I’ve noticed there tend to be a lot of rangers as well. i’ve been rolling once since release, but I’m toying with the idea of upleveling a warrior through wvw so I can be cool too.

I sometimes QQ prematurely as well. I’m seeing a specialist about it, they think it has something to do with my childhood.

I have to admit this thread is a lot less entertaining while I’m at work this week.

I’m trying to find a ranger build that I like in WvW. Currently I’m running some hodgepodge nonsense that I threw together on the fly so I could run with a zerg and survive long enough to collect bags/tag people with LB.

There is a lot of back and forth on the forums about what a ranger can/can’t do in WvW zerg/roaming mentality so I’m not really sure what I should be going for. There are a lot of posts about play what you like, play what fits your style etc. I think a cond build ranger could be fun (outside of pve (yay cond stack limits)). Any(almost) feedback would be most appreciated.

This match up is proving intense. Good job on FA coming out of hibernation or whatever it was two weeks ago(?). I honestly can’t believe people are saying they wanted to be in gold league. We would have been kitten stomped so hard.

Had a lot of fun this weekend running around with Olaf in DB BL and FA BL. You guys made us come defend SBI BL a few times.

I’m kind of ashamed that my server has colluded with SoR in this.

I don’t speak for my server but I would have to say that I’m pretty happy with it looking like we will be in silver. I think gold league would implode our server and it would cause me to have to wait 7 weeks before I could finish my map completion. :p

I’m often jealous of you old timers and all your experience/insight. Considering I only started playing the market 3 weeks ago I’ve yet to build up the coin to invest in long term. I’m limited to short term flipping for a little while longer unless I can stumble into something amazing.

That’s what I figured as well, but I’ve not been playing long so I’m not sure how things like this are handled.

I could deal with a unique bag. Currently its pretty much a loss to craft one if you aren’t going to use it. Prices are terrible.

I wonder if the people who buy these blueprints will be reprimanded in someway or if its only the people who flood the market.

The heroic Guardian felt he could offer his fellow pug a helping hand. Both lads took the waypoint and ran in tandem through the vile group of enemies, dodging and diving between purple circles and waves of green projectiles as they went.

After a safe go at the Magecrusher by means of ranging him from on top of a rock, the group of pusillanimous pugs casually strolled to the light orbs. “We can skip these gorillas, I saw it in Strife’s video” murmured the Staff Necro that had been quite up until this point. Brazil bravely said “I’ll just take the first one alone” as his face had become more red from alcohol ingestion as the dungeon run had “progressed” onward. The first orb was taken flawlessly with a swift Rush and Bull’s Charge, but the Guardian would not be outclassed as he took his own orb and died when he realized there was no light fixture to place it in. The gorillas swarmed in, and the Guardian swore and blamed keybinds as xXNoScopeXx spammed “LOLNOOB” repeatedly in map chat. After a quick 45 minutes of negotiating who would run the orb, the Mesmer had an epiphany. “I could just portal you, you know.” Everyone in the party was livid, and there was weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The road to Lupicus was not easy, but after clearing the entire group of mobs, only the Champion Orrian Warrior remained. Blade Trails went without dodges, Bleed stacks went without cleanses, and Staff Guardians face planted into the explody corpses in the side of the room. After a brief 20 minute struggle between kiting and ranging, the Champion fell and the loot boxes were picked up, rewarding the group’s effort with a green pants and Bloodstone Dust. It was now time to fight the boss of bosses.

Lupicus stood up, and in the panic of watching Brazil move into melee range, the pugs screamed and moaned in chat about how Warrior DPS was needed to kill grubs. Brazil would not have it, though, and cleverly typed “You are a horse and you can ride to knob head land. Get it.” into chat. The Cursed Shore loading screen appeared, and an alcoholic rage commenced in Brazil’s silent and dark room like there had never been. The Sugar Glider’s cage was broken open, the Les Paul was thrown violently out of the window, and screams were heard through the wall as someone banged on the door and yelled “THE POLICE ARE ON THEIR WAY!” Brazil ran naked into the night, with red and blue flashing lights following in close pursuit. All he could remember at that point were lines from The Fast and the Furious, as he collapsed in the road, hoping that Paul Walker would bail him out with the keys to a 1993 Toyota Supra.

Over the course of playing(forever) I could see that an unlimited gathering tool would save you coin after a certain point. Someone has done the match somewhere on how many gathers you would have to do in order to break even on the gold → gem conversion. I just don’t have the g to blow 40-50 (I believe its between there) on it atm. Otherwise I would totally get the clown.

I don’t have alts so the soulbound thing has no hold on me. I do see the allure of making it account bound, but there are many that do get these across multiple characters so I don’t blame them for trying to make some cash.

Why would they quit the game and sell stock? I could understand this if prices were high and you planned on coming back. Currently the price, from what I gather, is stupid low so that doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense.

We were screwed by transfers once and survived, I am sure if it happens, we will again. The general consensus was we wanted to stay in the mid tier’s, that changed, we cant change it now. Not all of us wanted our transfers back, especially me and a whole slew of the WvW’ers that showed up every day for the T1->T5 fall . Some did, and thats their opinion. Thats not SBI’s as a whole.

If we make it to gold, we do, if we dont then we dont. If we continue to rise, we continue to rise, if we fall, well you get it. I am 99% sure those people who stayed after the first exodus are going to remain if it happens again. There is no question we will get decimated in gold, and I like to think it will help us all improve.

Im still glad we had this match up, even with you trolling Mags, I always had a soft spot for you guys, and FA has been pretty awesome as well. It has been a pretty great match, and its helped already. Going from Sat/Sun/Mon of getting curb stomped in EB to wiping both zergs past 2 nights means we’re doing somewhat better. Its been fun.

I’ll follow Bannok into hell. Pretty sure I have a few times, but being a bearbow ranger makes all pvp hell.

See, this is the crap that annoys people. We were starting to have a classy time on the forums til Mr. Your Server Sucks Cause It Zergs had to say something about SBI for doing what every server does, including his precious MAG.

I wasn’t able to play tonight, cause of school, but it does seem that we held the PPT lead from around 11:30 am til around 8pm (EST) then FA and MAG started the double team of us, like on Monday night, and we dipped. Then, around 11:30 PM, I saw us climb back to the top spot, mainly cause it looks like FA lost its coverage around that time.

Since we have combated MAG on Tuesday, I think we will be fine. They will not overtake our 23k point lead during the week.

Looks like there won’t be much of a shift for that Gold league position though. FA might drop to 6th, and SoS take 5th. But, other than that, MAG will stay 7th, and we will pass DB (like anyone didn’t see that one coming).
