Still recruiting?
I received a message on reddit by Chris to come check out the website. This was a couple of weeks ago though.
https://gw2efficiency.com/account/characters/Eddie Mo.7169
GW2E doesn’t show all my armor though so I can list it out:
PS – Condi, Strength, and Extra Scholar set (used to be on rev)
Druid – Magi, Condi
Temp – Berserker set
Mesmer – Varying Commanders and Berserker’s pieces to make up 100% Boon Duration.
Rev – Exo Berserker set, can use the extra Scholar set.
(edited by Eddie Mo.7169)
Yeah this happened a couple of days ago, and it is happening again except the error is different.
“cannot connect to server” or something like that.
EDIT:
Closed GW2, reopened, and now it works.

Hi, I’m interested in joining. Thanks. I am on maybe all day today.
Hey, I just recently got back into the game after going abroad. I was an avid player before I left and I decided to give it a try when I came back.
I am sorry to say that I have no experience in raids, but do have ascended gears and above, and I will be happy to learn all the mechanics if you guys are willing to teach.
I play PS warrior.
I never knew why my computer fans always blasted while playing GW2… Now I know why. Whenever I play any other games, my CPU does not really go that high, but whenever I play GW2, it uses almost 100% of my CPU prowess.
I thought I f-ed something up when I built my computer…. NOW I FEEL BETTER…
OP’s offer was with the intention of helping people… curious that it has been decoded as a statement of soloability. Seriously, guys… plenty of those threads elsewhere. =/
To be fair it’s really just one guy trying to undermine OPs philosophies. OP says its solo able and is willing to teach. Dude comes in saying no without even trying to learn.
Only one guy, not guys.
100% unsoloable. You will not be able to experience the majority of the content without getting on to organized maps and working together with many other players. 100% map completion is possible solo, as long as other players have already worked together so that you have access to all areas of each map (so yeah nope, not soloable).
I know right? God it was so annoying when i was trying to solo the map. I was doing a HP, and all of a sudden someone flew in, and I was like “Dude! I’m soloing this! Go away!” and he was like “No way dude! I need this too! So I’m helping!”. This happened to me twice so far, so I just finally said in map chat “Okay dorks! I’m going to try and solo this HP here, but since none of you dweebs can stay away, might as well come and ruin it awhile!” And they DID!
Totally way past uncool
Best response I have ever read in a forum.
I’m in a small guild and maybe about 30 that regularly do events with us and we wrecked the GH fee/claiming with about 20-25 people.
I consider that a small guild, and it was really no trouble for us. 100G for 25 people is like 2 of the easiest dungeon runs a day for 3 days. Favors idk how we got, and I contributed 0 to that so they still accomplished it with 1 less person.
The claiming itself was easy also. 3 groups of 8 or 4 groups of 6 roaming around an area and you’re good.
Not trying to be rude but if you couldn’t do this that means you are either in a smaller guild or not trying at all. That being said, how small is your guild for you to find this hard?
The upgrades themselves are a bit tougher as they require more gold and farming, but we’re grinding them as we speak so no complaints here.
News flash 30 isn’t a “small” guild, that’s a normal mid sized guild, or what would be considered a big guild in wvw 25+, 5-10 people is a small guild. The cost or effort to claim is not the problem with guild halls, it’s the massive grind for upgrades that’s obviously much easier on bigger guilds.
Okay I guess that’s a big guild to you, to me I feel it’s very small since we don’t really do much together. Most of the time it’s 10 MAYBE 15 but that 30 is like asking all active players to come on at the same time.
If that’s big then there are crazy huge guilds with like 100-300 active players on at a time.
But that doesn’t really matter I’ll just go with what you’re saying and say a small guild is 5-10.
Now does that mean there’s a solution? Hardly because if they did upgrades based on guild size then they’d just kick everyone and pay the minimum before adding everyone again.
Then there’s another solution which is to pay rent according to guild size. Now that’s going to kitten a lot of people off.
I can’t see anymore possible or reasonable solutions but I would like to hear proposals.
LOLOL I’m usually on my phone and it makes these auto corrections if dealing with weird words. But yes I meant crosshairs
Not really. You pretty much move the corsair to that guy and that guy is your target. It’s like Counter Strike now.
Tab targeting is rendered obsolete by AC, but that does not mean everyone likes AC. So if you like your FPS/TPS, then AC is for you. I personally don’t like the AC that much unless I’m on a ranger or something because it doesn’t feel very MMO to me.
“Hey, guys. We released Heart of Thorns. Heard about it? Don’t worry, we nerfed a variety of things, including Fractals, Silverwastes, Dungeons, thus partially rendering bits of the core content useless, to make sure you buy Heart of Thorns, because gold farms and other things are more effective there, now. What’s that over there? Buy Heart of Thorns to unlock it.”
“Hey, guys. Remember Guild Boons and other features that had always been in the core content? We don’t. We remember Heart of Thorns. Buy it”
“Hey, guys. We implemented Precursor crafting, so that Precursor weapons are now just slightly more accessible. Don’t worry, you’ll still have to spend ludicrous amounts of money in order to get them. Some players will even resort to buying Gems and exchange those for gold, because they simply don’t have enough time to put into the game as much as others do, which turns these “journeys” into virtual grind/endless farm fests, so it’s all very profitable for us as well. And that’s only Part I of the collections! The other two Parts are even harder!"
“Hey, guys. Heard about the new Legendary Backpiece? You won’t have to spend a lot of money to get it. We promise. Don’t worry, we nerfed Ascended Chests’ drop rates to death, to the point where it’s virtually impossible to get Ascended pieces from the Fractals, so you’ll have no choice but to spend more money in order to craft Ascended Armor/Weapons, so you can get a Ball of Dark Energy. Just one? Of course not, silly. You’ll need 6 total for all three parts’ item collection phases, as well as 1 for Finite Result, another for Upper Bound, and another for Unbound, so that makes it 9! What’s that over there? An item you can’t have unless you have Masteries enabled? Buy Heart of Thorns to unlock it.”
“Hey, guys. We feel that certain items shouldn’t be up for grabs on the Trading Post, so we’re making those account-bound. They must be “earned”. It’s a “journey”. Don’t worry, the process of acquiring them is so off-putting, you’ll have no choice but to spend more money in order to get mats and other items needed. It’s basically the same thing as things being on the Trading Post, since players are still pouring gold/real money into the game, so, ultimately, it looks like we changed things, but we changed nothing. But you don’t mind, do you? Also, buy Heart of Thorns."
“Hey, guys. What’s that? There’s a middle ground to things? You mean things can be challenging, yet enjoyable and not ridiculously lengthy? Pfft, don’t be silly.”
“Hey, guys. You like [insert content here]? Then you'll love Heart of Thorns.”
1. I don’t even know if HoT has “more effective gold farming methods.”
2. Okay.
3. I’d actually be kittened if everyone was able to get a legendary 3 months into playing. I agree legendaries should be lengthy as they aren’t necessary.
4. See #3.
5. It was always like that.
6. I’m loving the challenging content actually.
Don’t really agree with any of your points except for #2, but still entertaining read. Funny af.
Thanks for the replies.
She can try places like Amazon.com. They still sell the core version only.
Wow thanks, I didn’t even know physical copies of the game existed. Is it possible to get a digital?
I’m in a small guild and maybe about 30 that regularly do events with us and we wrecked the GH fee/claiming with about 20-25 people.

