handers only give you 3. So why should they cost more, if anything 2handers give you more pixels to look at but less variety than your neighbor.

Its Zhaitan… If you could solo him that would be great, but really stupid. I havn’t made it to 80 yet so Idk what NPCs are actually with you the instance, but it doesn’t matter he is the Elder Dragon. If you could even in theory solo him it would ruin the immersion for so many people.
