guard with range pets = turrets ! ensuring my pet won’t DIE in boss fight where i place them at a safe spot and ALLOW my pet to shoot at them
what about warhorn and other weapons ? cooldown for most weapons are way to high for it’s damage output even it’s 40% damage nerf due to pet
need more spammable weapon skill like hunter’s call as it does less damage the longbow rapid shot but it’s having 25 sec cd
GG holiday time, point 3 1500 range by default doesn’t break the game given with current arrow speed and damage

during the beta, rangers pet was doing so much damage but now ………. im lost
till they decided to reduce the cooldown for warhorn, buff trait, buff signet, buff long bow, buff overall damage of ranger and improve AI for pet then i will play GW2 again im taking a long long break
DEV if you reading this, stop coming out with new contents when the basic needs is not there
i have been rolling here and there, played all classes the easiest class to play is either warrior or thief, for PvE thief might have a little struggle but when WvW thief is a no brainer….. for warrior it’s just a steamroller for everything
looking forward to see them reduce the cooldown of warhorn, hunter call should be more spamable as it does less damage then longbow rapid shot i don’t see the reason why it’s 25 sec CD even with trait it’s still too long for the damage output
call of the hunt, enough saying with trait is 28 sec ….. seriously just lower it somemore
rangers are seriously outclass in term of weapon cooldowns !
1. STILL looking forward for more BUFF in longbow in term of ATTACKING SPEED it’s still too slow and arrow flying still slow but overall it’s way more better then it used to be

4. buff regen signet
5. buff natural healing
6. rework minor traits
since the new patch going on, does this STILL affect on the ranger like it used to be ??
been testing out doesn’t seem to help, before the recent patch it used to boost “Natural Healing” additional 50 regen hp
a beastmaster can be easily taken out !
only fools will go toe to toe with the pet… just straight up on the ranger and you get a free food
im a beastmaster only people who are smart enough they will ignore my pet and chase me and thats how i got killed …… there isn’t much escape ability for ranger
just look at thief with shadow step and stealth, any thief that lost in a fight of 1 v 1 is a noob theif

toughness doesn’t suggest us to get hit, it only help us to stay alive as flamer isn’t a long and huge range it’s a pretty close combat weapon, how many time can you blast them away or blind them ?
to be honest i have tried using pistol as con build it doesn’t work well power build pistol with crit is alot better
smoke vent is good but the area of effect is way to small
Please don’t take away toughness from juggernaut trait it’s very important for a flamer ! if you realize that flamer is a close combat weapon yes yes yes knock them back but how many times can you do that ? just leave the trait alone currently now that trait is prefect
what is with the “obstructed” even using elixir gun elixir F or net shot on a flat ground behind or infront of my target i still suffer “obstructed” effect

Poison Dart Volley too much missing just change it to a single target if not losing alot of dps and blowtorch overall everything is awesome

the damage is way too low skill 1 cannot even match pistol skill 1, therefore if it’s buff abit more it won’t attach more people to use it

elixir gun: obstructed from Elixir F
rifle: obstructed net shot
even there are times using on flat ground without anything block and directly behind chasing enemy i still get obstructed for no reason while comparing with warrior’s Aimed Shot, ranger’s Crippling Shot and other class snare attacks felt like they are far more superior
elixir gun: buff Tranquilizer Dart physic damage and condition duration as i felt it’s a underdog kit overall usage Super Elixir, and acid bomb for escaping.
flamethrower: Flame Jet currently is good enough but can be much better as in the “missing” rate seriously noone will stand still and burn anyone as a flamer i will run around trying to dodge and burn but the missing rate is so high i suggest increase the range to 500 and the area of effect wider.
flamethrower: Flame Blast is this skill trolling ? it’s hardly any useful when it hits good but mostly misses as in the AOE blast, hopefully it should be change
flamethrower: Smoke Vent increase the radius to 240 and that will increase its usefulness
Pistol: Explosive Shot increase the duration back to 4 sec or increase the firing rate to allow stackable bleedings
pistol: Poison Dart Volley change it to single target as in now it’s missing really badly losing alot of dps compared with other classes like warrior rifle volley or ranger longbow Rapid Fire
jumpshot: the landing is slow and sluggish easily been counter due to slowness
pistol: Blowtorch same as flame jet too much missing for a crone attack skill even directly behind an enemy if they move slightly abit away missess
all turrets “should” have abit more lesser cooldown for easier redeploying or when pickup the cooldown is ZERO
either lower the cooldown of mortar for more re-deploying or change mortar into a kit thus this might solve most people complain of longer range weapons, i prefer it changes into a kit
toolkit should redesign as now i guess probably very little use it for pvp
things that are not possible but still hoping for
Rifle: since most people want a longer range weapon why not turn current rifle into a shotgun Blunderbuss as skill 1 auto attack of course it won’t base on current damage

if only swiftness will allow charr to run on all four …. as a charr engineer who have perm swift my charr always run on two which makes me SAD
okay lets make this the current rifle for engineer hip shot will change from range 1000 to 600 with a cone attack radius much like guardian staff skill 1 attack, then make a sinper kit for engineers NOW everyone should be happy you have shotgun and sinper kit oh wait why not turn elixir gun into a sinper kit long range poison dart that make sense
