Whenever I’ve seen the rifle it is always too big for the character and clips into the ground. I do think it scales down though, just not enough.

I agree with everything Danikat said.

The Adamant Guard are a section of the Iron legion, so the skins belong to the Iron legion to, which makes sense considering the vendors are in the Black Citadel.
What would make sense is if the Blood Citadel (whatever it is called) was introduced, with vendors that sold Blood legion weapons only(and ditto for the Ash legion).

First of all; no promises.

In a few years (Once I’ve finished Sixth Form, and got a job), I plan to save money to get the Adobe CS6 production kit (whatever it’s called) to make a GW2 fan series about a warband called the SIOS.

The series will concentrate on specific members of the SIOS and the series will contain references to other games, movies, etc…

I’ve already got a basic idea of the plot, and also done some art towards it.

Plot:
"A battle-hardened special response warband of the Adamant Guard find themselves at the centre of a political stunt that will cost them their reputation, respect, and their place among Charr society. Thrown out like trash, the SIOS will have to use their skills to restore the team, and justice, all whilst Tyria's mercenaries are after their heads."

Plot Explanation:
The plot will be split up into three sections; the 'SIOS section' where the series concentrates on the SIOS characters, and is very much like Ghost Recon Future Soldier/DIEHARD/Vietnam themed, the 'GW2 section' which starts after major plot point 1 and is more like the game its self, and the Rise section which is after plot point 2 and is the more objective part of the series, followed by the final plot point.

I have some episodes in mind, but I haven’t really planned out an episode yet.
I still need to do more concept art, start planning characters etc, etc, etc…

Characters planned soo far.
-Chimie Pepsios- The machine gunner of Charrlie Squad -1st main character.
-Reeva Punsios- Sniper of Alpha squad -2nd main character.
-Ryhdhn Siosshot- Rifleman of Charrlie Squad -3rd main character.
-Max Ahtom- Human allie of coalition -1st supporting role.

As you can see I haven’t got very far in terms of characters. I don’t have any voice actors planned either, apart from Chi and Max; who I will play.

The series will concentrate on the SIOS and will be very much action based series, but will be a story that explores characters to, and as earlier mentioned it will be more like the game at at point. It may break lore in a few places to.

Now that I have given you all those details; would you watch it if I made it?

I guess I’d better say something related to the topic: I don’t mind what happens with scarlet either way, as long as she isn’t apart of the living story forever, (because that would be boring) which she isn’t, so thats okay.

1.Make the game more point-and-shoot friendly. Being that I play as a warrior marksman I’ve never really enjoyed having the game aim for me, although manual aiming is possible, there isn’t really proper facilitation for it. Having the option to have the character always aim where the player is looking would be nice, a crosshair and first person option would also help. I know, “It’s a MMORPG” yeah, but I don’t care so long as I’m using a ranged weapon. It just feels cheaty.

2.The earlier mentioned Land, Sea, and Air Pvp game type; with the ability to choose and customise your own unit.

3.More permanent areas to explore would be nice. I like exploring, but personally don’t like exploring the same place twice. Some more wide open maps like Diessa Plateau, or tall ones like The Bazaar of The Four Winds.

4. More race oriented Game types: Examples for Charr

5.Add more customisation related stuff: Emotes, Biography Based Titles ,Ressing Animations, Houses Stuff like that.

I took two screenshots of her face and put them up on my 2nd monitor. This was done a couple of months after launch, so those makeover kits didn’t exist then—had to do it in the character creator. I could change it to be an exact match, but I kind of like there being a little variation. The biggest difference is her size: mine is max size and bulk while Almorra is a rather small Charr by comparison.

I did mine the same way, but I don’t have a second monitor so I had to switch between the browser and game at regular intervals.

I really like the females; they’re cute, but I just plain do not like the males.

Give him a Glyphic Rifle and the look will be complete.