Tl;dr -
If you purchase the digital deluxe upgrade with a F2P account, do you officially own Core and have no more F2P restrictions? Or do you just get the mail items but still have restrictions?
Long version -
My friend says she is interested in trying GW2, but she doesn’t like the restrictions when I showed it to her.
Basically she says she wants to play, but without restrictions. So pretty much she wants to play Core even if she has to buy it. Then she’ll decide from there if she wants HoT or not.
She pretty much does not want to buy HoT no matter how much logic I throw at her even though I told her it comes with the Core game and if she buys Core and plays HoT. I also tried telling her that if she does this, she’s going to be paying like 75 dollars rather than just 50 dollars. She’s okay with that.
So I was wondering, if she signs up for the F2P version, then buys Core for 2000 gems (around 25 bucks), can she now play without restrictions?
I am one of those people who really want mounts to come, but I understand why they are not being implemented.
Why we should have mounts: Even if they don’t give a speed boost, mounts are a nice way to make your character look nice. People buy cool looking armor and weapons for a reason, so why not mounts?
Why we shouldn’t have mounts: Most items are not race specific, so neither should mounts. But, if a Human gets a horse, what about a Norn? Solution? Race specific mounts, but then that could be a huge problem when the Charr decides they really like the Asura mounts.
None of you know what devil’s advocate means…
I also heard 2 weeks after launch, but apparently not.
Bought it,
tried it,
tried it more,
tried it a lot,
regret buying it.
Nothing for solo players there.Soloing is incredibly easy in the open world, all the adventures are completely solo content and the personal story is solo content.
Good for you, I guess?
What is good for me? I’m refuting a claim that there is nothing for a solo player when there clearly are things specifically for solo players. Let alone that you don’t need to be in a group to do group content, and much of the “group content” can still be soloed.
Soloing this new content requires people to get good though.
HoT isn’t bad, gliding is fun and I really like the revenant gameplay as long as they don’t nerf it but I’ve pretty much seen it all now and nothing of the little amount of actual content is engaging enough to keep me playing, SW is still the most fun and rewarding map, dungeons even tho nerfed to death are more rewarding than any of the new maps and events, and I know that raids are coming but they’ll probably be bugged for the first few weeks and the crashes and dc’s are still a thing with the 64bit client still in beta so I can’t really say anything about that.
I’m not really feeling the 50 bucks worth of expansion here, ofc I really don’t have a choice if I want to continue playing with friends and guildies but it’s really biting at me.
Am I too sour?
I dropped 100 bucks for the deluxe edition and I am glad I did. I am loving the chain events, difficulty, the players coming together, masteries, build diversity, and I’m super excited for the things to come: Raids, legendaries, Stronghold, etc. I am not liking some aspects of it: Itzel poison lore, but overall it has been super fun.
I don’t really have any qualms with spending $100 bucks on a game I really like, but I understand not a lot of people is as spendy as me.
If 50 bucks is dear to you then I suggest to wait till Christmas. They always have Christmas sales.
Thing is, NCSoft never reveals the sales #s before the launch quarter. So that 20,000 MKRW is only for GW2 Core. All of the GW2 HoT Sales will most likely be included in the very next quarters financials. I predict It will go up to 50,000 MKRW.

