im still using soldier + knight (WvW) and zerker + Knight (PvE) and i survive quite well but always feeling a little weak in dps.

i have 2300 armor 21k hp

thief did stunlock and heart seeker 10k++ damage ( couldn’t remember everything happen to fast )

guardian did 18k burning damage in 1 shot ( blink and spin )

please explain how am i suppose to deal with this kitten

even i setup traps to prevent them from charging towards me they still manage to reach me and i have NO ESCAPE ability, the only escape ability i have is using GS swoop and PRAY god i could fly like a eagle !

lightning reflexes

done it before and how far you think you could get away

lightning reflexes, signet of stone, Muddy Terrain and Spike trap still fail as other classes could EASILY catch up with you

i ever deal with a elementalist he use Lightning Flash and Ride the Lightning to catch up with me even with timed lb knockback still doesn’t demoralize him but i was lucky as i was close to the keep the NPC guard saved me

the problem is lightning reflexes 40 sec cd that’s too long compare with Rocket boots which is way better

signet of stone traited 64 sec cd at least this saved my life many times

Muddy Terrain can be avoided easily

Spike trap they can SEE and avoid thats what i believe many time i see chaser avoid it

the only time i got lucky is using traps with rune of trapper the invis of 3 sec and super speed really helped alot however this mean im losing alot of stats as power lb

zerg run just FT all the way be as tanky as possible and RUN in the middle and remember to spam “F” to loot the bags :P

Howered i dont see any connection to a nature when using longbow opposed to gs for example.

the only problem i face is dealing with thief and they silly stealth ….. the rest could be avoided and your suggest is great !

ranger is lack of fighting chance unity skill to strike back

Tbh, if you play power lb, you go MM or go home. Other options is for hybird or condi build.
After patch, both condi and raw dam are stronger but our pets are not. That means they will die faster than before. Ofc pets have some new good utilities but that dont make them live any longer. When you swap pet, all the boon from previous pet gone.
Compare to the old ranger, new ranger is better i admit. But compare to other classes, the new ranger fall behind much more than the old one. That is the reason ranger suck now.

MM is still better in most lb build

Natural magic and beastmastery need more improvement but compare to the old build they are better now but still lacking comparing to other classes

too many trait need to be 90% hp above this is some kind of silly joke noone will be 90% hp in WvW, maybe at the start of the fight but during the fight most people will be at least 60 -70% hp and whats the point of having those 90% hp trait ?

they should balance the classes based on WvW not spvp look more people is playing WvW then spvp

anyway dont tell me about zerg stuff everything die in zerg run

the only reason why ranger are currently at this state is because pets are OP if they are FIX, only the best class need to be nerf to balance the game

Spotter should also give ranger the ability to see invis within 1500 range so we are the ONLY class that can counter those stupid invis spammer

agree, ranger should be the fastest moving class act as a scout and could have ability to see stealth unit within a certain range

well this will add a little more challenge to thief and Mesmer in WvW

or could give ranger the camouflage only when STANDING STILL perfect combo for trappers.

this will improve the gameplay in WvW and more builds

to be honest …. it’s like 0.01% hit rate for Elixir F will hit anyone in WvW within 900 range this skill never really work unless im so close within melee range

this build quite tanky tested the rune work well in WvW i guess its up to my gameplay

42% crit chance

about 1.8k crit per shot

i never design my build for 1 v 1 but in small group or zerg rush

if mortart was converted a kit we OP it with lyssa runeset (elite take all boons and clean condition) if we got a 10 sec on cd on that rune, every 10 sec we got full buffed just using mortar for 1 sec and swap to another kit or weapon
thet can make a successive nerf on all kits
just leave mortar in this state (turret) and hopping for a CD reduction 120 sec to 60 sec

I’ll go ahead and echo what the others said.
Can’t abuse on elite skill usage runes when they have a cooldown of 45 seconds.
The only thing I can predict that changing mortar into a kit would do is promote and create build diversity. ANet loves those words, so please let it happen.

can you tell me which engineer build use mortar kit? they had to do something about it

even rangers elite skills are way better then mortar, mortar is still best changed into kits

When you use an elite skill, convert up to 5 conditions into boons. (Cooldown:45s) <== doesn’t sound OP even mortar turns into a kit

what i felt that WvW is lack of mobile mortar sometime you need to changed location to bombard enemies …… look at the bright side. if it’s a kit i believe many engineers will suddenly changed their build for example build in way based on mortar to bombard keeps or tower and etc anyway the mortar damage ins’t that insane that it’s an OP skill too it just become more fun and choices for players to come up with more creative ideals

I have never used the mortar. Ever.
If it was a kit, does that still mean that you’d become stationary when using it?

im not saying using mortar in 1 vs 1 combat …..

Hi all, i am playing a cleric engineer …. but im using flamethrower as my main weapon therefore i am asking this question….. does Sigil of water stack with Sigil of blood?

im thinking of using the following combo but i dont know do they stack

  1. sigil of water + sigil of ice
  2. sigil of water + sigil of Sigil of Renewal
  3. sigil of water + Sigil of Frailty

or i should just stick with sigil of blood ?

i started playing GW2 since beta …. i strongly believe Anet refuse to buff ranger and engineers which i happen to play both !

look at thief perm invis trolling everyone …..engage fight losing invis ran away or stalk you then strike you again ….

Warriors nuff said ….. kitten class ! haha

Guardian just doing their jobs but nerf their staff #1 attack it’s does a bigger AOE then flamethrower !

Mesmer as good as thief ….. but at least it brings alot of fun fact when dueling one

At least engineer is a lot better then ranger …. poor class

just DO IT ! turn mortar into a KIT !

i bet you will see a whole platoon of engineer in WvW will form a MORTAR BOMBARDMENT team blasting at others !!! while the other class protect them at the frontline !!!!

what is the point having it 120min CD no one use it in WvW because it’s SLOW!

but if it’s a kit that’s a different story we can have more new build based on that.

It’s almost a year since i played GW2 …. people have been asking for it but why don’t you just give it to the people instead you kept buffing warriors and thief

im still voting Fumigate as #1 and buff abit on abilities clear conditions and heal a bit of health of others … given the current damage it’s not going to hurt much ! haha
