Also I hate my user ID.

He’s the first version. I tried to keep it simple and keep the file size down. (1.2 Mb & ~140Kb versions)
Let me know if you want me to make the file size smaller or work into the picture more.

I’m doing some concept art of my suggestions for rifle animations. I hate walking/running round holding a rifle down by one hip.
Yeah. I can do that. =)
I see everyones jumping aboard the Charr-selfie Bandwagon.
Just so you’re not completely in the dark; Here’s the progress.
Just line art soo far. I didn’t ask for more information, so if anything needs changing please say so.

I broke all my armour back when the game first came out. I was level 20 and I was fighting Ascalonians whilst trying to climb the Breached Wall in Diessa Plateau.
…
I love to use my Wintersday town clothes on my human male, but I really hate how the hat looks on him. I much prefer the coolio aviator sunglasses that he is currently wearing.
I would be very disappointed if he always had to wear that hat. x_xI do like the Mad King’s outfit on my Norn, but I would also like to show his face while wearing it. I would also be very disappointed if he had to wear the pumpkin head all the time. :/
A little added note here, Outfits will still respect the ‘hide helm’ toggle so you can absolutely wear Wintersday or Mad King outfit without the hat or pumpkin.
Due to the large amount of negative feedback concerning lack of customisation on outfits, and especially towards tonics; please reconsider.
If the tonics are replaced by skins there would be a significantly smaller amount of users requesting refunds. (possibly none)
If users like specific items from outfits(of which they have purchased the entirety); they should be able to customise it.
Claw Island. Been there since launch.
Do we really have to get into the difference between an online game and real life again? Tell you what-show me a person named ‘Jesus sucks’ or ‘sexy Jesus’ in real life then I’ll start to explain the difference. There’s no discussion if you can’t even do that.
I don’t think anyone ever suggested names like that on this topic. If a person playing a game chooses to call their character something offensive; that is them abusing their power, and if someone chooses to name their kid the same offensive name it is also abuse of power; it is the same. Point is; online game or not, Jesus, and Mohammed are valid names, and if someone chooses to abuse that power that is that individual’s problem, so they as an individual should be dealt with.
Religious symbols are against the rules, Mohammed is likely just overlooked in the filter list, but that doesn’t mean its an okay name.
Jesus and Mohammed are not strictly religious symbols either, but rather names given to religious figures. If your name was specifically “Jesus of Nazareth” or “Mohammed of Mecca” I can understand those being unacceptable as they are not names, but rather titles for the specific religious figures.
#TenguTarriance
Surely Jesus and Mohammed should be considered acceptable names; since people can legally have those names in real life. There are many Hispanic people called Jesus, and I’ve known a Mohammed.
Queen’s Jubilee (First part), Bazaar of The Four Winds, Super Adventure Box, Windersday, Halloween.
I too prefer the standalone type of living story parts, because it feels more engaging having a ‘realistic’ (Hear me out a sec) structure made out of small things happening rather than having one huge thing:
In your life there probably isn’t just one huge event; but rather many smaller (but still big) events, which make life interesting… unless you have a repetitive job. That ‘realism’ (Very loosely using the term realism) in games gives in-game life variety and keeps it engaging, I feel.
I’m trying to put this in a way that doesn’t sound like jibber jabber, but I still sound like a pillock when I read it over.
Someone will inevitably beat me to it, but I’ll give it a go, also I don’t charge for my art.
I like it, Skirt looks up and see a helopad, SHINNNY!
Thanks, and I’m not sure I understand. =P
I play alone because people suck.
Boom. New quote of the day.
I play alone. Sometimes I get bored, sometimes I don’t.
I do think Socialisation helps alot. Having stupid conversations in LA keeps me playing for hours.
Thanks for the feedback. I wasn’t sure how the boots would look like if they were adapted to charr. The toe cap would be quickly worn off due to friction if the toes were completely covered, and leaving only the nails poking out seemed uncomfortable.
Oh, no I wasn’t talking about the boots. I was talking about the texturing error on the paws where the digital pads are stretched onto to front of the foot:
I think you did a great job; the anatomy is good. I’m a bit confuzzled why you drew the texturing error on the hind paws though.
The picture is nice, but i did hate that movie because it was a really bad movie so… not sure what to comment :\
How much you like or dislike the movie isn’t really relevant in this case. I was looking for feedback on the picture itself. Thanks for giving some. =) Maybe you could elaborate on what is good and bad though?
- Let us hide hobosacks. I made an engineer with eye patch instead of backpack, precisely because I didn’t want a backpack.
You can already to that.
Stuff I want:
-Better home instances
-The Charrzooka to actually resemble a rocket launcher.
-Guild Halls
- More Races
-More Titles
-From " If YOU could change 7 things about GW2":
“1.Make the game more point-and-shoot friendly. Being that I play as a warrior marksman I’ve never really enjoyed having the game aim for me, although manual aiming is possible, there isn’t really proper facilitation for it. Having the option to have the character always aim where the player is looking would be nice, a crosshair and first person option would also help. I know, “It’s a MMORPG” yeah, but I don’t care so long as I’m using a ranged weapon. It just feels cheaty.
2.The earlier mentioned Land, Sea, and Air Pvp game type; with the ability to choose and customise your own unit.
3.More permanent areas to explore would be nice. I like exploring, but personally don’t like exploring the same place twice. Some more wide open maps like Diessa Plateau, or tall ones like The Bazaar of The Four Winds.
4. More race oriented Game types: Examples for Charr
5.Add more customisation related stuff: Emotes, Biography Based Titles ,Ressing Animations, Houses Stuff like that.
6. The ILWSW Machine Gun skin. (With it’s own animations) Click"
I don’t want much do I…
(^That was sarcasm)
Probably just easier to look at my profile to see what I want. =P