I am going to touch on the poster from above and say sorry guy the gaming reviews are not good. HOT is not sucessful and you stil have 30 days from the time of purchase to get your money back. As long as the company wants us to spend money from something of little value your going to see this resistance. And the 11 year old has way little buying power than the older adult. You need the adults to keep game afloat. At the rate this is going on your going to see a complete boycott of the game and a complete shut down. And I hate to say this but the reviewers are claming this as the game keeps nickle and diming the player and their no grind philosophy and ELU agreeement has gone out the window.
Thanks a lot for the info, head of NCSoft internal revenue.
Test have you even bought the expansion?
I mean you seem to have explored the only 4 maps pretty extensivly to say they are only as big as 4 core world maps.
Please finish 4 core world maps then time it (on a new char), then finish the 4 hot maps without any masteries in the same time. What? They just said four PvE maps. They never said anywhere that they are only as big as 4 core world maps. Where did the translation go wrong for you? You started adding your own stuff to Test’s post that was never said.
At OP, it’s 50 bucks for the expansion. Plain and simple, Anet isn’t budging or reducing the price. They don’t care if you are a veteran or new, they want everyone to pay the same, regardless if you have already bought the core game.
From what I remember, as long as you bought your account before a certain date, you got a free character slot as “compensation” for being a veteran player. But I have no idea if they are still doing that or if it was only for pre-purchases.
All you can do is either buy it now, or wait till it goes on sale some time in the future. For now, there is still plenty to do in the core game, and with you being gone for awhile, I’m sure there is plenty of new stuff to keep you busy till then hopefully. Like, for example, Living World Season 2 if you missed it. If you’re not keen on getting HoT just yet, pick that up instead in the Gem Store and play through that to get up to date on what is going on with HoT.
Test
And really, it’s $50,00 for basically 4 new PvE maps. Only 4.Maybe its just me but this sounds to me that its only as big as 4 core world maps, since its only 4 emphasized.
Not saying that each have 1-4 layers ontop of eachother making them much bigger then core maps.
Maybe I should go to mcdonalds and complain that its 20$ for only 100gram of hamburger meat when I buy a combo meal aswell.
Except you’re reading into what they said too much. You’re adding your own conclusions, and then trying to argue with them based on your own assumptions of things they never said.
They simply said 4 new PvE maps. Only 4. Yeah they have multiple layers, but they are indeed only 4 PvE maps. Those multiple layers are not entire maps, they are only pieces. It’s not like an entirely new map on each level. It’s only a few platforms or a few tunnels. So technically, it’s like one and a half, maybe two maps in one.
And here you are proving my point its more then 4 maps, we even dont have to load bettwen the layers as we do in every core game map. 1½-2 for each map is bigger then 1
And yet, it is still 4 PvE Maps. Regardless of layers, they are PvE maps. So… only 4 PvE maps.
You do realize some of the old maps have multiple layers as well right? There is plenty of old maps that have lower levels and upper levels too. Are they not considered PvE maps because they use multiple layers? No. In the end, they are still PvE maps.
Again, you’re trying to make a big deal out of something that was never said.
Guys, yes there are 4 maps and we all agree they are larger than Core maps. Also Test (check his post history) will have been trying to emphasise “just 4” without explaining the size difference – he has been doomsaying HoT before it even launched and I’m not sure if he even bought it so take his input with a pinch of salt (this is why Linken interpretted Test’s post in the way he did).
Every time I come across Tests posts…
It’s like I revert a little back to how we think humans acted millions of years ago… The urge to eat flesh…
^^ Ahh I never understood what you meant by that, but I recently discovered that the passive stops working once you activate it. Now it’s cleared up.
I also found your GW2 comprehensive guide by you and Element. Very helpful guide and got me to understand a lot of Warrior mechanics.
Any plans on testing Berserker specializations and updating the guide with them?

