I really hope all the Maguuma commanders are bracing for a WvW population drop-off if we actually reach gold tier. You are not a realist if you think silver will have good matches.

I can’t imagine what made you transfer to Mag that isn’t consistent with us wanting to fight stronger servers. Did you come for karma trains?

The last few weeks, we have faced Ebay, BP, CD, SoS and SBI. SoS and SBI PLANTED us. We didn’t beat either one. Ebay was great thru most of the week, I personally know the competition on BP (and they are good), and CD is pushing pretty good still, even though they are down in this current matchup. Mags is in a weird spot population-wise that will get us completely dominated against gold and will dominate almost 1/2 of silver. If I have to choose getting my kitten kicked constantly against 3-1 / 4-1 odds or winning, sorry, but I choose winning.

Just for the record, the guild I am in and I switched to maguuma as we were tired of the egos on BP. Maguuma is karma train after karma train after karma train. That isnt winning, that isnt fighting, that is just running with the pack accomplishing no long term benefits.

PPT means nothing. Most organized groups want gold for the chance at some good fights.

Do you really enjoy the matchups where we win by 50k+? Because we’ll have a lot of those if we stay in silver. Winning is boring. Bring on the losing!

Being outnumbered 3-1 or 4-1 is NOT fun under any circumstances.

How do you figure? Being outnumbered 3:1 or 4:1 is the BEST way to learn how to get better and fight harder.

How can anyone LEARN from getting killed constantly in those odds? What are you smoking and can you pass it over please?

This may be hard to grasp, but many groups on the server don’t die vs 2-3:1 odds.

There was talk of a double team. I was commanding. I said I don’t care who gets the keep as long as I get bags. Bags were acquired. One of those bags had a keep in it. It happens.

In terms of the double team tonight, it was a very strong push by both mag and FA. We held hills as long as we could with our 20 members, but there was a HUGE stream of red. Bay fell while we were over at hills.
The 3-way fight over at garison was interesting to say the least. FA hit our watergate while maguuma pushed in behind them. Then FA held lords room while Maguuma held the inner walls. Great job taking on 2 queued servers at once for so long SBI!

I don’t usually post on these forums, but I thought I’d give it a go. We on SBI are aware that we most likely are not ready to go against the core T1 servers. Honestly, that does not matter to us. We are here to play our best and see how far we can go.

There has been a lot of talk in game that the servers we are facing are tanking on purpose to avoid the Gold League. If that is true for anyone then I ask that you come at us with everything, as we are trying to get an accurate idea of where we stand. Like many servers, SBI has its share of fair weather players, uplevels, and inexperienced undergeared players who do not get on Teamspeak. Despite this, we are continuing to move forward as a server as best we can. There are many guilds and players on SBI that have not been content over the past few weeks of blowouts, and have been improving themselves in preparation for a matchup like the one we have now. As a member of SBI I can say we are thrilled to have a chance to prove ourselves against such worthy opponents as FA and Mag.

As a member of Abys I would like to ask that we not be underestimated even though we are newcomers to SBI, and come from a lower tiered server such as Darkhaven. As I am sure any FA who were in their bl last night can attest, we love a good fight and can do surprising things with our numbers.

Were you the Abys member that was griefing spectators during last night’s DDLG/VR scrim? That thief needs a good spankin’…
