Magic carpet is already in the gem store.. Why not mounts? Just make them pure aesthetics. I don’t mind riding a cool Pegasus when walking around. Maybe give them a 50% move speed bonus, and make it disarmed when attacked or attacking. Just like magic carpet except with the 50% move speed.

Switch stats meaning for free and no items required? I can just click a button and stats will switch?

Another question, where do I “buy” armor?

Thanks guys for all the advice guys. I’m not quite sure I got that free transmutation because when I try, it says “1 transmutation charge required.” But either way, thanks.

1) Yes, I understand that, but I can apply it to my crappy LVL 19 armor and it’ll still be available to me for all other armors as long as I have transmutation charges right?

2) Stuff like “Tomes of Influence” etc. There’s no way to turn on the descriptions?

3) I completed Queensdale, but I’m not lvl 20 so I can’t go into the next quest yet. I am just wondering if there’s a guide so I can learn about what I can do, like Crafting and mining which I had no idea before. I’m seeing some lodging so I guess I can chop trees?

So I recently got a chest of Primeval Armor from buying this game. I noticed that this says account bound.

1) I’m lvl 19 right now and I would like to look cool wearing this armor. Can I apply this set to all my armor as long as I have transmutation charges or can I only do it once?

2) There are a couple of items in my inventory that has absolutely NO description. Just a name and “double click to consume.” This is just for a few items, but it is still frustrating that I don’t know what it does. Is there a way for me to turn on the descriptions?

3) Is there a new player’s guide anywhere? I bought this game because I like sandbox games, but this game is WAY too sandbox. I mean I like that, but I have no idea where to go and what to do. I just came across a town where I just learned about crafting, and I had no idea that it existed before. I’m just looking for advice to see what I should be doing.

Are you kidding me? You can play GW2 on Max for a 700 dollar computer. 1.7K is unnecessary… for anything… You want to game? 1.3K is MORE than enough for 95% of games. 1.5K+ is needed for maybe about 10 games that are out there right now with 2 of them being Battlefield 4 and Crysis 3.

If you don’t want to game, and just need to do day to day clerical work, a 250 dollar rig will suffice. If you want a decent rig, a 400 dollar computer will suffice. 1K computer is considered an exceptional computer and only hardcore gamers or people who don’t know any better get anything over 1.5K computers.

You know what? Most of you guys are giving bad advice. This guy said his budget is 1.7K and you guys are telling him to get 32GB RAM and 500 GB SSD… COME ON… 500GB SSD? Seriously? What’s he going to put in it? Everything he has ever downloaded?

Here’s some real advice. Cut down your budget to 700-1.1K and then save the rest of the money for something else. But if you REALLY want to get a 1.7K computer, then ignore this advice. I’m just going to tell you that you won’t really ever use that computer to its full potential, possibly not even half the potential.

P.S. These prices are regarding building computers not pre-built computers.

Just a couple questions as a new GW2 player.

1) So if I start now, I am no longer able to experience season 1?

2) If I never play living world, my game will be a certain way until I play season 2? Then those changes made by season 2 will be permanent and I cannot revert it?

Did Hot not have some sort of graphical improvement? When I played beta for HOT, I noticed the graphics are a lot sharper, but I’m not sure if that’s just me.