Animation Set Kit: Allows the player to change specific animations such as how the character holds a weapon when walking/idle/jogging, what their idle animation is, how they run etc…

The ILWSW-1 Light Machine Gun Skin: Concept art. Because it’s a skin, it still behaves like a rifle, but appears to be firing in bursts.

Race Children Minipets: Suggested already, but I really think it’s a good idea. I’d like a Charr cub. =3

Emotes: Come on; emotes. I love emotes. /eat (Charr animation should look something like this: Lion Eating) , /unimpressed (a face palm), player interation emotes that behave like How to Dance vol.1 , the talking animation that NPCs have, but we don’t etc…

Town Clothes: You get the idea I imagine, also, I want a rice hat for my Charr.

Camp site kit: Makes a little camp site around the player for 60 minutes. Makes a fire pit (No, not a communal boost bonfire), a tent, wooden log seats (Press F to sit on) and pots and pans.
Dunno whether it would just be cosmetic fluff, or be useful. Can also be worn as a back item when not in use: Example.

Decal Kit: Allows the player to design decals to cover their character in. Uses pre-made shapes like the guild emblem designer (although a bigger selection).

Chi with Gadget (Male Charr) and Reeva (Female Charr; recreated NPC).

Chimie Pepsios – Light Machine Gunner in the Iron legion- 5th Division- Adamant Guard Battalion (Had to skip brigade and regiment due to Charr organisation http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Charr) -Special Operations company- SIOS warband (Unconventional name for special warband) -Charrlie Squad.

Reeva Punsios – Same warband, but in Alpha Squad.

I’ve probably broken the lore in a few places. I dunno the lore on Battalion names, Company names, or if Battalion is even the right hierarchy.

Mine isn’t very mix and match, but Chi wears T2 armour with T3 shoulders (Uniform worn by some Iron legion soldiers including Adamant guard) ,and guild backpack. Sometimes a gas mask too.

Chi’s patrol uniform is a bit more mix and match though; it uses a pitfighters chest piece as the straps for the engineer’s tool pack.

Reeva’s armour mixture isn’t even my own ‘design’; it’s exactly what the Reeva NPC wears.

Ever read me say “Chi was issued with the ILWSW-1” and have no idea what the fluffy kittens I’m on about? or seen me mention the SIOS?

I have done some Charrtwork (SUCH AN ORIGINAL JOKE) of the SIOS warband (platoon).

-Soo far it’s just line art, but I plan to build on said pictures.

I reckon:

Chest piece: Orange Spring Dye, Abyss (or similar), Silver Lead Dye

Everywhere else: Cantaloupe Dye, Abyss (or similar), Silver Lead Dye

(I say “or similar” because Abyss is expensive, and there are many other tones of black that will work just as well)

When I want to replicate a dye I look at previews on the trading post. It allowed me to replicate Reeva from the Charr personal story. I might try find out for you.

There is a way for it to show total completion. Open the hero tab and go to the daily section. There is a drop down menu in the right side. It is defaulted to Tier Completion. If you pull it down, you can switch it to Total Completion. Then do the same for monthly.

I swear that doesn’t work, at least not for achievements I have 0% completion on.(I wanna see how much effort I have to put in before I start trying to get the achievement.)

(Not sure if I should post this in “Player helping players” or here, because this concerns Charr.)

I know when it comes to decisions like this I shouldn’t let other people make my mind up for me, but I don’t know whether to keep Chi as he is (The brown lion looking one) or buy a makeover kit (when I get the money) and change him to the tiger Charr.

Why is it though I feel I have to keep spurring people on to post their Charr’s lore? Come on guys and girls; it doesn’t matter how silly it is; post it! It’s interesting to read what people come up with. I know more than five people on the forums have made lore for their Charr.

I dislike the fact that people say that. It’s a bad suggestion in an argument; people who say that must not understand that no game is completely unique, and infact always have similarities, but sharing more similarities doesn’t make them the same game.

