Torment as a melee is just weird and doesn’t synergize at all. I am supposed to hit them a few times and then run around? What about ranged mobs that don’t run at all? Bosses?
After all, most of the time the main reason I want to skip that is to move myself to where I want to be before the fight starts so the Berserker is less likely to jump about.
You can go to the Berserker actual spawn location before the cutscene, there is enough time.
I agree with the OP, the cutscene is funny but seeing it too many times gets annoying. I take that as a yippee!

I went through HoT story with a Mallyx 100% torment duration build (rune of torment + malice sigil + trait + cheap pizza). Them torment stackz! Pretty much any creature that was moving melted. It is most likely not as good as Shiro zerk but I wanted something for lulz.
I think there is an item in the gemstore that makes your food last 24 hours.

It’s not his opinion – it’s a fact. ANet explicitly stated that they want to discourage people playing dungeons. So you can give suggestions all you want like people have been posting in this forum since release, they will just go in ANet’s dungeon suggestion box
People didn’t like those because in the later years you couldn’t find enough players plus hero/henching was more reliable.
You will get new legendaries in next expansion late this year.
I assume you mean update, not expansion.
Colin has alluded that a new expansion is/will be in the works. I seriously doubt it comes before 2017 but it is in the realm of possibilities.
Edit: And to reply to the OP – I would buy the chaos rifle. It will be a lot of time between legendary announcement, actual ingame release and actual obtaining the item as it will likely come with tons of grind, time gates and gold sinks.

The phrase pay-2-win is so misunderstood it’s getting funny. There is actually a large portion of the playerbase who believes that the game is pay-2-win because there is a mining pick that gives additional sprockets in the gemstore.

Why not just make the gate guards champions and reduce skritt damage? That’d slow stronghold games down a bit, hopefully less “30 seconds in and the premade has already killed the lord” scenarios.
Ummm… how about NO! Most of my Stronghold matches go the full 15 minutes. The quick runs should not be possible with balance patch today.
Same here. Big portion of my Stronghold games were decided by points. Changes shouldn’t be made to accommodate pugs being destroyed by premades because then balanced even matches might suffer.
Also, no to Raid of the Capricorn without major underwater combat changes. Hello immortal ranger. Run in, die, kill 2 people while getting rez’d by pet.
A good start. Also channeling should cause a player to lose all boons. I want people to fight over the point, not have the player with the longest stability get it.
Completely disagree. It’s a very strategic decision to decide if you got enough hp and stab to make yourself vulnerable for the channel duration. You can be killed, corrupted or CC’d easily in that time.
Why are people giving suggestions to fix premades rolling a pug team? Stronghold is not balanced around a coordinated team playing newbs. Every map is bad when that happens, it’s not the map’s fault.

Because it is easier to balance fractals – just turn up mob hp and dmg and come up with weird instabilities.
More options wouldn’t fix anything if nothing is being done about reports. I understand they must get tons of reports and I guess not all can be reviewed but it’s discouraging when you see blatant violators keep violating with no consequences.
I am leaving the t3 achievements (7 wins per prof) for next season. Barely managed those in t2 (5 wins per prof) without looking like a fool in the process.
Apparently, the new HoT stats are not available. I was really hoping for Viper or Commander but no cigar. Have to do reidz for them.

This reminds me of people ‘playing’ random arena in gw1 only to rage quit or vent frustration when their team had no monk.
Haha I remember that too. What was more hilarious when you finally get a team with a monk and he is smite. Poor smiter monks got raged on hard. That’s why I never ever played one in random arena.
Naix, this is only true when it’s an organized versus newbs. I got farmed a few times as solo queuer vs premade but unorganized vs unorganized it’s pretty balanced. A smart team would know not to defend with 5 people at lord unless it’s at the end of the game. If the attacking team wipes, this can completely turn a match as now the defending team can summon tons of breakers with the supply from kills and get ready for hero channels. Channeling heroes can be a comeback mechanic as getting both would give lots of points.
I mean I wouldn’t play it if going for a higher tier/division just to avoid the risk of meeting a premade that could roll me and make me lose 2 pips but otherwise I find it a cool map.

The Trahearne death is a response to the metric ton of threads within the first months of the game complaining about Trahearne being the hero and not the player and his annoying VO as well. Very many players expressed desire to engage him in combat and “pwn him”. It finally happened now.

Yah! The nerf to aura looks is really saddening… really REALLY. R-E-A-L-L-Y saddening. It’s one of those things they’ll never undo, and will still live on as a great failure on the graphics department. Oh well…
IMO not as bad as the ele staff 1 skill Fireball. It’s so maddeningly ugly right now that really messes up my enjoyment from playing the class.
Underwater combat was unbalanced as kitten. Ranger was pretty much immortal because of the downed 3 skill which heals for so much that it can outheal 2-3 people’s damage.Thief was constant evade. Necro shroud form can take you from 100-0 in 2-3 seconds. As far as I remember mesmer had some OP skills as well – like a pull that you couldn’t get out of.
I hope they are temporary because otherwise that would mean you have to reach the Legendary division to earn enough tickets for the back item which for me at least is impossible. If they reset that would mean you have to reach Ruby in two seasons or Sapphire in three seasons which sounds more reasonable if you are not a pro.