It’s not only one map if it’s huge. Runescape is only one map. WOW is only a couple of maps. However many maps there are doesn’t dictate their size. Their size dictates their size. This should be obvious.
No idea why some people are saying MMORPGs have been terrible the last few years solely because they came out with a new way to make money.
Nah, it’s not just about the way they make money. That really is a personal beef from player to player. What’s really telling is how the MMO genre is stagnant in that nearly every single MMO plays virtually the same:
Tab targeting.
Grab quest and do it.
Level up and move from zone to zone until max.
Simply run the “end game” until you get the best gear.Sure, there are games that try to do different things, but their core boils down to the same formula. TERA, ACTION combat… but still has 2, 3, and 4. Guild Wars 2? 1, technically 2, and 3. 4 is also technical if you consider ascended gear, though that isn’t absolutely necessary to have to do and see everything. Most games do all 4. And that’s a really watered down list, there are also other “side” mechanics, like crafting that is either the method of getting the best gear, or something you likely wasted time and gold on.
Really, the MMO that breaks away from 2, 3, and 4 and delivers an experience LIKE GW2’s living world… only procedurally generated and influenced by player actions as well as NPC faction interactions, will revolutionize the genre (like what Everquest Next promises..) Basically, MMO’s need to be built to be worlds people want to virtually live in and have some influence over, not crappy little themeparks with a thousand goal posts that change nor accomplish nothing upon clearing each and every one.
It’s quite ironic, but single player RPGs, which have zero incentive to keep players playing long term, release with more compelling content and they can keep players playing for hundreds to thousands of hours.
Something about MMO design is so fundamentally broken that it will take throwing caution to the wind and daring to make a huge loss on producing a truly unique MMO experience to break it out of its rut. People want to complain about reused assets in their expansions? The MMO has been essentially a reskinned, lightly modded variant of World of Warcraft/Everquest for a while now. WoW and all the other nomadic player bases are proof people want a good MMO… it’s just too bad developers/publishers can’t seem to think outside of the box and stick to tired old concepts that have long since needed to die. …Like leveling. Seriously, stop developing worlds only for 3% of it to see regular use in the end. And if you’re implementing some deleveling/power balance system for visiting lower level zones, why have leveling at all? It’s a self defeating concept.
You make very good points. Better than the people here who only talk about the way that MMO’s make money. I assure you there are people who don’t care about the points you made and solely focus their attention on the business schemes of MMO developers.
That being said, money does play a big role. No MMO wants to not make money. The MMOs right now exist for a reason: because people like them and are willing to spend money on them. There were some MMOs that were released that had no zones, no levels, and was basically a virtual world. I can only think of two successful ones: Second life, and The Secret World.
There were others but I guess they weren’t being played enough to usher in a new form of MMO. Then there’s the question: If someone truly creates an MMO that has never been seen before, are people going to go for it and spend money on it?
Then there’s the age related questions: All of the MMO veterans play EQ, L1, L2, WOW, RS, UO, DAoC, etc. These certain veterans find MMOS stale because basically they played them all. But to someone who has never played those games before, games like WOW and GW2 are by no means stale and stagnant. I, for one, having played most of those MMOs still find that most MMOs are the same, but I still find them to be great. I live in the story, and their world.
GW2 is far from the perfect MMO, but it isn’t the best today solely because the MMOs of today suck, at least not in my opinion.
Expansions are supposed to add endgame content, not more nub stuff. It’d be nice, but it’s kinda not how it works.
Besides, didn’t your moms ever tell you not to go into the jungle alone? It’s dangerous in there!
Why not both?
Definitely both would be good nice, but since most people spend most of their time on the endgame, it makes more sense to expand on the endgame.
No idea why some people are saying MMORPGs have been terrible the last few years solely because they came out with a new way to make money.

