try to play more like your wvw guild they do a lot better in fights without relying on tons of siege.

At the camp that evening we where with 8/9 people and at first moments only 1 balli up. Was a good fight and after first whipe we added an extra balli and ac.

At the keep we came there when you had 20+ guys and inner was going down already. 1 Sup ac was placed(which went down after first wipe) and 4 ballistas. Outnumbered we need to rely on siege as its only foolish to try with our little group to kill you all without siege. Also siege is a normal part of the game and I dont see why using a part of the game is considered unfair or anything.

When we meet again less outnumbered we will be more then happy to take you out without siege.

Could you tell you guild either to join the fight or to kitten off? Screwing around with golems is for 12 year olds.

1. Someone was bored and decided to throw some omega’s so we had a little fun with it.
2. gollems are part of the game whether you like it or not. Just a few sec ago out Bay got gollem rushed too and you dont see us crying here!

Gollems suck i know there is very little to do to defend against them when they are at the gate. But as long as they are a part of the game we all just have to live with it.

I’m currently running full knights armor and weapons (GS/Longbow) with 20/20/30 i have good sustainability and can do decent damage. Healing signet + Mango pies + adrenal health makes you even more tanky. I used to run a mainly PVT build but as your base health is high already getting more toughness has actually been working better for me. However i must say i play group fights mostly so if you are more looking for a 1v1 build or small group build you might better of with something else.

P.S.
Just dont forget above around 2000 power it gets worth investing into precision.

Actually the solution for me is alot simpler. Defending will also now gain some crafting materials/items for defending it for 3 minutes. The reward should be perhaps 1/4th of what you get for taking an objective or perhaps a bit less or more. This will give an extra incentive for defending. (some battles for keeps last hours) That way you can also farm loot while defending pretty easy.

The solution is very easy. Transfer to a low pop server and you wont even know what skill lag is.

Easiest solution for transfers is no more transfers to a higher ranked server. All you can do is transfer to a lower server which will help their population out.
Ow and of course closing the highest ranked servers for any new players.

Besides i dont understand what the fun is on being on a server who beats everyone all the time. Gaming used to be about challenges instead of what is the easiest way to win.

Just use any aoe skill with any class. Even on my warrior i can have lootbag heaven in open field zerg fighting. (longbow F1 skill + nr 3 skill)

Both FoW and Vabbi have seen their population increase. From what I see many people who are tired of queues or dont wanna roll in a massive zerg with constant skill lag. And of course commander Xyros is great to have around xD

Both Vabbi and Fissure of Woe are small warfare servers will a slowly growing playerbase. Both will welcome newcomers and because our playerbase is relative small alot are eager to help you with all your questions/builds/playing tips. And for now you will learn to play against larger numbers which will greatly increase your individual skill.

If you do want to join a larger servers I do suggest you do not join any of the top servers as they are extremely zergy.

I’m usually not complaining about the server match up but in this case I simply have to.

My server (Riverside [DE]) is loosing like the last few weeks but this week has been the worst so far. The average enemy zerg is at least twice as big (I can post some screenshots if needed). It’s even worse at night when the Canadians play on the French server. Most of the time the other 2 servers loose every single camp including the Keeps because there are way to many opponents. I’m not talking about 10v20, it’s more like 10v50.

There is a screenshot below showing how it currently looks like. We can’t even leave our own base which is no fun.

That usually on avarage day on FoW xD Well up until a few weeks ago at least. Since i play we have been in bottom tier with out friends Vabbi. Though I am happy our numbers are slowly growing. But being outmanned aint all bad for once it will help you to respect servers you play against who are outnumbered by you and you will learn to defend against larger numbers.

I agree with you guys but there are too many rivalries between FoW and Vabbi now that they wont see that things are just being made worse I just don’t see it working anymore

As a commander people follow you. I just only lead them to battle vs BT. (except today for a little bit to get my map completion :P)

People who spend time crying to fight enough in WvW :P No need for any kind of pact btw. With common sense and logic we all know that if we wanna make it hard for the 3th server we should work together. With all the trashtalking against our tier we should at least give them a hard time :P

I am a FoW commander during weekend and some evenings during working days. I for one only attack at Vabbi BL when i see the 3th server attacking you there. (with you defending and us taking green towers/camps we help you). If i see a Vabbi in any BL walking around i dont ever engage and prevent others around me from engaging in a fight. It is only natural the 2 smaller servers fight against the bigger one. As for most servers our tier is called boring or worse so we should at least show together we can put up a good fight. We can’t win but we gain at least both earn respect. All this trash mess from both sides is insane. None can speak for a server nor can anyone control all but we can almost both make sure the majority will not attack eachother.

