Well since hallowed ground pulse every seconds you can be feared if one of the pulse convert stab into fear.

Warriors were useless for almost 1 year. Then they got buffed and reappeared in tpvp.
It was too strong so they nerfed it a little.

Their goal isnt to remove warriors from tpvp again.

Hey, I think you can really learn a thing or two if you play every single class a sufficient amount of time. I think that will help you avoiding burst. Starting out that was my problem too. But, I started playing other classes for while and got a taste of each of the rotations. on other classes.

I didnt forget about that. But what I mean is that Teamplay is more important than healing force alone, you can run what you want in solo queue, but when you can count on your teammates and when they are counting on you, healing spring has much more to offer

What does healing spring gives?
One of the rare long lasting water field . 10sec. Only this is enough to best Water Spirit.
Aoe regen and condition cleans, aoe vigor when traited (and it’s almost always traited)
Low casting time, hard to interupt so reliable.

What does water spirit gives?
heal only
long cast on both water spirit and aqua surge. spirit can die.

I’m no pro ranger, this is a class I don’t like to play. But I know a good heal when I see one.

you can pretty much use anything in solo queue.
it might be a good heal, but if it’s not used by rangers in the top teams it’s for a good reason

Just wanted to add that Tempest Defense won’t help against Basilisk Venom since Runes of Lyssa will give Stab most of the time.
Moreover, you may be able to survive a few seconds but you can’t run forever and you can’t hope to stay on a high ground making it rain either.
Moreover² this is not just about thieves imo, this is not the only class that can turn your game into a nightmare.

I’m starting to have regrets. I never farmed skyhammer thinking this would be punished.
Instead they get to buy r70-r80 armors, and convert x millions of glory into gold.

You’re matched with people around your level, that means you’re as good as they are. Rank means nothing.

A lot a damage nerfed, but maybe it will still be a good build.

S/D won’t have the instant escape button, if your opponent catches you you’ll need something else to get out.

I don’t think that necros will have that much trouble.

I’m not an expert but I don’t see many significant changes on Engineer.

And I think Rangers will still be used, they are still good to sustain so they will still use Healing Spring and Rez Spirit, with some other utilities like Lightning Reflex and Signet of Renewal

Tomorrow we will be able to buy Tome of Knowledge in pvp, 1500 glory and 20s per tome

Berserker stance is a manual skill, last 10sec with 60cd. Once it’s used the warrior is vulnerable.
Diamond Skin and Automated response are automatic, no CD. Last as long as you stay in the HP requierement.
How can you say it’s the same?
You need to use your berserker stance are the right time. But you don’t even need to pay attention to activate Diamond Skin or Automated Response.

Oh and btw, I main guardian. I hate Necros, but I still find those abominations should not exist.

You lose, you go down.

It depends on who you beat, not on your win/loss.
Let’s say you have 50 win and 500 loss, if you beat a lot of good teams in a row you’ll be ranked high, even if you lost a lot before.

a standard 10/25/30/5/0 build has 14,595 HP.
Shelter heals for 4590 / 30sec CD
Virtue of Resolve heals for 1663 / 60sec CD. So thats 3326 if you used Renewed Focus (90sec CD)
Each Meditation heals for 1980, but you need to use 2 of them to burst properly.
Even if you use ALL OF THEM at the same time it heals for 13,856 which is not even full HP. And I’m not even considering that you may have Poison on you.
You have no source of Regen except focus 4 (6sec regen if ot bounces twice on you -> 819 heal. broken.)
and no source of proctection. Your only source of Vigor is Minor Trait 5 in Honor, and some Guard don’t even go for it.

Also, Shelter is not 100% uncounterable.

Killing yourself on 80-100% retal uptime? lol.
Symbol of Wrath only gives 5 ticks of 1sec retal, leaping in the field gives 5sec retal. And even if it almost never happens you can Focus 5 in the symbol for 3sec of area retaliation.
If Retal is half of their damage, they are doing something wrong.

yeah dps guardian is pretty strong with alot of instant huge burst damage, which is kinda cheap. I’d dare to say that they have the highest instant burst damage in the game atm.