Lmao do you not see the power creep you would want to insinuate? Jesus Christ, these are horrible ideas. Please never be a game developer.
Power creep already happened… Warrior got left behind.
Hmm that’s very weird because I checked the game notes and on Oct 23, 2015, it says “Living World.” Maybe it was where LS2 left off?
Edit: OK I found out what I misread. SO… It says the worse has HAPPENED. Meaning yeah they are just summarizing LS2.
So I was going over the patch notes and notice that on Oct 23, the living world starts as the pact airship falls to Mordremoth. Does this mean that HoT is officially LS3 or it just the world that’s changing and we will get our first LS3 episode later on?
^^ The warrior was in a really good spot before the buff of other classes.
I also could not log in, I tried adding -repair at the end of GW2, but when I ran it, about 10% in, it was “Not Responding.”
Needless to say, I closed it and ran it again. Fortunately, this time it’s running smoother. Will post an update to see if it works.
Edit: It crashed again after being ~50% in. Will try again.
Edit: 3 times crashed, will not try repair again.
Edit: Tried to log into the game after the 3 fail repair attempts, and I’m in somehow in… Soo…. Hoorah!

Come on ANET I haven’t done my dailies yet and I have work the whole day tmr
K and by the same token I’ll expect all the undeserving 10s to be updated as well.
What if they really think it’s worth 10?
There’s been a lot of threads like this actually, I wish ANET would merge them.
Come on devs! Merge em please!
On topic, they got my love.
Are you sure you aren’t downloading a new patch? Sometimes the game automatically closes to download the new patch.
If not, then try tech forums.
Not to this level. 3K complaints in 3 days. But in the grand scheme of things, 3K is still little.
Do you remember the anti-ascended threads from immediately after it was announced?
They had a LOT of people defending them though, because the grind took apparently so long, that they really just thought it’s okay not to use. People eventually got ascended a few days later, and noticed it wasn’t that much faster.
This is different, the people who didn’t grind HP, didn’t proceed. They couldn’t even play the later content because… well… they just stopped.
I don’t agree with you, OP. I want my legendaries the moment I buy and log into the game. All of them. I also want to have 999,999 gold on every character. Why bother grinding all that stuff? This isn’t Grind Wars 2… Just give that to us ANET.
There are so many Drama Queens of Hyperbole running around today…
It’s true though. If they complain about 10 hours of grind for those hero points, how long before they complain about not having a ascended item within the 3rd week of playing?? How long before they start complaining about not having a legendary precursor for 20 pristine fractal relics?
I mean seriously, complaining about those hero points are like buying the game and saying “hmm why am I not lvl 80 yet? it’s been a good 12 seconds.”
Sad reality is that if ANET does cater to every whim of the vocal minority, the game might really get nerfed a whole lot more.
I don’t agree here simply because people always knew that legendary and even ascended items would take a lot of time and effort. This was never misrepresented by Anet at all.
However when you look at new Elites which are sort of a watered down version of new classes of course people would expect to be able to have access to them right off the bat or with far less work required. There are 2 points that I would say gave this impression to players:
1 – Gw1 players (as well as other games who in time got new classes through exspanions or what not) got to play with new classes straight away with new expansions. Sure they did not have access to all of the skills as some were locked away behind Skill Points or challenges. But the class in general could be played with 100% of the core mechanics in place.
2 – The Betas. See the update notes on this and Anet’s view on it. Basically they never told us the amount of effort that would be required or what not. So it was assumed that with the expansion these would be a main feature to actually be able to play the bulk of the content in HOT with. Not the opposite which actually was – this is the bulk of the content or the reward for doing the bulk of the content.
Summary, another snafu on Anet’s part in communication and I guess you could say advertising of HOT. And a pretty big one at that thus the fix they are doing today. They really do need to polish this sort of thing for future. Not saying that to be rude or anything as I think they are a great company and the game is great. But not all things can be foreseen of course especially when you are working hard to bring the content out and are so excited to be able to finally release it to the players. Just have to cross those T’s and dot those I’s more is all. :P
This is not being about Casuals vs Hardcore’s or people being too lazy/useless to be able to put the work in. This is a PR/communications issue just like the pre-ording issue we had.
1 – You have very little starting skills in GW1.
2 – True, but they stated it would not be unlocked immediately. I assume that meant 2-5 hours of grinding, but it turns out it was 8. That was not that far off.