Rather than rant on it any longer, because it’s off topic, I have to say I think I’m for this, because I think it would be nice to have, as fluff, as well as being useful (so long as it has limitations). The Warband support that Charr get only lasts 30 seconds, which seems seems somewhat short. They just kinda disappear and then you’re on your own again. =(

Rather than “combat healer” I’d prefer “Combat Medic”; healer just sounds silly to me.

Main point (Slightly off-topic): I’d like to see more PvE titles, and I’d like to see some PvE, WvW and PvP achievements turned into titles; for example, there is an achievement called just “Legionnaire” (200 match wins as warrior), but you don’t get “legionnaire” as a title.

PvE wise I want to see more achievements turning into titles; such as “Rifle master”, which should yield the title “Rifleman”, also I would like to see Biography based titles:

I don’t think it’s so much which face you select, but rather ( apart from one or two which will always look old and scarred) what you do with the face that makes them look younger. Selecting larger pupils and wider eyes, and giving them soft facial details should make the character look younger, as well as making the character smaller, with a larger head to give them the proportions of a youth.

My Charr: Chimie Pepsios (warband name. Pronounced: Chi-My-Ee Pep-SIGH-Us) Chimie Pepin (blood line name. Pronounced: Chi-My-Ee Pep-in) or “chi”

Chimie Pepin was raised on a farm in Diessa plateau by his parents Kara and Sikian, rather than being sent to the farahr because they didn’t agree with standard practice.

Chi was taught how to protect and raise cattle. From a young age was taught how to use a rifle so he could fend off raptors and bandits. When he was 16 Kara took Chi to the Black Citadel to get him used to selling cattle. When they arrived He was amazed by the city’s architecture and scale. At the age of 17 Chi asked his parents if he could join the Iron legion and , reluctantly, they agreed.

Chi went through a eight month training course with the Adamant guard and proved to be very effective with a gun because of his experience protecting the cattle. Once Chi completed his training he joined the 4th Adamant assault warband known as the SIOS (Special Intelligence Operation Service) as a warband support gunner (machine gunner); issued with the ILWSW-1.

His warband quickly gave him the warband name ‘Pepsios’ because he spent his cub hood with his blood parents, whose bloodline name was Pepin. Reeva was the first to make friends with Chimie, and calls him by the nickname ‘Chi’ while the rest of the warband call him ‘Pep’.

The SIOS perform many raids, and respond to high priority situations, such as Flame legion infiltrators and bank robberies.

Here’s how I’d personally like to see it:

Guilds purchase the guild house/hall from the guild UI. The guild starts of with a basic house/hall that has barracks and a conference room/ hall, and they can pick from 6 basic themes ( 5 racial themes, one neutral theme). The guild can purchase upgrades to the house/hall(using gold and guild influence), such as new themes, extra rooms ( option to swap barracks with bedrooms), and fluff (extra content that is useless, but nice to have).

(I’d personally like the house/halls to be utilitarian to, possibly; have the option to add some sort of vendors and messengers who set the guild some sort of objectives.)

I want ma Charr to stop holding the gun like an idiot when he’s walking, running and jogging, hold it level when he’s standing still, and another level of customisation would be nice. It would be another thing for Anet to do though, and I assume they’re usually busy, but im’a say +1

It worked with the songs in the video I linked, and they weren’t made specifically for the games. There is bound to be people who like and dislike any song, just like how there is bound to be someone who plays Guild Wars and hates the music.

The reason I think it fits is because it’s an ,upbeat, feel good, party song, and that ‘mission’ is a celebratory party.
On the first part of your post I’d re-word that to “I think that that song is just actually bad…” It’s just the way you worded that seemed kind of ideological (If that is the correct term to use.). Just to make sure; I’m not being aggressive.

For Charr, since they’re not religious, and they’re very militaristic, I’d suggest combat medic style animations, such as, either:

• Wrapping bandages animation
• CPR animation
• Using claws as scalpel, removing imaginary shrapnel, stitching up wound again animation
  or
• Injecting casualty with needle, refilling needle, injecting again.