I never got the concept of a dedicated marriage system in a combat-oriented game.
Unrelated to the marriage thing; I wish this game was less of a combat-oriented game.
PvE: Warrior
PvP: None
WvW:None
A Lot of those points are what I would like to see in guild halls; utilitarian, themed, segmented structures. I really hope they add guild halls in eventually, and improve home instance customisation.
Just as a random idea to spurt out, maybe it could involve this Isgarren guy: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Wizard's_Tower
In old frail man’s voice “Oooh pay me a bazillion floobyflibbidydoobydoos and I’ll make you a magical island where you can party like craaaazy with yo fellow acquaintances”
Bravo good sir, I shall give you my measly +1.

The sylvari are an exception since in the lore, somewhere, I think it says they were modeled after humans since a human planted the seed.(…)Are you sure about that? First time I’ve heard this, and you have Sylvari from another Tree which likely wasn’t planted by a human and he looks just the same.
From what I understand the Pale tree was where the Sylvari first “sprouted” from, after the seed was found in a cave and planted by Ronan on his family’s graves. Other trees came afterwards and are still fairly young, possibly planted by other sylvari; the Wiki doesn’t say.
Sorry for my off-topic post peeps.
On topic bit:
Kodan, Krait, Centaurs, and Grawl could be good too.
(edited by DietPepsi.4371)
I couldn’t not put my re-creation of Reeva in here.
proper antropomorphic cats
Personally I wouldn’t class those as proper anthropomorphs. They’re more like humans with cat ears and tails, than cats with human qualities. The Charr seem more proper to me personally. (I want to emphasise “personally” so I don’t come off as being rude, or attacking.)
I dislike how in many games, and movies the non-human races often look just like humans with subtle changes, for example races in Star Trek.
The sylvari are an exception since in the lore, somewhere, I think it says they were modeled after humans since a human planted the seed.
I’d like to see more playable races that are like the charr and asura; in that they have very different physical forms whilst still having anthropomorphic qualities such as being bipedal and dexterous, because if they weren’t they would be unplayable. I’d also prefer we keep to already existing races for now, such as Tengu and Skritt.
“LAY THAT SKRITT DOWN” is a reference to Tropic Thunder for SIOS Rise.

Really want feedback. I rarely seem to get it.

I’ve got some more shots of Chi.
Bit o’ professional photography.
Sorry about selfie arm.
I’m thinking pale brown/white with sparse black stripes. I love the style, you did a great job. =)
“Me (Chimie Pepsios) and my fellow warband members of the SIOS are a part of the Double Entente: a coalition force between the Adamant Guard and Seraph made primarily for the sake of enforcing the treaty, as a result we do not question others based on race, but by behaviour. Our objectives are simple: keep the peace by appropriate means.
Our company, and our centurion especially, receives a lot of slap for being so willing to work with the humans. We often help the Seraph squad in Divinity’s Reach. "
Good job. That could work well in a comic.
Although I am not a moderator, I would like to request that all please refrain from making any more posts attacking other users.
-Thankyou.
I have been posting on this forum for a while now
How long you have been on the forum does not matter if the person does not know you.
I just looked at the post, and I don’t see anything suggesting they think only males play the game. ‘He’ is just a term lots of people fall back on when the gender of the person in question is unknown.
‘They’ would be a better fall-back option, but not everybody, I imagine, knows that ‘they’ can be used in such a way:
“The “singular” they is the use of this pronoun as a gender-neutral singular rather than as a plural pronoun." -Wikipedia [28th December 2013]

Awesome.
I can’t think of a good reply that smartly implies I like this a lot.

Reeva.
She’s cute, and fun, in my opinion.
For me it happens with all the lines NPCs around the tower of nightmares campsite in Kessex Hills say, when my camera is not facing the NPC speaking and/or I’m a few metres away.
Reminds me of Mercenaries 2; any NPC you weren’t looking at had an echoed voice.
This game needs more pants for everyone.
Quote of the day right there.
Hopefully if we come up with enough good titles they’ll add it in. (Wishful thinking)
Is it just me or is every single post on this thread gone?
Ah… it was because a second page started…. NOW I can see the first page again.
It was like that for me to.
[Note]The Charr Cannoneer concept art is a picture of a Charr warrior with what the Charrzooka originally looked like.(Personally wish they went with shoulder mounted rather than rifle-with-massive-pipe-around-it)
*Whoosh*, *Bang*, Aaaaargh!
They are purely aesthetic. They do not attack or perform any action whatsoever.
Once bought you double click to ‘deploy’ the mini, if you will, and it will follow you round. It’s aesthetic fluff(Something nice to have, but not beneficial).
This is honestly what I think of when I see the new male faces. I don’t know why. I can’t help it. ;_;
Nailed it.
How do i get that removal crystal?
Gem store (Press O and go to services.). Listed as “Transmutation Splitter”.
It’s permanent unless you buy a transmutation removal crystal (single use), or apply a new skin.
Marksman for rifle mastery.
Adamant Guard for Iron legion Charr.
Glutton for the “All You Can Eat” achievement.
Prince Charming for Ogre Slaying.
Privateer for Pirate Slaying.
Exterminator for Bug Slayer.
etc…
Male Charr concept.
