if the team lost mid fight in 5 secs its reasonable to afk since the match will just be a blow out anyway. its better to go afk and wait for a balanced match instead.

This is a problem in S4. Also will happen in S5. The balance patch can’t easy to fix it. It also like condition stacking and boon spam problem. They came from design, not balance. This a irresponsible design and a fail teaching material for game designer.
Yup not sure whats the point of playing another season with 4 Dhs per team eevery game. PvP will remain garbage until something gets done about this class and condi mes aswell
Bad balancing because necro class doesn’t work ideal/good at all without all time support.
It does requires players to work together as team.
In solo q most of the time you don’t get any support just die respawn run back and die some more and run back more till you finally get a team where you get 1-2 decent teamplayer soloers.
In solo q players are rare that have decent teamplay skill even if they can 1v1 but don’t have teamplay skill they worth like nothing they are just solo hero build carryed bads.Any decent player knows at start of the match their necro will be zerged hard so need all help possible, any little bit of help is better than no help at all and lose the match or blame on necro ( which is the easiest ) why he dies in 6sec to zerg that comes at him.
Balancing needs to be done for SoloQ’s as thats what most people play till they don’t get bored of unbalance / waiting but balance is not coming. All classes should have about same chance to survive/run away/fight reset/catch players trying to run away. Guardians for an example can hit with bow from far + catch anyone trying to run away with 1 button press. People run away from me if they are low on health and survive or even restart fight and attack again with burst damage when about every defensive skill is on CD + LF sucked but i can’t run away from people if im low on health? Balance.
This. get necros in your solo q= lose the match
get Dhs in your solo q= win the match
Builds that can self sustain, support and deal a lot of AoE damage are the Kings of solo Q. who freakin cares that necro is good in pro league when u have to run some specific ele build and specific comp to make necro work. necro is just garbage everywhere except in organanized teams.
I dont play necro and I hate having necros on my team because they just insta die and the game is lost from there
cant eliminate stacking when people can just class swap just nerf overperforming classes that are still strong even if theres 3 of the same class on one team
No it shouldn’t. Because solo q dosent have any class distrubtion and is totally randomized, some builds are overperforming in solo Q thus people stack the same class up to 4 times and there is absolutely nothing you can do.
Enjoy the aids of season 5 if DH dosent get nerfed. A bunch of scrubs standing still and spamming aoe damage. Im just gonna play Dh aswell I dont care. If you cant beat them join them. When there will be 4+ Dh on each team maybe anet will do something

LMAO DH doesn’t lose to any class? Oh man what a comical statement that is. Sorry OP, but I’ve literally taken on 2 Trap DH’s at the same time. The fight ended with my stomp anim playing above both of their bodies. If you want to learn how to defeat a DH, try watching episode 1 of Best Player, it’s linked in my signature.
You probably play DH yourself or some other faceroll bunker build
DH still hard counters thief , necro mes too hard and rev has to compleltly outplay to win vs them. This is bad for the game
The only class in the game that dosent require dodging and can just spam cooldowns like blocks and invul while standing still and dropping AoE damage. Despite how easy it is to play this class it also too rewarding for the amount of effort required. It also hard counters thief, mes , warrior , necro and invo rev and the other match ups it can stalemate so basically Dh dosent even lose to any class 1v1 ( unless you use some useless build made for 1v1 )
Combine that with the fact that normal games dont have proper class distribution system and even if 2 builds out of dozens are good vs DH you will most likely not have them in your solo Q to counter a stacked Dh trapper team.
Just give me a reason to play any other classs than DH in a normal ranked or unranked game. if I can just stand still and spam AoE damage while blocking half of the time and the other half being invul.
Something needs to be done about DH . Either cut the block duration in half or make it at least weak to condis.
The fact of the matter is a stacked Dh trapper team in solo Q is nearly impossible to beat with pugs so the pro league balance dosent matter to 99% of the player base. DH trapper is very OP in normal games that are not team vs team or the pro league games. Because you cant have an optimal comp and team coordination to take this build down especially when stacked together.
Its also the only class that I see stacked the most. teams with 3 warriors, 3 thieves, 3 mesmers, 3 eles or whatever dosent happen very often compared to teams with 3 DHs. I wonder why so many people play it well I think I know why…
I have tip for you – get to diamond in season 5 and you will discover that DH’s started to mysteriously disappear from most of your matches…wise people say that DH’s are weak to people who dodge.
Tell me how Dh is weak if it dosent have a counter 1v1 except bunker scrapper and ranger that will never kill him. A weak class is a class that loses most match ups like necro is a weak class. Not DH

do you think its fair my class will be utterly unusable in the highest tier of gameplay simply because you were too bad to dodge a single trap?
1% of players play at the highest tier. Im not sure why people would care. Guard still hard counters more than half of the classes in the game and that’s not a l2p issue. Guard is OP in solo Q and there is no doubt about it

In counter strike you get banned for 5 days from competitive mode if you leave a game on like 3 rd offense