Sad reality is that if ANET does cater to every whim of the vocal minority, the game might really get nerfed a whole lot more.
If all one has are slippery slope arguments its a pretty solid indication that one’s position might be on shaky ground.
People have complained about not having ascended immediately since its inception. People have complained about the difficulty of getting precursors since launch.
Etc.
Its been over three years….hasn’t happened yet.
Not to this level. 3K complaints in 3 days. But in the grand scheme of things, 3K is still little.

Vocal minority? Ha ha ha ha ha! The people wanting this change are the vast majority, pal.
Do people honestly forget that this MMO was designed to be casual at the start and that’s what most of its players like things to be?
I didn’t buy this MMO looking for a challenge, I bought it as a fun romp open world game. I have WoW and FFXIV for challenging PVE.
Vast majority was probably happy/okay with the change but didn’t care if it didn’t happen. Example: My guild and I who didn’t mind grinding all those points, but was still happy when it got nerfed.
The vocal minority are the people who whined about it and threatened to quit on the forums without even playing enough to unlock those points and have no clue what is next.

Haha I love it!
All the new numbers prove is that the pro Anet “activists” are more fanatical than the negative “activists”
There are very few honest reviews in that entire mess.
Which is already invalidated by the current forums status.
Who trusts a rating system whose overall score is based on so many 0/10 and 10/10 reviews 3-4 days after release.
Should be the last place to look for any semblance of valid review, the demographic of players influencing that score seems pretty clear. Ragers and white knights.
Not talking about reviews, but the # of ragers who thought they were the majority.
I don’t really see that as being relevant. One extreme is just as bad as the other and both are minority subjective opinion.
Objectivity, it appears, it not required to review video games on Metacritic.
^This.
If matters if one side or both sides think that the one side was the majority. No we know that it isn’t the majority.
There are quite a few reviews giving the expansion a 10 that don’t even discuss the actual game, but rather try to discredit any and all criticism leveled against the it. Most of these reviewers have just one review in their history; perhaps they didn’t realize we could check that…perhaps they didn’t realize how thinly veiled their white-knighting would be when they rushed to ArenaNet’s defense.
My favorite review is this one…
“Even if ithink it need improving, not-so-smart ppl using score to get theyr way needs to stop. And this 10/10 is to help that at leats in a small way. Go ANET”
That’s one’s ironic on many several levels. Objectivity, it appears, it not required to review video games on Metacritic.
Heyy, I wanted to post something similar but you beat me to it. Oh well, I’ll just post it anyway. Enjoy:

“So depressing and dull one loses interest in the new ‘content’ after say 20 mins of trying to figure out which mushroom to jump on to reach the champion you cannot fight. Soulless game that forces players to play the new ‘areas’. Problem is no one wants to play there.”

My personal favorite is the “grind grind grind… 0/10” that’s all he wrote.

There are many 0/10’s that are also not justified.
Haha I guess we now see who and how vocal the minority is.
Elite Specializations & Hero Point Feedback [Merged]
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

I’ve yet to see a MMO expansion where players log in and have all of their new skills in day 1 and I sure hope this isn’t the first one, don’t let the door hit you on your way out.
Factions.
What? I had to unlock skills in factions.
Yeah…and it took all of 2 hours to unlock all the core class skills.
Amirite?
LOLOL did you even play factions? You have to capture every single skill. I’ve been playing GW1 for 9 years and my skills captured in faction is still only 115/130. And these are only elite skills. You have to unlock the thousands of regular skills… I’m by no means a noob either since I have 35 HOM and 11 titles maxed. I’m working on all 37 titles maxed.
If anything it’d take around 50 hours if you do it quickly and efficiently. Then you have to farm up money to buy skill capture skills which cost 1K each, and as a lol 1, 130k is hard to come by…
GJ spreading false info.
I think fireflyry was being sarcastic; mocking the people who complain about not having the specializations unlocked 2 hours after playing.
Ah if that’s true then my apologies to firefly. I just really dislike when people spew false info so I got worked up.