Now time to play and kick some BT kitten

the system is only broken for ranks 1-5 think about that for a second.

And the bottom tier. T8 in North America, T9 in Europe. The bottom 2 servers in each cannot offer much competition even in prime time. It turns into a boring blowout week for which ever server gets matched up with them.

I play on RoF and we’re in the Eurotrash can tier for the 2nd time in 3 weeks. One major WvW guild left our server because of it, and most of us gave up WvW last Friday night. It doesn’t matter. We’re still walking all over Vabbi and Fow.

Those two servers need to be closed.

And RoF too as servers always need to be closed in a 3fold.

Anyways i dont understand why I hear colleagues at work complain they have to wait in queue to play WvW where on FoW we had a queue only once since i played. You want a good fight and a challange then join a lowranked server. (not to many of you though)

And tbh vs Blacktide was a nice matchup for both Vabbi and FoW and in a few weeks matchup will stabilize to a more decent level and huge differences wont occur so much anymore.

Nice duel, but you were moving towards your spawn,so I quit and moved. Just explanation whey I run after 10 minutes of fight.
FoW you got some really good players and today you managed to wipe us few times. Too bad RoF players instead of fighting were just talking trash on chat. Only few of them actually listens to me, so we left Dawn’s and Garisson.
You really are better than few weeks back.

@wlado yes if you take it from this matchup. But if you take it by rating and delete last 3, RoF will stay ingame.

We indeed have improved alot and also we are gaining numbers. I guess you guys looked strange today when we flipped SM and our keep in EB!! (thanks to Regan Brock and his boys) In our last match up i dont think we ever had a wp up and we do actually now. For me still fun playing and if we had a little more guys on during the night we could do even better.

P.S. Had fun dualling 1 of RoF close to your spawn in our BL. I think we were busy for around 10 minutes without being able to kill eachother. To bad few of my peeps showed up.

@RoF We did make alot of progress since our last meeting so i think we are able to put up a better fight this time. Our numbers have increased and some extra good commanders joined with some different tactics.

Im only a bit disappointed that when we FoW finally had a good zerg you guys started to interupt us. If you guys went for EB/RoS bl we could have actually made them sweat alot!

I didnt know not playing WvW seriously means building only 7 gollems to take a keep already having 3times as much players xD
Though nice one of RoS maybe just a little bit overkill.

and P.S. recruiting from the lowest pop servers is like lamest thing you can do…. Not everyone can afford a transfer shouldnt those people have fun playing WvW too?

I see alot of negativity about FoW. The only reason we keep losing is not tactics but people who play once get killed and then transfer as they are scared to have a little challenge. Tactics have no use if you are always massively outnumber like now. Vs blacktide we where outnumbered too but then tactics could stil lbe used to get a decent score.

Only solution is for people to stop transferring away from FoW and Vabbi. And imo transfer to our servers should be for free to even it out more.

To be honoust people shouldnt complain so much. We of FoW just stepped our game up the last few days and we actually have our own BL for almost 2 days. Some very good battles in EB against blacktide. Somehow i wish Blue could see us now

Well one both vabbi and FoW major issues are people lose a few times in WVW and give up. People do not realise they should be coming back so our numbers can build up as many times i see tons of people around just not in wvw. Last night for instance suddenly we had many many players on and actually managed to get to 300+ points before i had to log off. Also a part of the problem is both our playing style. When they are zerging in your bl its better to get a group of a few guys and go EB or Arbor BL and cap some camps/towers(keeps usually once swords are on zerg is incomming). So you can actually maintain a decent amount of points. (around 80/100 sadly is decent for us).

Also we should work alot more together. Sometimes disappoints me when we finally have our garrison and northern towers vabbi thieves come in to cap our camps. This way we will nevr get our stuff upgraded and a WP at keep. (not saying none of FoW never do it).
Anet will probably not make any favorable change so we should just always work together and not cap stuff of eachother.

P.S. I think all FoW agrees at least the mood is alot better in WvW since a certain player finally left.

I agree completly. Or they need to force more players towards vabbi and FoW and at least forbid any transfers to other servers. We are slowly bleeding dry of players.
I am just to proud to switch server as i think you just need to stick to your choice. (and perhaps any new players from EU can only join Vabbi/FoW for the time being)

Or maybe it is wise to at least cap the amount of enemies to same amount of defenders in your own Borderlands.
