i was around rank 300 in solo queue leaderboards before the patch , now after patch i have 69%. Back to battlefield 4 , maybe i will come back when leaderboards get a reset , skyhammer glory farmers a rollback , and the new pvp reward system is out. But i doubt that there will be enought pvp players left then.

Glory should be like Balthazar Faction from GW1. We should be able to buy some things like chests that gives random stuffs.
I’m not talking about rank chests, something more like achievements chests or like the chest you get when you gain a wvw rank level or even a World Boss chest so it would be like zaishen chests. You could try and get some pvp exclusive items.

It doesnt necessarily need to be pure gold, as long as we can use our glory into something else than rank chests.

5 guardians works

People take warriors for their CC and not their damages? The problem with warrios right now is that they can deal a lot of damages, CC and that they are tanky. They can do anything because they are good in every situations.
Nerfing the damages on their main CC is a lot. And moving Unsuspecting Foe to Master Tier is also a big nerf.

You also say that rangers got slightly nerfed, but I dont call “reduced damage from storm spirit by 33%”, “reduced burning duration on sun spirit from 3 to 2s” and " Reduced the increased endurance regeneration from 50% to 25%" a slight nerf.

I also dont call the nerf on Weakening Shroud and Chill of Death a slight nerf for necros.
Even if the bleed reductions may not sound like a big deal, it still is a nerf.

Of the 4 classes you mentionned, Engineer is the only one untouched.

Oh, and now thieves wont have a free escape button, you call it a brutal nerf, but I see that Thieves will now have to pay attention.

Why should it be a waste of time? Playing, enjoying the fight and getting better should be all that matter.
Your rank should never be your primary motivation to play in pvp.

Did you read the whole preview and understood all the changes to the other classes?
Some classes took a hard nerf, harder than Thief

And I’m not the only one who noticed this bug .
The skill does the full animation, but no damage. And I’m not being interupted, and I’m not canceling it myself.
If the skill was interupted after the animation it would go on full cooldown.

It appears to trigger when you’re switching your target and using the skill at the same time.
Like spamming Tab to switch to the next target and also pressing the skill button multiple times.
If you’re not doing anything else after that it will put you in an infinite whirling that does no damage.
I can trigger the bug everytime on the golems in the heart of the mist

Whirling Wrath is currently bugged. It will sometimes do the animation, but will do no damage and put it on 3 sec cooldown.

Well I had fun 3weeks in spvp reaching R40 tiger finisher but there is NO WAY I would go on to try to get phoenix or dragon it’s completely sick requirements. SICK. I am done with spvp until they increase greatly the ranks points or decrease the requirements to go to level 80 (AND furthermore for all the time I wasted in spvp I gained like almost no gold at all). Going back to wvw, spvp is beyond broken.

You’re done with spvp until they make rank 80 easy? enjoy the long wait, it’s never gonna happen because r80 should not be easy to get.

Tbh, I’m more interested in spvp (team arena, because solo queue sucks)than wvw.
Basically you’re asking me why I’m playing a game. The answer is: because I like it.
I pve, spvp, wvw, and I play other games.

And you, why are you playing if you think this gamemode is not competitive? I suppose you dont want to lose either.
Honestly I’m surprised by the number of people (mostly friends) that are saying that GW2 is not competitive and are asking why Im playing on this and not Starcraft2 or something else.

Well I don’t read french forums because they sucks, and I cant read spanish. I’m just playing and I never saw any commander say that we are teaming up with X to beat Y.
3 servers are fighting each other, of course sometimes you are going to have both servers on your back.
This morning on EBG, jade attacked Durios and Baruch attacked Quentin at the same time. Did you planned that with them? I don’t think so.
Yesterday we attacked Green Keep on Baruch BL from the West, and Jade attacked from the East. But was this planned? No
When a commander sees an opportunity he takes it, that’s all.

You can cry about it when you have the 2 other servers on you all the time.

edit: And yes, there is a lot a rivalry between french servers. But even though some commanders would want to see Jade Sea go down, that doesnt mean we have to let Baruch relax while we focus Jade Sea. Attacking Jade, then switching to Baruch the next hour, then back to Jade. We have no ally, only enemies.

I’m not saying that they put them on the same point all the time. But if needed they can hold players while the rest of the team as the advantage.
I play guardian, and with the warrior on our team we often hold 3 or more people on the far point while the 3 other members of our team are against 2.
And why guardian warrior? Because a warrior, while being incredibly tanky will do damages a bunker guardian will never be able to do.

We even see more teams running 2 warriors and 1 guard.

That’s no different to going 30pts to get monk’s focus or alt. healing as a guardian. And you are right about the weapons, staff and mace are both healing orientated weapons, which is good design.

Bad design is giving warriors better regen than guardians, with more hp, without needing to run with a healing-style weapon, they can run with hammer/longbow for high damage and CC, and still keep their insane healing.

There is no justification for that

and guardian is still a better bunker, explain that?

Actually some teams use a bunker warrior, even though most of the time they are used as off tank.
Put a Guardian and a Warrior together and they’ll hold 2-5 players a long.

Just to be sure that everyone knows the numbers
Healing Signet : 392 + 0.05 x Healing Power per sec
Adrenal Health 125/240/360 + 0.15 x Healing Power per 3sec
Regeneration : 130 + 0.125 x Healing Power per sec

A typical Warrior build has around ~350 Healing Power.
300 from Defense (some may prefer 200)
45 from Valkyrie’s Jewel

With 345 HP:
Healing Signet: 406 Hp/sec
Adrenal Health: 177/292/412 Hp/3sec

Those passive regens are nothing like Regeneration, they are stronger and passive so you can’t steal/remove them.

Melee weapons on the gate, Ram on the gate, catupult on a wall.
I’m still at 0/1.

First of all, you dont need to be 80 to pvp. So you can try both if you want.

And if you want to WvW, I’m pretty sure you’ll find Necro funnier.

Temple of the Silent Storm also seems to proc a lot in Team Arena, but that might just be my imagination.