What even is this post? The only instant burst guards have is JI (does about 500 damage on a crit), and smite condition (does about 2.3k with a condition on a crit).

i meant instant as in an instant moment in time lol For example the focus 5, cast mace 2, smite condition mid cast and that’s like, potential 15k damage from 3 skills delivered at the same time. I meant instant as in the same time frame not the activation time.

Most of the burst builds dont use mace. They often use sword or scepter/focus + greatsword.
Moreover the guardian has to use most of its skill to burst properly.
I use Blind Exposure to stack vulnerability and I prefer scepter so :
-Focus 4 (if it bounces on the same target 6 stack of vulne)
-Focus 5
-Scepter 2 (sigil of fire should proc here)
-Scepter 3 (root)
-GS 3 + Judge Intervention + Virtue of Justice(more vulne and burn duration)
-GS 4 + Smite Condition (Focus 5 explodes)
-GS2
-Walk away

What’s left after this, is a guardian who used 2 of its meditations to burst so thats -4k heal, ans focus 5 is on cd

in pve to level an alt from 1-80 within a couple of hours it costs you around 200g (from crafting) so 16g and 120k glory is ridiculously cheap in comparison.

wrong. crafting a toon from 1-80 using crafting cost around 120 G lvl 1-400 if you pop a crafting XP booster. Also nobody on thier right mind would craft XP or Glory XP a toon from level 1-20 since it takes less than 2 hours max.

With the tomes that get you to lvl 20 there are only 60 lvl to do, but most(if not all?) of the crafting professions now gives 7 lvl instead of 10 (because of the new lvl 500) so it only gives 56 level (assuming that all of the craft gives 7 level) and it costs between 130 and 150g i would say.
and btw, crafting booster only applies to the crafting level, not the caracter level

Condi removal has no priority. It cleanses conditions from the last applied (to the right) to the first applied (on the left).
Thats why you have to cover your important conditions in order to be effective.

If you’re good, you will go up and meet with other good players after a few games.
You KNEW it was going to be like this, dont act like you’re surprised.

SFR will be second because they only had to fight us twice. Maybe it will be different in Season 2.

I guess this topic must have already been posted, but I didnt find anything using the search function.
I think we need more options to report players, like:
-Exploiting a bug, for all game modes, pve, pvp, wvw.
-Griefing : AFK in tournament matches intentionally or not, using all the supply to build 454254 flame ram in wvw, intentionally taking golems in wvw to destroy them, AFK at spawn in wvw for a very long period (even though those players could be reported for botting most of the time)

Right now when we are confronted to one of those situations, it is impossible to report the player for what he really did. How can a player be punished if the support team receive a false notification.
Some days ago, a player who had been griefing for a long time was still playing even though players reported him a lot of times. A kitten ed player had to make a thread about him to finally have him punished.
Then the thread got deleted and here is what we got:
“Accusing any player, guild, or server of cheating, griefing, hacking, or exploiting is not allowed on the forums. If you witness any of these acts while playing, please report them using the in-game ticketing system so our Customer Support team can properly investigate the issue. The forum is not the place for such issues to be discussed. In the case of exploits, you can also send any reports of exploit activity or knowledge to Exploits@Arena.Net to ensure the development team is aware of them.”

I would be happy to report players for their bad behaviours with the in-game system, but I can’t with the limited options we have right now.

We are total pug mess now… about 1/2 from our WvW guilds left SFR few week ago.
Our main force are dedicated pugs and few good commanders that are not rage quit yet.

The old SFR2.0 was destroyed at that week 1 (crazy lag, AP hunters, QQ 2-3 hours, rage quitters, funny new guilds, crazy unknown commanders in WvW and so on and so on)… in last few week we have few dedicated players/commanders that are trying to rebuild our SFR again.

PS you have my respect but I see this match … as my little sweet payback for that week 1 that destroy my old SFR2.0.
